Objective:To investigate the quality of life and related influencing factors of patients with advanced lung ***:A cross-sectional survey was conducted on 51 patients with advanced lung cancer who were hospitalized in the Department of Oncology from January 2023 to December 2023,and the influencing factors of patients’quality of life were ***:Among the five functional scales(physical,role,cognitive,emotional,and social functioning)of the QLQ-C30 scale,the social and emotional function scores were the lowest,respectively 16.7(IQR:0,33.3)points,and 16.7(IQR:8.3,25),and among the three symptom scales(fatigue,pain,nausea and vomiting),the fatigue symptom score was the highest:77.7(IQR:66.7,88.9)*** results of Spearman correlation analysis showed that the anxiety score of patients with advanced lung cancer was positively correlated with depression score(Padvanced lung cancer was not correlated with anxiety and depression score(P>0.1).The self-care ability,the nature of the disease,and whether the patient was treated for chemotherapy were the independent influencing factors of the patient’s quality of life,and the difference was statistically significant(Padvanced lung cancer have different degrees of anxiety and depression,and their quality of life is affected by many factors,which are mainly related to the patient’s self-care ability,the nature of the disease,and whether they received chemotherapy.

Objective The objective was to investigate the prognostic factors of advanced lung cancer treated with apatinib by log-rank regression *** Sixty patients with advanced stage lung cancer confirmed at The First People’s Hospital of Nanning between January 2018 and December 2018 who had received a second-line treatment or a treatment above this level were *** patients were treated with 425 mg/d apatinib orally for a 28-day course of ***-rank regression analysis of remission rates,disease control rates,adverse events,and prognostic factors in all patients was *** After treatment,the total remission rate was 6.7%,and the disease control rate was 61.7%(37/60).Progression-free survival was 3.2±0.1 months,and overall survival was 5.3±0.5 *** overall incidence of grade 3-4 adverse reactions was 15.0%(9/60),and these adverse reactions were significantly relieved by reducing the drug dose or suspending drug *** degree,Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group(ECOG)score,and adverse reactions were all important and independent risk factors affecting the prognosis of patients(Padvanced lung cancer and prolong their survival with relatively mild toxicity and side effects,which is beneficial to patient ***,the degree of differentiation,ECOG score,and adverse reactions could affect the prognosis of patients.

EFFECT OF NEOADJUVANT CHEMOTHERAPY USING PACLITAXEL COMBINED WITH CARBOPLATIN ON advanced NON-SMALL CELL lung cancer

Objeetive： To assess the therapeutic effectiveness of preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy using a combination of paclitaxel and carboplatin on local advanced non-small cell lung cancer （NSCLC）. Methods： Twenty-five patients with advanced NSCLC were treated with paclitaxel and carboplatin for 2 to 4 cycles before undergoing tumor resection and then postoperative chemotherapy/radiotherapy therapy for 2 to 4 cycles. Results： Following neoadjuvant chemotherapy, the most prominent side-effect was bone marrow restraint. The overall response rate of preoperative chemotherapy was 56%. The mean survival time was 26.5 months, with 1-, 2- and 5-year survival rates of 55%, 25%, and 16%, respectively. All NSCLC patients survived the perioperative period. Conclusion： Preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy combining paclitaxel and carboplatin produced minimal side-effect while increasing the probability that advanced NSCLC patients would be able to undergo surgery thus improving their prognosis.
