Linearly and Quadratically Separable Classifiers Using adaptive Approach

This paper presents a fast adaptive iterative algorithm to solve linearly separable classification problems in R *** each iteration,a subset of the sampling data （n-points,where n is the number of features） is adaptively chosen and a hyperplane is constructed such that it separates the chosen n-points at a margin and best classifies the remaining *** classification problem is formulated and the details of the algorithm are ***,the algorithm is extended to solving quadratically separable classification *** basic idea is based on mapping the physical space to another larger one where the problem becomes linearly *** illustrations show that few iteration steps are sufficient for convergence when classes are linearly *** nonlinearly separable data,given a specified maximum number of iteration steps,the algorithm returns the best hyperplane that minimizes the number of misclassified points occurring through these *** with other machine learning algorithms on practical and benchmark datasets are also presented,showing the performance of the proposed algorithm.

We investigate the projective synchronization of different chaotic systems with nonlinearity inputs. Based on the adaptive technique, sliding mode control method and pole assignment technique, a novel adaptive projective synchro- nization scheme is proposed to ensure the drive system and the response system with nonlinearity inputs can be rapidly synchronized up to the given scaling factor.

A new approach to adaptive control design without overparametrization for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems

This paper considers the globally stabilizing adaptive controller design for a class of more general uncertain high-order nonlinear systems with unknown control *** the existing literature has solved the problem,for n-dimensional systems,the existing methods need at least n + 1 dynamic updating laws for the unknown parameters to construct the stabilizing adaptive controller;that is,the dimension of the dynamic compensator is not less than n + 1,and therefore,there exists serious *** this paper,by defining some new unknown parameters which need dynamic updating,also by using adding a power integrator and related adaptive technique,the overparametrization is successfully solved and a new approach is given to design stabilizing adaptive controller based on only one parameter updating law.A simulation example is finally provided to demonstrate the validness of the proposed approach.

In this paper, the insensitive fault tolerant control（FTC） problem is addressed for a class of linear continuous-time systems against bounded and time-varying actuator faults, external disturbances, and controller coefficient variations. Unparametrizable time-varying actuator faults are considered without the knowledge of fault efficiency factors. To obtain the information of the constant bounds of faults and disturbances, an adaptive mechanism is designed to estimate the bounds. Based on these estimations, an adaptive FTC controller is constructed to eliminate the effects of faults, disturbances, and coefficient *** bounded stability of the closed-loop adaptive system is achieved based on Lyapunov stability theory. The efficiency of the developed adaptive control strategy is verified by a rocket fairing structural-acoustic model.

In this paper,the fault-tolerant control problem for linear systems with actuator faults is investigated based on the geometric and adaptive approaches,and a new reconfiguration control strategy is *** main idea is to keep the original nominal controller as part of the reconfigured closed-loop system,and then ensure that the system output can track a desired trajectory before and after the occurrence of faults without adjusting the nominal *** particular,for the stuck and outage faults,the proposed control strategy does not require the condition of actuator redundancy and the more relaxed controller design conditions are ***,the adaptive technique is first embedded into the geometric approach to compensate for stuck and outage ***,the simulation solutions verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper considers the global state-feedback stabilization for a class of nonlinear systems with multiple *** from the existing related literature, the systems under investigation are subjected to unknown input bias, and allow unknown control directions and parametric uncertainties. In this paper, an adaptive state-feedback scheme is proposed, not only to deal with the multiple uncertainties, but also to achieve the global stabilization of the systems. Detailedly, a state-feedback controller is designed by the backstepping approach, where the Nussbaum-type gain approach and estimation-based adaptive technique are incorporated to handle the unknown control directions and parametric uncertainties, respectively. It is shown that all the signals of the resulting closed-loop system are bounded, and the original system states converge to zero. A simulation example on the model of ship steering is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.
