Covalent organic frameworks(COFs) have broad application prospects in adsorption and ***,as COFs are generally in powder form,their superior performance at the laboratory scale is difficult to transfer into pilot-or industrial-scale ***,there is a strong and urgent need to structure COFs into monolithic ***,a facile strategy was developed to prepare COFs@alginate composite *** composite beads comprising different COFs including TpPa-1(2,4,6-triformylphloroglucinol(Tp) and p-phenylenediamine(Pa-1)as monomers),TpDb(Tp and 2,5-diaminobenzonitrile(Db)as monomers) and TpTt(Tp and 1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triamine(Tt) as monomers) with controlled COF loading and product size have been facilely achieved via this strategy,validating the applicability of this ***,the representative TpDb@alginate composite beads showed good adsorption performance of uranium(VI) in aqueous solution with high adsorption capacity(635 mg·g^(-1)),good interference immunity and *** work offers a practical approach for incorporation of COFs into polymer matrix,which can serve as potential adsorbents for radioactive wastewater treatment.

Organic mulch can improve the moisture,chemical composition,dust,and dust suppression of soil,and beautify the *** view of the rapid evaporation rate and serious loss of soil water in tropical areas,this paper explored the effect of organic mulch materials with different thickness on the increase of soil water retention rate and the improvement of soil water loss caused by *** sawdust(RWS),rubberwood bark(RWB),coconut fiber(CF),and Mulch(MC)were selected as the mulching *** experiment and laboratory experiment were performed,and soil-moisture content and temperature were continuously ***,from the daily measurement of water content at constant conditions(29℃±0.2℃,74%±1%air RH)in the laboratory experiment,the results of variance analysis(ANOVA)showed that there was no significant difference between the soil-water content of covered samples and bare soil(P>0.05).In the field experiments,the analysis of variance indicated significant differences in the soil-moisture content owing to the effect of the covering material(P<0.01).Mulching increased the soil-moisture content with smaller fluctuations in the deep soil compared with bare *** most stable soil-moisture content were achieved by RWS,RWB,CF,and MC,with thicknesses of 5,3,7,and 5 cm,respectively,compared with bare soil,and the average water contents of the 0-40 cm soil layer was 0.58%,0.01%,0.82%,and 0.93%,***,the intensity of the change in soil moisture decreased gradually with increasing depth,and was more stable than that of bare soil and other *** them,the difference in water content between the adjacent gradient soil layers(the soil layers are graded every 10 cm in depth)M_(3-7)(0.011±0.004)was the *** can be concluded that CF mulching materials with a thickness of 7 cm would be preferable when selecting mulching materials for controlling soil moisture in tropical cities.

Room temperature phosphorescent(RTP)materials have a variety of applications ranging from bioimaging,optoelectronic devices to information security ***,the preparation procedures for these materials are always tedious and ***,we report a micro-wave approach to prepare RTP carbon dots(CDs)in only 8 *** micro-wave promoted the carbon and boron bond formation using natural compounds glucose and boric *** result has been confirmed using TEM,FTIR,XPS and XRD *** C-B hetero atomized material presented a long afterglow *** the irradiation with UV light,we observed an eight-second RTP by naked eyes after the lamp was turned off,and the phosphorescence lifetime was 487 *** excellent performance was mainly due to the formation of B-C bonds that promoted the intersystem crossings(ISC)and non-radiation transition of triplet ***,the glass state of the materials also helped to stabilize the triplet states of B-CDs and made its non-irradiation inactivated,which resulted in the characteristics of yellow green *** results have demonstrated that micro-wave is a convenient and effective strategy to make hetero atomized RTP material,providing new possibilities for their industrial productions.

Both sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)and potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)are considered as promising candidates in grid-level energy storage ***,the larger ionic radii of K+and Na+induce poor diffusion kinetics and cycling stability of carbon anode *** structure regulation is an ideal strategy to promote the diffusion kinetics and cyclic stability of carbon materials by facilitating electrolyte infiltration,increasing the transport channels,and alleviating the volume ***,traditional pore-forming agent-assisted methods considerably increase the difficulty of synthesis and limit practical applications of porous carbon ***,porous carbon materials(Ca-PC/Na-PC/K-PC)with different pore structures have been prepared with gluconates as the precursors,and the amorphous structure,abundant micropores,and oxygen-doping active sites endow the Ca-PC anode with excellent potassium and sodium storage *** PIBs,the capacitive contribution ratio of Ca-PC is 82%at 5.0 mV s^(-1) due to the introduction of micropores and high oxygen-doping content,while a high reversible capacity of 121.4 mAh g^(-1) can be reached at 5 A g^(-1) after 2000 *** SIBs,stable sodium storage capacity of 101.4 mAh g^(-1) can be achieved at 2 A g^(-1) after 8000 cycles with a very low decay rate of 0.65%for per *** work may provide an avenue for the application of porous carbon materials in the energy storage field.

By using Co(NH3)63+as the template,a new complex HNU-38 was synthesized under hydrothermal reaction through the adoption of H3BTC and Cl-as the ligands(H3BTC=1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid).HNU-38 crystallized in the monoclinic system,P21/c space group with a=9.9696(3),b=17.0580(6),c=16.5263(6)?,β=100.400(2)o,Z=4,V=2764.31(16)?3,Mr=883.63,Dc=2.123 g/cm3,F(000)=1736,S=0.920,R=0.0358 and wR=0.0838(Ⅰ>2σ(Ⅰ)).In HNU-38,the Cd2+and BTC3-were linked together to form layers with Cl-serving as the *** should be noted that(H2O)n chains were found in the channels and play a co-templating role along with the Co(NH3)63+cations in HNU-38,and the proton conduction properties were investigated.

Titanium dioxide(TiO_(2))has been limited in photocatalysis due to its wide band gap(3.2 eV)and limited absorption in the ultraviolet ***,organic components have been introduced to hybrid with TiO_(2) for enhanced photocatalytic efficiency under visible ***,we report that benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b']dithiophene polymer was an ideal organic material for the preparation of a hybrid material with TiO_(2).The energy band gap of the resulting hybrid material decreased to 2.9 eV and the photocatalytic hydrogen production performance reached 745.0μmol g^(-1) h^(-1) under visible light ***,the material still maintained the stability of hydrogen production performance after 40 h of photocatalytic *** analysis of the transient current response and electrochemical impedance revealed that the main reasons for the enhanced water splitting of the hybrid materials were the faster separation of electron hole pairs and the lower recombination of photocarrier *** findings suggest that polythiophene is a promising organic material for exploring hybrid materials with enhanced photocatalytic hydrogen production.

Oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)is the heart of many new energy conversions and storage devices,such as metal-air batteries and fuel ***,ORR is currently facing the dilemma of sluggish intrinsic kinetics and the noble electrocatalysts of high price and low *** this work,isolated Co atoms anchored on defective nitrogen-doped carbon graphene single-atom catalyst(Co-SAC/NC)are synthesized via the proposed movable type printing *** prepared Co-SAC/NC catalyst demonstrates admirable ORR performance,with a high half-wave potential of 0.884 V in alkaline electrolytes and outstanding *** addition,an assembled zinc–air battery with prepared Co-SAC/NC as air-cathode catalyst displays a high-peak power density of 179 mW cm^(-2)and a high-specific capacity(757 mAh g^(-1)).Density functional theory calculations confirm that the true active sites of the prepared catalyst are Co-N_(4)moieties,and further reveal a significantly electronic structure evolution of Co sites in the ORR process,in which the project density of states and local magnetic moment of Co atom varies during its whole reaction *** work not only paves a new avenue for synthesizing SACs as robust electrocatalysts,but also provides an electronic-level insight into the evolution of the electronic structure of single-atom catalysts.

Objectives:To provide data on the safety and efficacy of renal arterial embolization(RAE)in patients with highgrade blunt renal *** and methods:Fifteen patients with high-grade blunt renal injury(AAST grades IV-V)admitted to our hospital from July 2014 to December 2019 were retrospectively reviewed in this *** clinical success rate and complications were investigated ***:Fifteen patients with high-grade blunt renal injury,13 men and 2 women with an average age of 41.6 years,including 11 hemodynamically unstable patients and 4 stable patients,were treated with *** these patients,73.3%(11 of 15)had grade IV,and 26.7%(4 of 15)had grade V injuries,while 53.3%(8 of 15)patients had concomitant *** patient received main RAE and 14 patients received selective *** clinical success rate after the first embolization was 93.3%(14 of 15).RAE was repeated and was successfully performed in one patient with sustained *** significant difference in creatinine levels was found before and after *** the follow-up period of 2–82 months,two patients required tube drainage due to urine leaks,one patient developed renal failure requiring renal replacement therapy,and one patient developed secondary ***:RAE can provide a high success rate of hemostasis for both hemodynamically stable and unstable patients with high-grade blunt renal injury,and only minor complications are observed with this procedure.

Enhanced photocatalytic hydrogen production performance of pillararene-doped mesoporous TiO_(2) with extended visible-light response

Pillararenes are a new type of supramolecular hosts,and they have been widely applied in drug delivery,catalysis,separation process,and ***,they have rarely been used to produce ***,we report that pillararenes were used as functional molecules to explore photocatalysts and efficiently promoted hydrogen production from *** most common and easily synthesized pdimethoxy pillar[5]arene(PI-OMe) was employed to form an organic-inorganic hybrid material with titanium dioxide(TiO_(2)),denoted as PI-OMe-TiO_(2).using a convenient sol-gel *** the material was loaded with Pt nanoparticles,the resulting Pt/PI-OMe-TiO_(2)had a good activity and stability in catalyzing water splitting to produce hydrogen under visible *** optimized catalyst Pt/PI-OMe-TiO_(2)(5.2 wt%)had a photocatalytic hydrogen production rate of 1736 μmol g^(-1)h^(-1) under visible light(λ> 420 nm)*** catalyst with a Pt loading of 0.5 wt% and a PI-OMe content of 5.2 wt% also showed good long-term durability after 10 cycles of 50 h *** total amount of hydrogen produced was65.01 mmol/g,and the corresponding turnover number(TON) value was *** findings suggest that pillararene derivatives are promising functional molecules to make efficient and stable hybrid photocatalysts with TiO_(2)and open a new door to hydrogen production using visible light.
