Many control laws, such as optimal controller and classical controller, have seen their applications to suppressing the aeroelastic vibrations of the aeroelastic system. However, those control laws may not work effectively if the aeroelastic system involves actuator faults. In the current study for wing flutter of reentry vehicle, the effect of actuator faults on wing flutter system is rarely considered and few of the fault-tolerant control problems are taken into account. In this paper, we use the radial basis function neural network and the finite-time H-infinity adaptive fault-tolerant control technique to deal with the flutter problem of wings, which is affected by actuator faults, actuator saturation, parameter uncertainties and external disturbances. The theory of this article includes the modeling of wing flutter and fault-tolerant controller design. The stability of the finite-time adaptive fault-tolerant controller is theoretically proved. Simulation results indicate that the designed fault-tolerant flutter controller can effectively deal with the faults in the flutter system and can promptly suppress the wing flutter as well. An anti-saturation fault-tolerant adaptive torsional vibration control method with fixed-time prescribed performance for the rolling mill main drive system(RMMDS)was investigated,which is affected by control input saturation,actuator faults,sensor measurement errors,and parameter ***,we gave a continuously differentiable saturation function to approximate the control input saturation characteristic of the RMMDS,translating the saturation characteristic into the matched uncertainty and unknown time-varying gain in the ***,an RMMDS mathematical model with unmatched uncertainty and unknown time-varying gain was developed,taking into account the presence of control input saturation,actuator faults,sensor measurement errors,and parameter *** on the established mathematical model,an error transformation model of the roll speed tracking was constructed by the equivalent error transformation *** to the error transformation model,a barrier Lyapunov function and a novel adaptive controller were studied to ensure that the roll speed tracking error always evolves inside a fixed-time asymmetric ***,numerical simulations were performed in Matlab/Simulink to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed control method in suppressing the RMMDS torsional vibration.

Focusing on the fault estimation problem of a class of over-actuated systems in the presence of loss of effectiveness actuator faults, we propose a robust adaptive fault estimation method. In this method, the persistence of excitation condition required by parameter estimation methods is relaxed via concurrent learning technique. Bounded external disturbance is eliminated by constructing the estimation error information with a series of filtered system variables. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method.

This study investigates the reliable control design for a class of interconnected nonlinear systems subjected to actuator faults, disturbances, and denial-of-service(DoS) attacks. DoS attacks are carried out in both sensor and controller channels. An integrated event-observer-based security sliding mode fault-tolerant control approach is presented to defend against DoS attacks and compensate for faults and *** be more specific, the fuzzy logic system(FLS) theory is used to approximate the unknown nonlinear component first. Using the output measurement and sensor channel triggered output information, an FLS aided nonlinear estimator is put forward, in which the faults and disturbances are reconstructed. Then, to achieve the trajectory tracking purpose in the presence of DoS attacks, actuator faults, and disturbances, an adaptive sliding mode manifold is established, based on which an event-driven mechanism is established and a reliable controller is designed. In the controller scheme, the fault compensation and disturbance rejection mechanisms are also included synchronously. The tracking ability is analyzed using the Lyapunov method and the FLS theory, followed by applications to an interconnected power network system and an interconnected inverted pendulum system to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed method.

This paper presents a fault tolerant control strategy for a class of nonlinear *** considered fault is a kind of state-dependent actuator bias,which has a statedependent bound with a unknown *** dealt with such kind of fault,a novel adaptive controller is proposed by applying a parameter separation technique and the tool of adding a power integrator.A smooth adaptive controller is developed to guarantee the global state regulation in the faulty ***,a simulation example is included to demonstrate efficiency of the proposed approach.

A class of unknown nonlinear systems subject to uncertain actuator faults and external disturbances will be studied in this paper with the help of fuzzy approximation theory. Using backstepping technique, a novel adaptive fuzzy control approach is proposed to accommodate the uncertain actuator faults during operation and deal with the external disturbances though the systems cannot be linearized by feedback. The considered faults are modeled as both loss of effectiveness and lock-in-place （stuck at some unknown place）. It is proved that the proposed control scheme can guarantee all signals of the closed-loop system to be semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded and the tracking error between the system output and the reference signal converge to a small neighborhood of zero, though the nonlinear functions of the controlled system as well as the actuator faults and the external disturbances are all unknown. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the control approach.

The reliable design problem for linear systems is concerned with. A more practical model of actuator faults than outage is considered. An LMI approach of designing reliable controller is presented for the case of actuator faults that can be modeled by a scaling factor. The resulting control systems are reliable in that they provide guaranteed asymptotic stability and H∞ performance when some control component （actuator） faults occur. A numerical example is also given to illustrate the design procedure and their effectiveness. Furthermore, the optimal standard controller and the optimal reliable controller are compared to show the necessity of reliable control.
