Wind tunnel test on aerodynamic effect of wind barriers on train-bridge system

To investigate the aerodynamic effect of wind barriers on a high-speed train-bridge system,a sectional model test was conducted in a closed-circuit-type wind *** different cases,including with and without barriers,with different barrier heights and porosity rates,and with different train arrangements on the bridge were taken into consideration;in addition,the aerodynamic coefficients of the train-bridge system were *** is found that the side force and rolling moment coefficients of the vehicle are efficiently reduced by a single-side wind barrier,but for the bridge deck these values are *** height and porosity rate of the barrier are two important factors that influence the windbreak *** arrangement on the bridge will considerably influence the aerodynamic properties of the train-bridge *** side force and rolling moment coefficients of the vehicle at the windward side are larger than at the leeward side.

The aerodynamic performance of high-speed trains passing each other was investigated on a simply supported box girder bridge,with a span of 32 m,under *** bridge and train models,modeled at a geometric scale ratio of 1:30,were used to test the aerodynamic forces of the train,with the help of a designed moving test rig in the XNJD-3 wind *** effects of wind speed,train speed,and yaw angle on the aerodynamic coefficients of the train were *** static and moving model tests were compared to demonstrate how the movement of the train influences its aerodynamic *** results show that the sheltering effect introduced by trains passing each other can cause a sudden change in force on the leeward train,which is further influenced by the wind and running *** analyses related to the effect of wind and train speeds on the aerodynamic coefficients were *** relationship between the change in aerodynamic coefficients and yaw angle was finally described by a series of proposed fitting formulas.

Construction on aerodynamic Surrogate Model of Stratospheric Airship

Stratospheric airship can stay at an altitude of 20 km for a long time and carry various loads to achieve long-term stable *** stratospheric airship configuration mainly includes a low-resistance streamline hull and inflatable"X"-layout fins that realize the self-stabilization.A fast aerodynamic predictive method is needed in the optimization design of airship configuration and the flight performance *** this paper,a predictive surrogate model of aerodynamic parameters is constructed for the stratospheric airship with"X"fins based on the neural ***,a geometric shape parameterized model,and a flow field parameterized model were established,and the aerodynamic coefficients of airships with different shapes used as the training and test samples were calculated based on computational fluid dynamics(SA turbulence model).The improved Bayesian regularized neural network was used as the surrogate model,and 20 types of airships with different shapes were used to test the effectiveness of *** showed that the correlation coefficients of C_(x),C_(y),C_(z),C_(M,x),C_(M,y),C_(M,z) were 0.9287,0.9917,0.9919,0.9582,0.9861,0.9842,*** aerodynamic coefficient distribution contour at different angles of attack and sideslip angles is used to verify the reliability of the *** method can provide an effective way for a rapid estimation of aerodynamic coefficients in the airship design.

aerodynamic Interpolation for Flight Vehicles with aerodynamic Axial Asymmetry

Aim To study wind tunnel test data interpolation methods for flight vehicle with aerodynamic axial asymmetry. Methods For different body aerodynamic roll angles, proper wind tunnel test schemes were selected and trigonometric series were used for aerodynamic interpolation. Results and Conclusion A simple and effective scheme for wind tunnel test and an accurate aerodynamic interpolation method are developed with satisfactory results.

Flight Transient Estimation of VTOL Aircraft with Propellers

Methodological issues associated with the determination of the vertical take-off and landing aerodynamic parameters equipped with two rotary propellers during take-off and hovering, descent and landing are studied in the proposed article. During the computer simulation process, kinematics parameters diagrams were made, aerodynamic coefficients and propellers thrust components at all stages of aircraft take-off were estimated. That numerical data can be used in a preliminary stage of aerodynamic design for the vertical take-off and landing aircraft and electric drones at the determination of control and equalization elements geometric and kinematic parameters.
