A Time Series Short-Term Prediction Method Based on Multi-Granularity Event Matching and alignment

Accurate forecasting of time series is crucial across various *** prediction tasks rely on effectively segmenting,matching,and time series data *** instance,regardless of time series with the same granularity,segmenting them into different granularity events can effectively mitigate the impact of varying time scales on prediction ***,these events of varying granularity frequently intersect with each other,which may possess unequal *** minor differences can result in significant errors when matching time series with future ***,directly using matched events but unaligned events as state vectors in machine learning-based prediction models can lead to insufficient prediction ***,this paper proposes a short-term forecasting method for time series based on a multi-granularity event,MGE-SP(multi-granularity event-based short-termprediction).First,amethodological framework for MGE-SP established guides the implementation *** framework consists of three key steps,including multi-granularity event matching based on the LTF(latest time first)strategy,multi-granularity event alignment using a piecewise aggregate approximation based on the compression ratio,and a short-term prediction model based on *** data from a nationwide online car-hailing service in China ensures the method’s *** average RMSE(root mean square error)and MAE(mean absolute error)of the proposed method are 3.204 and 2.360,lower than the respective values of 4.056 and 3.101 obtained using theARIMA(autoregressive integratedmoving average)method,as well as the values of 4.278 and 2.994 obtained using k-means-SVR(support vector regression)*** other experiment is conducted on stock data froma public data *** proposed method achieved an average RMSE and MAE of 0.836 and 0.696,lower than the respective values of 1.019 and 0.844 obtained using the ARIMA method,as well as the values of 1.350 and 1.172 obtained usin

We report in this paper the alignment calibration of the STAR pixel detector(PXL) prototype for the RHIC2013 run and performance study of the full PXL detector installed and commissioned in the RHIC 2014 run. PXL detector is the innermost two silicon layers of the STAR heavy flavor tracker aiming at high-precision reconstruction of secondary decay vertex of heavy flavor particles. To achieve the physics goals, the calibration work was done on the detector with high precision. A histogram-based method was successfully applied for the alignment calibration, and the detector efficiency after alignment was studied using both p t p collision data and cosmic ray data.

Al-Ni hypereutectic alloys with various compositions were solidified under various magnetic field con- ditions to investigate the alignment of primary Al3Ni phases. The results showed that the application of high magnetic fields could improve the homogeneity of the primary Al3Ni phase distribution and induce the alignment of primary Al3Ni phases in the direction perpendicular to the magnetic field direction to form chain-like structures. However, the alignment was different from the orientation of the Al3Ni phases. Furthermore, the degree of the alignment decreased with the increasing concentration of Ni element. This can be attributed to the combination effects of high magnetic field and alloy composition on the concentration field around the crystallized primary Al3Ni crystals.

We have investigated the lubrication alignment behavior of point–plane contact and plane–plane contact between the GCr15 steel and polyimide(PI)friction pair using nematic liquid crystals(LCs)as the *** this system,rubbing orients the macromolecular PI molecules,and the oriented PI molecules induce alignment of the LC molecules in contact with or close to the oriented PI *** LC molecules are aligned in the wear scar grooves of the PI film,and alignment extends to the GCr15-steel *** of the LC molecules is correlated with the strong interaction force between the PI and LC molecules,the stable coordination structure of the LCs and GCr15 steel,and the weak interaction between the LC *** performed simulations of the pretilt angle of PI and LCs and discussed the relationship between the pretilt angle and the friction *** to the small pretilt angle between PI and the LCs,the LC molecules orient almost parallel to the PI material,which is beneficial for superlubricity of this type of friction system.

The characteristics of lattice structures can make crystal possess distinct anisotropic features, such as the varying magnetism in different crystal orientations and different directions. The anisotropic magnetism can also cause the free energy to vary in different orientations of crystal in a magnetic field(magnetic anisotropy energy). Magneto-anisotropy can make the crystal rotate by the magnetic force moment on the crystal with the easy axis towards the direction of the magnetic field, and can also promote the preferential growth along a certain crystal direction at the lowest energy *** solidification, vapor-deposition, heat treatment, slip casting and electrodeposition under magnetic field, the crystal structure with high grain orientation is obtained in a variety of binary eutectics, peritectic alloys, multicomponent alloys and high temperature superconducting materials. This makes it possible to fabricate texture-functional material by using high magnetic field and magneto-crystalline anisotropy of crystal. The purpose of this article is to review some recent progress of the orientation and alignment in material processing under a high magnetic field.

Enterprise architecture(EA) development is always a superior way to address business-IT alignment(BITA) ***, most EA design frameworks are inadequate to allocate IT resources, which is an important metric of BITA maturity. Under this situation, the idea of IT resource allocation is combined with the EA design process, in order to extend prior EA research on BITA and to demonstrate EA's capability of implementing IT governance. As an effective resource allocation method, portfolio decision analysis(PDA) is used to align business functions of business architecture and applications of system architecture. Furthermore, this paper exhibits an illustrative case with the proposed framework.
