Purpose absolute measurement of radiant power in the X-ray region is essential for many applications in astrophysics,spectroscopy,and X-ray *** paper presents a dependable method of absolute measurement of radiant power for synchrotron radiation monochromatized *** A free-air ionization chamber was examined closely and employed as the detector in the present *** measuring principle was discussed,and the correction factors were *** measurement of radiant power for synchro-tron radiation monochromatized X-rays in the region of 6-20 keV was performed using the free-air ionization chamber at Beijing Synchrotron Radiation *** a verification and an important application,photodiodes were calibrated against the free-air ionization *** Relative standard uncertainties of absolute measurement using free-air ionization chamber are about 1%.Calibration of photodiodes within the photon energy range from 6 to 20 keV has relative standard uncertainties below 1.5%.Conclusion The free-air ionization chamber is qualified to be used in many disciplines to support the measurement of opti-cal radiation.

Design and Parameter Optimization of Zero Position Code Considering Diffraction Based on Deep Learning Generative Adversarial Networks

absolute measurement has consistently been the primary focus in the development of precision linear and angular displace-ment *** scheme design of binary zero position codes is an important factor for absolute *** and optimizing high-bit zero position codes with over 100 bits face considerable ***,the working parameters of zero position codes[unit code width(b),distance(d),and yaw angle(α)]remarkably affect their post-installation performance,particularly in absolute positioning and limit code application in multi-degree-of-freedom measurement *** study addresses these challenges by proposing a design method for zero position codes that considers diffraction based on generative adversarial networks and aims to explore a design with increased efficiency and accuracy as well as optimization for high-bit zero position ***,the tolerance range of zero positioning per-formance for each working parameter is *** leveraging the adversarial network structure,this study generates the optimization of a 150-bit code and processes the tests of the zero position code by using simulation *** following working parameter ranges for code design are recommended on the basis of theoretical and experimental results:b greater than 10μm,d andαwithin 1000μm and 3490μrad,and avoidance of intervals with sharp changes in the full width at half *** proposed code design and parameter optimization lay a solid foundation for research and engineering appli-cations in absolute measurement field and have considerable potential for generalization and wide applicability.

Joint processing and analysis of seismic gravity measurements in Capital Circle area

In Capital Circle area, there are three groups of repeated gravity measurements observed by different institutes using different instruments or methods. The simultaneous adjustment of absolute and relative measurements and the elimination of systematic error among the relative measurements have been carded out in this paper. Thus an unified temporal gravity change system with absolute reference has been established. On the basis of this, the crustal subsidence effect on gravity, which belongs to non-tectonic factor, is analyzed and the station displacement corrections are carried out, so that the long-wave disturbance is eliminated. So far our following aims are realized： the advantages of the absolute and relative measurement methods are complementary to each other; the contradiction and environment disturbance are eliminated; the amounts of information are enlarged; the sampling interval of time domain is compressed. In a word, the ability of identifying the tectonic activity process is enhanced. The results show that： there are systematic errors between the two groups of relative measurements and within the data of 10 campaigns ; the uneven local crustal subsidence in the southeast of the study area results in a linear rise of gravity value at 10 stations; they can be corrected by the regression analysis. The maps of revised temporal gravity change can obviously and integrally reflect the Ms=5.0 earthquake in Guye on October 6, 1995.

Numerical Simulation of the Response of an Aluminum Target Impacted by an Intense Laser Driven Flyer

Numerical calculations of the response of an aluminum target impacted by an aluminum flyer driven by an intense laser are presented. The state of the accelerated flyer and the characteristics of shock wave propagation in the target are described in detail. If the parameters of laser and flyer target structure are selected reasonably, an approximately symmetric impact can be realized between the flyer and the target, also the shock wave in the target has a wide stable range. Therefore the absolute measurement for the equation of state (EOS) can be almost achieved in laser EOS experiments with the bothside step target of suitable thickness.
