To further detem3ine the fouling behavior of bovine serum albumin （BSA） on different hydrophilic PVDF ultrafiltration （UF） membranes over a range of pH values, self-made atomic force microscopy （AFM） colloidal probes were used to detect the adhesion forces of membrane-BSA and BSA BSA, respectively. Results showed that the membrane-BSA adhesion interaction was stronger than the BSA-BSA adhesion interaction, and the adhesion force between BSA-BSA-fouled PVDF/PVA membranes was similar to that between BSA-BSA-fouled PVDF/PVP membranes, which indicated that the fouling was mainly caused by the adhesion interaction between membrane and BSA. At the same pH condition, the PVDF/PVA membrane-BSA adhesion force was smaller than that of PVDF/ PVP membrane-BSA, which illustrated that the more hydrophilic the membrane was, the better antifouling ability it had. The extended Derjaguin-Landau-Verwey Overbeek （XDLVO） theory predicts that the polar or Lewis acid-base （AB） interaction played a dominant role in the interracial free energy ofmcmbrane-BSA and BSA BSA that can be affected by pH. For the same membrane, the pH values of a BSA solution can have a significant impact on the process of membrane fouling by changing the AB component of free energy.

The chemokine receptor CCR5 is a main and necessary co-receptor for which HIV can recognize and enter the cells,and has been identified as a potential new target for the design of new anti-HIV therapeutic *** active CCR5 inhibitors can prevent HIV-1 from entering target cells and block the process of *** this study,HQSAR and Topomer Co MFA methods were used to establish QSAR models for 75 1-(3,3-diphenylpropyl)-piperidinyl and urea derivatives,and cross-validation and non-cross-validation were performed on the generated *** models with good statistical parameters and reliable prediction capabilities are obtained:(Topomer Co MFA:q2 = 0.687,r2 = 0.868,r2 pred = 0.623;HQSAR:q2 = 0.781,r2 = 0.921,r2 pred = 0.636).Contour maps and color code maps provide a lot of useful information for determining structural requirements that affect *** search technology was used for virtual screening and molecular ***-dock method and ADMET technology were used to conduct molecular docking,oral bioavailability and toxicity prediction of the designed drug *** showed that A/ASN425,A/GLY198 and A/TRP427 may be the potential active residues of CCR5 inhibitors evaluated in this study,with 40 newly designed 1-(3,3-diphenylpropyl)-piperidinyl and urea derivatives which have the main ADMET properties and can be used as a reliable anti-HIV *** results provide a certain theoretical basis for the experimental verification of new compounds in the future.

Highly ordered Bi4Si3O12 micro-crystals were prepared at normal atmosphere. Phase identification of the prepared crystals was accomplished by X-ray diffractometer (XRD). Domain structure and defects were characterized by environmental scanning electron microscopy (ESEM). XRD shows that the obtained micro-crystals are of eulytite structure with chemical formulation of Bi4Si3O12. A highly ordered growth pattern is confirmed due to the faster growth of the {124} faces than that of the {204} faces by ESEM. The growing process of the domain structure is of pollen parent and filial generation pattern. The filial generations of Bi4Si3O12 crystals are generated from the pollen parent. Cracks generate from the defect areas and propagate along the {124} faces due to their lower binding energy under a proper temperature gradient, contributing to the total transcrystalline fracture. It is confirmed that the generation and development of the voids in the crystal grains can be developed when unmatched dimensions of the two opposite faces are formed. And the development of the voids is dependent on the dimensions and orientations of the two opposite faces.

Solvent-free nanofluids hold promise for many technologically significant *** liquid-like behavior,a typical rheological property of solvent-free nanofluids,has aroused considerable ***,there has been still lack of efficient methods to predict and control the liquid-like behavior of solvent-free *** this paper,we propose a semi-discrete dynamic system with stochastic excitation describing the temperature change effects on the rheological property of multiwall carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs)modified by grafting sulfonic acid terminated organosilanes as corona and tertiary amine as canopy,which is a typical covalent-type solvent-free nanofluid *** vibration of the grafting branches is simulated by employing a structure-preserving approach,and the shear force of grafting branches at the fixed end is computed *** taking the shear forces as an excitation acting on the MWCNTs,the axial motion of the MWCNTs is solved with the 7-point Gauss-Kronrod quadrature *** critical temperature associated with the appearance of the liquid-like behavior as well as the upper bound of the moving speed of the modified MWCNTs is determined,which can be used to predict and control the liquid-like behavior of the modified MWCNTs in engineering applications.

JNK1 is a drug target for the treatment of type 2 diabetes,and it plays a key mediator role in metabolic *** this paper,holographic quantitative structure-activity relationship(HQSAR)technology and Topomer comparative molecular field analysis(Topomer CoMFA)technology are used to analyze the quantitative structure-activity relationship(QSAR)of 39 isoquinolone *** cross validation correlation coefficient(q^(2))is 0.696(Topomer CoMFA)and 0.826(HQSAR),and the non-cross validation correlation coefficient(r^(2))is 0.935(Topomer CoMFA)and 0.987(HQSAR).The results showed that the models have good stability and predictive *** Topomer search module was applied to define high contribution fragments in the ZINC database,designing 20 new isoquinolone compounds with theoretically high inhibitory *** molecular docking was carried out to explore the interaction between the ligand and target JNK1 *** study can provide a theoretical basis for the design of new JNK1 inhibitors.

A microwatt asynchronous successive approximation register （SAR） analog-to-digital converter （ADC） is presented. The supply voltage of the SAR ADC is decreased to 0.6 V to fit the low voltage and low power require- ments of biomedical systems. The tail capacitor of the DAC array is reused for least significant bit conversion to decrease the total DAC capacitance thus reducing the power. Asynchronous control logic avoids the high frequency clock generator and further reduces the power consumption. The prototype ADC is fabricated with a standard 0.18 μm CMOS technology. Experimental results show that it achieves an ENOB of 8.3 bit at a 300-kS/s sampling rate. Very low power consumption of 3.04 μW is achieved, resulting in a figure of merit of 32 fJ/conv.-step.

Combined bodies of rock-like material and rock are widely encountered in geotechnical engineering,such as tunnels and *** existing theoretical models describing the stress-strain relationship of a combined body lack a binary *** on effective medium theory,this paper presents the governing equation of the“elastic modulus”for combined and single bodies under triaxial compressive tests.A binary effective medium model is then *** on the compressive experiment of concretegranite combined bodies,the feasibility of determining the stress threshold based on crack axial strain is discussed,and the model is *** model is further extended to coal-rock combined bodies of more diverse types,and the variation laws of the compressive mechanical parameters are then *** results show that the fitting accuracy of the model with the experimental curves of the concretegranite combined bodies and various types of coal-rock combined bodies are over 95%.The crack axial strain method can replace the crack volumetric strain method,which clarifies the physical meanings of the model *** variation laws of matrix parameters and crack parameters are discussed in depth and are expected to be more widely used in geotechnical engineering.

OBJECTIVE:To study the effects of rutin on serum glucose and lipid levels in hyperglycemic ***:Male Wistar rats were subjected to intraperitoneal streptozotocin injections and a high-sugar,high-fat diet to establish a hyperglycemic and hyperlipidemic *** model was considered to be successfully established in rats with fasting blood sugar(FBS)≥11.1 mmol/*** study included 6 groups with 10 rats each:a blank control group,a model group,a metformin group,and groups on large,medium and small doses of *** groups received intraperitoneal streptozotocin or normal saline for 21 ***,serum lipids,serum insulin,insulin sensitivity index(ISI),and levels of catalase(CAT),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px),superoxide dismutase(SOD)and malondialdehyde(MDA)levels were evaluated in all *** tissue samples were harvested to observe structural changes in islet ***:Large,medium,and small doses of rutin were associated with significantly reduced FBS(P<0.05),and increased levels of ISI,CAT,GSH-Px and SOD,as well as decreased MDA(P<0.05).Rutin administration was also related with reduced total cholesterol,triglycerides and low density lipoprotein chesterol,as well as increased high density lipoprotein chesterol(P<0.05).Histologic evaluation revealed rutin induced repair of damaged islet ***:In diabetic rat models,rutin can significantly reduce FBS and blood lipids,improve anti-oxidant activity,increase insulin sensitivity,and induce repair of damaged islet cells.
