alkylation of benzene to value-added,high octane number and low toxic toluene and xylenes provides a way to lower benzene content in gasoline pool,and is hence a method to promote fuel *** the other hand,CO_(2) accumulation in the atmosphere causes global warming and requires effective route for its *** of CO_(2) as a carbon source for benzene alkylation could achieve both ***,alkylation of benzene with CO_(2) and H2 was realized by a series of low-cost bifunctional catalysts containing zinc/titanium oxides(Zn/Ti oxides)and HZSM-5 molecular sieves in a fixed-bed *** regulating and controlling oxygen vacancies of Zn/Ti oxides and the acidities of HZSM-5,benzene conversion and CO_(2) conversion reached 28.7%and 29.9%respectively,along with a total selectivity of toluene and xylene higher than 90%.In this process,more than 25%CO_(2) was effectively utilized and incorporated into the target ***,the mechanism of the reaction was analyzed and the course was simultaneously ***_(2) was transformed into methanol firstly,and then methanol reacted with benzene generating toluene and *** innovation provides a new method for upgrading of fuels and upcycling the emissions of CO_(2),which is of great environmental and economic benefits.

he effects of reaction temperature , flow rate of carrier gas , space velocity andbenzene to propene ratio on the alkylation of benzene with propene over Hβ zeolitewere investigated. At lower flow rate of carrier gas and space velocity, higher ben-zene to propene ratio the formation of cumene is favoured due to the difference be-tween rates of reactions of the alkylation of benzene (or cumene) with propene andthe alkyltranslation of diisopropylbenzene with benzene. The propylbenzene is pro-duced directly by the alkylation of benzene with propene.

Effects of hydrochloride acid dealumination of mordenite(MOR) catalysts for the synthesis of 1-phenyl-1-xylyl ethane(PXE) were investigated. The structure and acidity of catalysts were characterized by XRD, BET, XRF, FT-IR, 27Al NMR and NH3-TPD techniques. The catalytic performance of the acid-treated MOR zeolites was studied through using the alkylation of o-xylene with styrene. The test results showed that the strength of remaining Br?nsted acid sites increased despite the reduction of total number of acid sites after dealumination, and the micropores of HMOR were slightly enlarged coupled with the formation of secondary mesopores. Additionally, the modified HMOR zeolites showed longer catalyst life with the styrene conversion rate retained. Among the catalysts employed in this study, the modified mordenite that was dealuminated by HCl(2 mol/L) could be used repeatedly without significant loss of activity and selectivity during six catalytic runs, which have been ascribed to its specific acidity and structural properties.

The Br?nsted-acidic polyether ionic liquids(ILs)with different polymerization degrees(n value)were prepared via the reaction of tetramethylguanidine and epoxy ethane,followed by successive reactions with 1,3-propane sultone and trifluoromethanesulfonic acid(TfOH).The prepared ILs were characterized by infrared spectroscopy and 1H nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy,and their thermal stability was determined by thermal *** synthesized polyether ILs coupled with TfOH were used to catalyze the alkylation reaction of isobutane and isobutene for the preparation of alkylate *** polyether ILs could improve the substrate dissolution and promote the separation of the catalyst from the *** ideal IL(n=94)was *** optimized alkylation reaction conditions covered:a VTfOH/VIL ratio of 0.35,a reaction temperature of 40℃,a reaction time of 50 min,and a stirring speed of 800 r/*** conversion of isobutene was 92.4%and the selectivity for the C8-product was 81.6%.Under optimal conditions,the catalyst life was determined and TfOH showed improved cyclic performance in the polyether *** 8 operating cycles,the catalytic activity of the catalyst showed negligible decline.

Isobutane alkylation with 2-butene to produce high-quality gasoline was catalyzed by Nmethylacetamide(NMA)-AlCl3 based ionic liquid(IL) analog with a NMA/AlCl3 molar ratio of 0.75 and CuCl modification,which was marked as CuCl-modified 0.75 NMA-1.0 *** long-term experiment was carried out in the autoclave operated in continuous mode to investigate the distribution of alkylate under different experimental *** result indicated that the long-term alkylation was divided into three stages:rising,stable,and descending regions.C8 selectivity and molar ratio of trimethylpentanes(TMPs) to dimethylhexanes(DMHs) reached the highest level in the stable region,and research octane number(RON) of alkylate was as high as *** Al species([AlbCl7]^-,[A1 CuC15]^-) and cationic Al species([AlCl2 L]^+) from IL analog as two active Lewis acidic species played a catalytic role in the long-term alkylation,whereas the neutral Al species did not participate into the ***,the structure of CuCl-modified 0.75 NMA-1.0 AlCl3 was destroyed after the deactivation,and CuCl was enriched in the CD2 Cl2-insoluble substance,resulting in a decreasing TMP/DMH *** catalytic lifetime of IL analog was similar with CuCl-modified 0.55 Et3 NHCl-1.0 AlCl3 IL,but IL analog had a lower cost.

A series of Cu-based catalysts were developed for alkylation of benzene with syngas. The catalyst samples were prepared by the impregnation method, and were characterized by XRD, XRF, NH3-TPD, and TEM and evaluated in a fixed bed reactor. The optimized reaction temperature of Cu/Al2O3/ZSM-5 catalyst was 350 ℃, while higher contents of copper were conducive to alkylation of benzene with syngas. The new medium strength acid centers in the catalyst created by Cu were beneficial to alkylation. Hydrogenation reaction of CO was executed on the metal centers without dissociation, Dimethyl ether(DME) was the major intermediate over Cu-based catalysts. Higher selectivity of methylation and lower selectivity of heavy aromatics were confirmed after the second metal(Zn, Mn, or V) was added to the copper catalyst. Cu was partly covered by Zn in the Cu-Zn/Al2O3/ZSM-5 catalyst leading to low dispersion and low activity of copper. Cu-Mn/Al2O3/ZSM-5 catalyst possessed the best yield of methylation product. Cu-Mn composite oxides were probably formed in fresh catalyst, which blocked the sintering of Cu in the reaction process. The loading of Cu decreased dramatically after the introduction of V, while causing an increase of the amount of medium strength acid centers at the same time. V prevented the sintering of copper particles during the reducing process and had a promoting effect on the activity of Cu.

Shaped binderless ZSM-11 zeolite catalysts were synthesized via a dry-gel conversion technique from 70ZSM-11/30 SiO;mix extrudates. 1,6-hexanediamine combined with tetrabutylammonium bromide was proved to be the best structure directing agent for the synthesis of the binderless ZSM-11 catalyst, without adding other alkaline materials. The 70HZSM-11/30 SiO;mix serials materials crystallized for different times were detected by X-ray diffraction（XRD）, nuclear magnetic resonance（NMR）, scanning electron microscopy（SEM）, transmission electron microscopy（TEM）, scanning transmission electron microscopy–energy dispersive spectroscopy（STEM–EDS） techniques, and so on. In order to investigate the possible crystallization mechanism, the textural and structural properties of 70HZSM-11/30 SiO;mix serials samples were further characterized by N;adsorption–desorption. Acid properties were determined by temperature-programed desorption of NH;（NH;-TPD） and pyridine adsorption-infrared（Py-IR） measurements. In the alkylation of benzene with dimethyl ether, the serials catalysts exhibited different benzene conversions. 70HZSM-11/30 SiO;mix showed the lowest benzene conversion while sample 70HZSM-11/30 SiO;mix-6.5h synthesized only for 6.5h displayed a higher benzene conversion, even higher than the value over 70HZSM-11/30Al;O;mix. Extending the crystallization time, the obtained samples displayed the increased benzene conversion in general under the same reaction conditions. In the end, the relation of physicochemical properties with the reaction performance was investigated.
