Power minimization with derivative constraints for high dynamic GPS interference suppression

In this paper,a novel adaptive interference suppression algorithm is proposed for high dynamic GPS (global positioning system) *** new method incorporates derivative constraints on the inter-ference DOA (direction of arrival) into power minimization approach,which could broaden the width of nulls in the interferences directions and adapt to the rapid change of the interference *** with the traditional wide nulling algorithm based on the derivative constraints,the new method does not have to know or estimate the DOAs of the desired signal and the *** new method is firstly discussed in the context of spatial processing,and then extended to space-time adaptive processing to mitigate wideband diffusive multipath *** of the new method is verified via simulation examples.

A Semi-blind adaptive Beamforming Algorithm for Wideband Coherent CDMA

This paper presented a novel semi blind adaptive beamforming algorithm specially designed for wideband coherent CDMA mobile communication systems with multiplexd control and data channels. The presented algorithm uses a parallel structure to exploit not only the desired user’s pseudo noise sequence but also the information from multiplexed pilot and data symbols, thus help achieve faster convergence and lower bit error rate. Monte Carlo simulation results verified the performance improvement in terms of BER.

This paper analyzes the performance of multiuser optimum combining （OC） systems where the desired user undergoes Rician fading,and the received signals are corrupted by Rayleigh-faded interference and noise. We consider the SER and ergodic capacity in asymptotic SNR regimes,and derive new closed-form expressions for key performance parameters such as the diversity order,array gain,and wideband slope. These results clearly reveal the impact of the Rician K-factor,which is shown to be advantageous to performance in all cases.

Automatic beamforming for noncircular signals with distinct noncircularity-rates can be achieved via Takagi factorization based on the second-order ***,the requirement on noncircularity-rate diversity can not be satisfied by rectilinear signals （e.g.,AM and BPSK signals）,which are used in many practical communications systems.A mixed-order Takagi factorization scheme is herein proposed to handle coexisted rectilinear signals,wherein the fourth-order statistics is used for adjusting virtually the noncircularity-rates of signals,while the second-order statistics is utilized for blind *** examples are also included to illustrate the performance of the proposed beamformer.
