Polyimide(PI)films are widely used in printed circuit boards,electronic packaging,interlayer media,display panels,and other *** the thermal conductivity of PI film is of great significance to promote effective heat removal in microelectronic ***,melamine cyanurate(MC)with multiple hydrogen bonds was designed and introduced into water-soluble polyamide acid(Ws-PAA)solution via an in-situ co-precipitation *** MC supramolecule forms a chemical bond at the end of the PI chain,while also confines the adjacent chains through hydrogen bonds andπ-πconjugation,functioning as a tailor to improve the chain arrangement via this molecular welding *** tailored PI/MC films exhibit anisotropic thermal conductivity(TC):the in-plane TC can reach 0.93 W/(mK)while the through-plane TC is 0.60 W/(mK).Micromorphology and structural characterizations confirm the formation of complete heat conduction *** developed films also show potential application prospects functioning as heat dissipation media in microelectronic devices.

Production of light olefins from CO_(2), the primary greenhouse gases, is of great importance to mitigate the adverse effects of CO_(2) emission on environment and to supply the value-added products from nonpetroleum resource. However, development of robust catalyst with controllable selectivity and stability remains a challenge. Herein, we report that Zn-promoted Fe catalyst can boost the stable and selective production of light olefins from CO_(2). Specifically, the Zn-promoted Fe exhibits a highly stable activity and olefin selectivity over 200 h time-on-stream compared to the unpromoted Fe catalyst, primarily owing to the preservation of active χ-Fe_(5)C_(2) phase. Structural characterizations of the spent catalysts suggest that Zn substantially regulates the content of iron carbide on the surface and suppresses the reoxidation of bulk iron carbide during the reaction. DFT calculations confirm that adsorption of surface carbon atoms and graphene-like carbonaceous species are not thermochemically favored on Zn-promoted Fe catalyst. Carbon deposition by CAC coupling reactions of two surface carbon atoms and dehydrogenation of CH intermediate are also inhibited. Furthermore, the effects of Zn on antioxidation of iron carbide were also investigated. Zn favored the hydrogenation of surface adsorbed oxygen atoms to H_(2)O and the desorption of H_(2)O, which reduces the possibility of surface carbide being oxidized by the chemisorbed oxygen.

Characterizing permeability-porosity relationships of porous rocks using a stress sensitivity model in consideration of elastic-structural deformation and tortuosity sensitivity

Clarifying the relationship between stress sensitivities of permeability and porosity is of great significance in guiding underground resource *** and more studies focus on how to construct stress sensitivity models to describe the relationship and obtain a comprehensive stress sensitivity of porous ***,the limitations of elastic deformation calculation and incompleteness of considered tortuosity sensitivity lead to the fact that the existing stress sensitivity models are still unsatisfactory in terms of accuracy and ***,a more accurate and generic stress sensitivity model considering elastic-structural deformation of capillary cross-section and tortuosity sensitivity is proposed in this *** elastic deformation is derived from the fractal scaling model and Hooke's *** the effects of elastic-structural deformation on tortuosity sensitivity,an empirical formula is proposed,and the conditions for its applicability are *** predictive performance of the proposed model for the permeability-porosity relationships is validated in several sets of publicly available experimental *** experimental data are from different rocks under different pressure *** mean and standard deviation of relative errors of predicted stress sensitivity with respect to experimental data are 2.63%and 1.91%.Compared with other models,the proposed model has higher accuracy and better predictive generalization *** is also found that the porosity sensitivity exponent a,which can describe permeability-porosity relationships,is 2 when only elastic deformation is considered.a decreases from 2 when structural deformation is also *** addition,a may be greater than 3 due to the increase in tortuosity sensitivity when tortuosity sensitivity is considered even if the rock is not fractured.

The so-called low-density steels have generated a lot of interests with their high specific strength and ductility due to the addi-tion of the light element *** order to accelerate the low-density steel design,a thermodynamic database has been developedwithin the present author *** Al-containing systems,i.e.,Cr-Al-Cand Ni-Al-C,were modeled and optimirzed with CALPHAD approach based on the reliable binary *** Cr-Al-C,system,the Gibbs energy of Cr2AlC phasewas described by a temperature-dependent polynomial with the aid of the experimental data on the heat capacity,instead of estimating heat capacity from Ncumann-Kopp *** incongruent melting temperature of Cr2AlC is 1762 K with theinvariant reaction of liquid+Cr3C2+Al4C3→*** phase equilibria between Cr2AlC and binary phases were wellreproduced by using the present model *** Ni-Al-C system,the liquid,fec and bec phases have been optimizedto fit the carbon solubility in these three phases.A good agreement between the calculated and experimental data has beenobtained using the present description of Ni-Al-C *** reliable descriptions of the two ternary systems developedin the present work can be implemented into the thermodynamic database for low-density steels.

The long-term survival outcomes of radical prostatectomy(RP)in Chinese prostate cancer(PCa)patients are poorly *** conducted a single-center,retrospective analysis of patients undergoing RP to study the prognostic value of pathological and surgical *** April 1998 to February 2022,782 patients undergoing RP at Queen Mary Hospital of The University of Hong Kong(Hong Kong,China)were included in our *** Cox regression analysis and Kaplan–Meier analysis with stratification were *** 5-year,10-year,and 15-year overall survival(OS)rates were 96.6%,86.8%,and 70.6%,respectively,while the 5-year,10-year,and 15-year PCa-specific survival(PSS)rates were 99.7%,98.6%,and 97.8%,*** International Society of Urological Pathology PCa grades(ISUP Grade Group)≥4 was significantly associated with poorer PSS(hazard ratio[HR]=8.52,95%confidence interval[CI]:1.42–51.25,P=0.02).Pathological T3 stage was not significantly associated with PSS or OS in our *** node invasion and extracapsular extension might be associated with worse PSS(HR=20.30,95%CI:1.22–336.38,P=0.04;and HR=7.29,95%CI:1.22–43.64,P=0.03,respectively).Different surgical approaches(open,laparoscopic,or robotic-assisted)had similar outcomes in terms of PSS and *** conclusion,we report the longest timespan follow-up of Chinese PCa patients after RP with different approaches.

Realization of Kondo lattice in superconducting van der Waals materials not only provides a unique opportunity for tuning the Kondo lattice behavior by electrical gating or intercalation,but also is helpful for further understanding the heavy fermion *** we report a low-temperature and vector-magneticfield scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy study on a superconducting compound(4Hb-TaS_(2))with alternate stacking of 1T-TaS_(2)and 1H-TaS_(2)*** observe the quasi-two-dimensional superconductivity in the 1H-TaS_(2)layer with anisotropic response to the in-plane and out-of-plane magnetic *** the 1T-TaS_(2)layer,we detect the Kondo resonance peak that results from the Kondo screening of the unpaired electrons in the Star-of-David *** also find that the intensity of the Kondo resonance peak is sensitive to its relative position with the Fermi level,and it can be significantly enhanced when it is further shifted towards the Fermi level by evaporating Pb atoms onto the 1T-TaS_(2)*** results not only are important for fully understanding the electronic properties of 4Hb-TaS_(2),but also pave the way for creating tunable Kondo lattice in the superconducting van der Waals materials.
