Objective： To investigate the reporting characteristics of case reports of acupuncture therapy with CAse Report （CARE） guidelines, and to explore the applicability of the guidelines for these case reports. Methods： Case reports published from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2013, were identified by searching PubMed and the China Biomedicine Database by using MeSH terms. Screening and data extraction of case reports were conducted by two independent researchers. Assessments based on CARE guidelines and data analysis were conducted by using Excel 2003 and RevMan 5.0. Results： A total of 61 case reports published in 19 journals were identified, which involved 16 major types of diseases. Fifteen （24.6%） case reports declared no conflict of interests, and 5 （8.2%） reported funding sources. None of these case reports met all items of CARE guidelines, and only 6 subordinate items were fully reported among 50% of the case reports. Subgroup analysis indicated that case reports published in English or those that did not have competing interests had higher reporting quality. Conclusions： The reporting quality of case reports of acupuncture therapy is rather low. The reason might be a lack of awareness among authors and the poor dissemination of information regarding CARE guidelines in China. More evaluation studies are needed to promote and improve adherence to CARE guidelines. Moreover, an extended version of CARE guidelines should be developed for cases reports of special interventions such as acupuncture or adverse events caused by interventions.

OBJECTIVE： To assess the effectiveness and safety of acupuncture therapy for angina pectoris. METHODS： Randomized controlled trials （RCTs） concerned with acupuncture treatment of angina pectoris were identified by searching Academic Source Premier, MEDLINE, Science Citation Index Expanded, and three Chinese databases （China biol- ogy medicine database, China national knowledge infrastructure, and VlP database for Chinese techni- cal periodicals）. The valid data were extracted in ac- cordance with our inclusion and exclusion criteria. The main outcomes of the included studies were synthesized using Revman 5.1. RESULTS： Twenty-one articles on 16 individual studies were included and evaluated as having high or moderate risk of bias according to the stan- dards of the Cochrane Collaboration. Meta-analysis indicated that acupuncture combined with conven- tional drugs （ACCD） was superior to conventional drugs alone in reducing the incidence of acute myocardial infarction （AMI） [0R=0.18, 95%CI （0.04,0.84）, P=0.03]. Moreover, ACCD was superior to con- ventional drugs in the relief of angina symptoms [0R=4.23, 95%C/（2.73, 6..56）, P〈0.00001], and im- provement of electrocardiography （ECG） [0R=2.61, 95%C/（1.83, 3.73）, P〈0.00001]. acupuncture by it- self was also superior to conventional drugs for angi- na symptoms [0R=3.59, 95%C/（1.76, 7.92）, P=0.0004] and ECG improvement [0R=3.07, 95%C/（1.54, 6.10）, P=0.001]. ACCD was superior to conventional drugs in shortening the time to onset of angina relief [WMD=-1.40, 95% CI （-1.65, -1.15）, P〈 0.00001]. However, the time to onset was signifi- cantly longer for acupuncture treatment than for conventional treatment alone [WMD=2A3, 95%O （1.63, 3.23）, P〈0.000 01]. CONCLUSION： ACCD reduced the occurrence of AMI, and both acupuncture and ACCD relieved an- gina symptoms and improved ECG. Objective:To observe the difference in clinical efficacy between acupuncture with point selection based on syndrome differentiation along the meridians and acupuncture at non-meridian and non-acupoint points for functional dyspepsia(FD).Methods:A total of 74 FD patients were randomized into an observation group and a control group,with 37 cases in each *** groups received acupuncture ***(ST 36)and Neiguan(PC 6)were selected in the observation group,with Taichong(LR 3)and Neiting(ST 44)added for excess syndrome,and Gongsun(SP 4)and Yinlingquan(SP 9)added for deficiency *** non-meridian and non-acupoint points were selected in the control *** treatments in both groups were performed once a day with a 2-day break after 5 consecutive treatments,which constituted one treatment course.A total of 4 courses were *** scores of Nepean dyspepsia index(NDI)and Leeds dyspepsia questionnaire(LDQ)were recorded before and after treatment,and during follow-up(8,12,16,20 and 24 weeks after recruitment)to assess the clinical ***:The NDI scores in the two groups after treatment and at each time point during follow-up were higher than those before treatment(all Pacupuncture with point selection based on syndrome differentiation along the meridians has a better curative effect than acupuncture at non meridian and non-acupoint points in the treatment of FD.

Objective:To compare the clinical effectiveness of gamma knife radiosugery combined with acupuncture therapy and microvascular decompression in the treatment of idiopathic trigeminal ***:A total of 93 patients with primary trigeminal neuralgia added to Nanchang University Hospital from November 2016 to October 2018 were selected,it was divided randomly into the control group(45 cases)and the study group(48 cases).The control group was treated with microvascular decompression and the study group used gamma knife radiosurgery combined with acupuncture *** study compared the immediate pain relief rate,Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)scores,completion rate,recurrence rate,hospitalization days,total treatment duration,total treatment cost and total effective rate of treatment in 2 ***:Comparison of the same group after treatment:the VAS score with 24 hours of treatment in the control group was(5.33±0.49),with a significant difference from the pre-treatment VAS score(8.62±0.13);The VAS score with 24 hours of treatment in the study group was(5.96±0.58),with a significant difference from the pre-treatment VAS score(8.54±0.25).After treatment,immediate effect,parent effect,acute and chronic complements of the control group was 25,5,2 and 7 cases,and the study group was 6,25,7 and 1,*** were significant differences between the two groups;The comparison of hospitalization days,total treatment duration,total treatment cost was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion:Both microvascular decompression and gamma knife radiosurgery combined with acupuncture therapy can safe and effective treatment idiopathic trigeminal neuralgia patients,and for patients with good health,can tolerance all-hemp surgery,there are contraindicaindications to acupuncture the

Efficacy of acupuncture therapy varies in patients with similar ailments. The present study was undertaken to search for a marker for better efficacy of acupuncture therapy. The study was made in 224 patients including osteoarthritis 141 (62.94 %), polyarthritis 23 (10.26 %), Bursitis & synovitis 15 (6.69 %) and others 45 (20.08 %). ABO blood groups were tested for each patient. It appears that patients belonging to group AB and B responded well to acupuncture therapy in proportionately more number. Good result was achieved in 47.82 % cases in group AB and 46.04 % cases in group B, whereas patients of group A and O showed good result in 27.65 % and 26.15 % cases respectively. Apparently it may be concluded that patients of AB & B blood groups would respond comparatively well to acupuncture therapy.

Premature ovarian insufficiency（POI） affects seriously physical and mental health of the patients. Studies show that acupuncture may be promising in treating POI. yet evidence is insufficient. International patient registry, one form of observational study, is designed for evaluating effectiveness and safety of acupuncture in real-world clinical settings. We will face a series of opportunities and challenges. The opportunities are as follows：（1） Interdisciplinary cooperation can improve the effect of acupuncture for POI.（2） The protocol for acupuncture to treat POI has room for improvement.（3） The patient registry study can make up the shortcomings of randomized controlled trials.（4） The patient registry study can collect real-world data and explore responses of different populations to acupuncture and can be the foundation for the successive studies. International patient registry may face technological, ethical and financial challenges, while the established International Patient Registry Platform of acupuncture-Moxibustion（***：8082/v3） is actively responding to these challenges. Till now there have been more than 300 patients of POI enrolled on this platform.
