Foot-and-mouth disease virus(FMDV)has developed various strategies to antagonize the host innate *** Lpro and 3cpro interfere with type I IFNs through different *** structural protein VP3 of FMDV degrades Janus kinase 1 to suppress IFN-γsignaling *** non-structural proteins of FMDV are involved in restraining type II IFN signaling pathways is *** this study,it was shown that FMDV replication was resistant to IFN-γtreatment after the infection was established and FMDV inhibited type II IFN induced expression of IFN-γ-stimulated genes(ISGs).We also showed for the first time that FMDV non-structural protein 3c antagonized IFN-γ-stimulated JAK-STAT signaling pathway by blocking STAT1 nuclear translocation.3c^(pro)expression significantly reduced the ISGs transcript levels and palindromic gamma-activated sequences(GAS)promoter activity,without affecting the protein level,tyrosine phosphorylation,and homodimerization of ***,we provided evidence that 3c protease activity played an essential role in degrading KPNA1 and thus inhibited ISGs mRNA and GAS promoter *** results reveal a novel mechanism by which an FMDV non-structural protein antagonizes host type II IFN signaling.

3c-based methods to detect long-range chromatin interactions

Transcriptional regulatory regions are often located several thousand bases from the gene that they *** function, the chromatin strand forms loops to juxtapose distal regions with the promoter. These long-rangechromatin interactions have profound influences on the regulation of gene expression and mapping these interactions iscurrently a subject of intensive investigation. chromosome conformation capture (3c) technology and its derivativeshave been widely used to detect chromatin interactions and greatly contributed to understanding of the relationshipbetween genome organization and genome function. Here we review these 3c-based methods for the study of long-rangechromatin interactions and recent exciting findings obtained by using these technologies.

3c-Sic heteroepitaxial layers were grown on Si substrates using a horizontal,hot-wall low pressure chemical vapor deposition *** crystal quality,surface morphology and thickness uniformity of the layers were characterized by X-ray diffraction,atomic force microcopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,*** of the epitaxial layer was determined to follow a three-dimensional island mode initially and then switch to a step-flow mode as the growth time increases.

Spatial distribution of metal emissions in supernova remnant 3c 397 viewed with chandra and XMM

We present X-ray equivalent width imaging of 3c 397 for Mg Heα,Si Heα,S Heα,and Fe Kα complex lines with chandra and XMM-Newton *** images revealed that the heavier the element is,the smaller the extent of the element distribution *** Mg emission is evidently enhanced in the southeastern blow-out region,well along the radio boundary there,and appears to partially envelope the eastern Fe *** bilateral hat-like Si line-emitting structures are along the northern and southern borders,roughly symmetric with respect to the south-east-northwest elongation *** S line-emitting shell is located just inside the northern radio and IR shell,indicating a layer of reversely shocked sulphur in the ejecta.A few enhanced Fe features are basically aligned along the diagonal of the rectangular shape of the SNR,which implicates an early asymmetric SN explosion.

3c 120 is a Seyfert galaxy with a well detected X-ray *** investigate the X-ray emission of its five jet knots and fit their spectral energy distributions(SEDs) from the radio to the X-ray bands with a single-zone lepton *** find that the SEDs of knots k7,s2,and s3 can be explained by synchrotron radiation,and the X-rays are the simple extension of the radio-optical emission component,but that of the inner knot k4 requires the Ic/cMB model,in which the X-rays are due to the inverse compton scattering of the cosmic microwave background photons by relativistic electrons in the jet with a beaming factor δ-*** outer knot k25 is resolved into a three-part *** is shown that the fitting of the X-rays from this knot with the Ic/cMB model needs an extraordinary beaming factor δ-15-25 for a jet at the kpc *** the X-rays of knot k25 are produced by synchrotron radiation similar to k7,s2,and s3,they may be contributed by a relativistic electron population whose radiations in other wavelengths are not detected.

考虑了喷流的吸收效应对类星体3c 279多波段能谱的影响.在不含时的同步自康普顿(SSc)模型的基础上,假定喷流中辐射的包受到在其前面的已冷却的包的遮挡,从而使得辐射区的发射可被吸收,这导致能谱的改变.计算表明喷流物质会对类星体辐射区发出的X射线波段的辐射有强烈的吸收,同时喷流物质会以发射线的形式在软X射线和紫外波段将吸收来的能量发射出去.利用这样的模型拟合了类星体3c 279观测到的多波段能谱,并对结果给出了简要的讨论.

3c 454.3伽玛射线和近红外辐射延时分析

2008年秋天,3c 454.3在γ射线能段和光学波段呈现出非常大的爆发,在这次爆发过程中Fermi/LAT和SMARTS都对其进行了观测。通过对γ射线能段与SMARTS J及B波段在这次大爆发期间获得的光变数据进行细致的DcF分析发现:这段时期内3c 454.3的J波段光变落后γ射线光变大约2d。在进行相关性分析过程中,对DcF做了稍许改进,得到一种改进的DcF-时间变换的离散相关函数(TDcF)。TDcF的峰值在T=-1.66d,无论是对TDcF取重心还是用非对称的高斯函数拟合,其结果都显示3c 454.3的J波段光变落后γ射线光变大约2d。FR/RSS Monte carlo模拟结果也显示γ射线领先近红外(光学)光变。如果这个延时是由于电子辐射冷却产生的,那么逆康普顿散射的"种子"光子能量不能大于1.1eV。这个延时也可能是由于辐射区域的大小不同引起的,2d的延时反映了两个波段辐射区域的几何性质。高能与低能波段光变有较强的相关性证明这两个波段的辐射是由同一辐射区域产生的:γ射线辐射来自于辐射区域的内部,近红外辐射来自于包括γ射线辐射区域在内的更大区域。由于近红外的辐射区域大于γ射线辐射区域,引起光变的相对论激波传播到整个近红外辐射区域比传播到整个γ射线辐射区域所用的时间长;因此,观测到了J波段光变落后γ射线光变的现象。通过结构函数分析得到的两个波段的光变时标相差约2.5d,这与大约2d的延时符合得很好。
