The purpose of strategic management is to produce knowledge of,to understand and to explain how firms achieve and sustain competitive *** the assumption that something beyond firm-controlled resources and industry structure contribute significantly to firm's competitive advantage as well,I propose a new construct of interface assets to integrate all the resources beyond firm-controlled resources and industry structure.I examine the attributes of interface assets and propose four assumptions about interface assets.I also develop a framework that illustrates how interface assets contribute to competitive ***,I conclude the article by discussing the theoretical and practical implication of the interface assets model.

Unlike the usual practice of equating wages or labor compensation with labor cost,this paper incorporates labor productivity into an analytical framework and holds that the labor cost advantage is the relative relationship between labor compensation and labor *** on an empirical study of the data of Chinese manufacturing firms that include all state-owned enterprises and non-state-owned enterprises with their annual revenue greater than 5 million yuan from 2000 to 2007,this paper finds that labor compensation growth was accompanied by faster labor productivity ***,the labor cost advantage was not weakened during this ***,this paper conducts an exploration of how to sustain labor cost advantages in the future and proposes that they can be sustained by upgrading the industrial structure and improving the education system.

A field experiment was conducted at El-Serw Agricultural Research Station, Damietta Governorate, Egypt during 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 seasons to reduce mineral N inputs of sugar beet with increased land use efficiency and profitability under intercropping conditions. Seven treatments included five treatments (90 kg nitrogen “N” + 30 m3 farm yard manure “FYM”/fad, 80 kg N +30 m3 FYM/fad, 70 kg N +30 m3 FYM/fad and 400 g of Cerealine + 30 m3 FYM/fad for intercropping faba bean cultivar Spanish with sugar beet cultivar Gloria) and two treatments (90 and 20 kg N/fad for solid culture of sugar beet and faba bean, respectively, as recommended mineral N fertilizer rate) were compared in a randomized complete block design with three replications. Solid culture of sugar beet with the application of recommended rate (90 kg N/fad) gave the highest top, root and sugar yields/fad, as well as the percentage of purity compared with the other treatments in both seasons. Intercropping faba bean with sugar beet plants with application of 90 kg N + 30 m3 FYM/fad gave the highest number of leaves/plant, leaf area/plant, root length, root diameter and root weight/plant followed by intercropped sugar beet plants that fertilized with 80 kg N + 30 m3 FYM/fad compared with the other treatments in both seasons. On the other hand, intercropped sugar beet that received 400 g of Cerealine + 30 m3 FYM/fad had the highest percentages of T.S.S. and sucrose followed by 70 kg N + 30 m3 FYM/fad compared with the other treatments in both seasons. Solid culture of faba bean with the application of 20 kg N/fad gave the highest plant height, number of seeds/pod and seed yield/fad, meanwhile the highest number of branches/plant and pod length were achieved by intercropping faba bean with sugar beet with application of 90 kg N + 30 m3 FYM/fad followed by intercropped faba bean plants that fertilized with 80 kg N + 30 m3 FYM/fad compared with the other treatments in both seasons. The share of China’s textile industry in global textile market has kept expanding for more than 20 years by full utilization of its advantage in factor endowment since the Reform and Opening Policy. This paper argues that current competitive advantage of China’s textile industry is still based on traditional factor comparative advantage, which may be weakened since the technol- ogy of international textile industry is upgrading continually and the international competition is more intensely than before. After China’s entrance to WTO there are some difficulties such as indisposition of industry and trade structure, trade barriers to Chinese textile industry. How to accelerate industry structure upgrading and enhance international competitive advantage of China’s textile industry is the primary issue for the development of China’s textile industry.

On the basis of describing trade value and trade structure of agricultural products between China and main countries in East Asia,this paper uses revealed comparative advantage index and trade complementarity index to calculate the comparative advantage and complementarity between China and Japan,Korea and ASEAN countries. The research shows that the trade complementarity of agricultural products between China and Japan & Korea is weak,but the complementarity of some agricultural products between China and Japan is very strong. The trade competitiveness and complementarity of agricultural products between China and ASEAN coexist,and there is strong cooperative potential between China and ASEAN.

Based on the summarization of the status quo of the research both at home and abroad,the changing trend of the production of the main grain crops,covering the planting structure,seed structure and the trend of the per unit yields of garlic are *** to the comparative advantage theory,the comprehensive comparative advantages indices,which have been revised,can be used as the main research *** using the relevant data from 2000 to 2006,the scale comparative advantage,the efficient comparative advantage and the comprehensive comparative advantages of the main grain crops(wheat,millet,corn,soybean,rice and tuber crops)in each city of Henan Province are *** results show that among the main grain crops in Henan Province,only the wheat and the corn have comparative advantages;rice,corn,soybean and tuber crops all do not have the scale advantages;the wheat,millet and the potatoes have obvious efficiency advantages while rice,corn and soybean have relatively weak efficiency advantages;wheat and corn have comprehensive comparative advantages,while rich,millet,soy bean and potatoes do not have the comprehensive comparative *** with the current specific situation of Henan Province,the general situation faced by the production of main grain crops in Henan Province is analyzed *** the end,suggestions on adjusting the structure of the main grain crops are put forward.
