This paper uses the density functional theory to analyse the stabilities, bond characters, static linear polarisabilities, and aromaticities of the ＇in-out＇ isomerism Hn-60@CnH60 （n = 70, 72, 74）. The binding energies, C H bond energies, and energy gaps explore that the ＇in-out＇ isometric perhydrogenation of Cn （n = 70, 72, 74） can remarkably improve the stabilities. The static linear polarisabilies of Hn 60@CnH60 （n = 70, 72, 74） are indeed relative to their shapes, while they show almost nonaromatic character. This study can suggest that the ＇in-out＇ isometric perhydrogenation of fullerenes could lead to the invention of entirely novel potential hydrogen storage nanomaterials.

Interval analysis is a new uncertainty analysis method for engineering structures. In this paper, a new sensitivity analysis method is presented by introducing interval analysis which can expand applications of the interval analysis method. The interval analysis process of sensitivity factor matrix of soil parameters is given. A method of parameter intervals and decision-making target intervals is given according to the interval analysis method. With FEM, secondary developments are done for Marc and the Duncan-Chang nonlinear elastic model. Mutual transfer between FORTRAN and Marc is implemented. With practial examples, rationality and feasibility are validated. Comparison is made with some published results.

The La-Sr-Mn-O films were deposited on Si（100） substrates by DC magnetron sputtering and followed by air annealing at 973 K for I h. The microstructure and temperature dependence of total hemispherical emittance （εH） of the annealed La-Sr-Mn-O films prepared at various processing parameters were investigated. The results indicated the films deposited at lower sputtering pressure and lower O2（O2＋Ar） volume proportion （R0） were present in rhombohedral .perovskite structure and the length of MnO bond was shorter. The metal-insulator transition temperature （TMI） was higher. All of the annealed films showed the unique feature of variable emittance based on metal-insulator transition. The films showed low emittance at low temperature but high emittance at high temperature. Moreover, the εH significantly changed in the vicinity of TMI. The variability of total hemispherical emittance （△ε） and the temperature range with obvious emittance change could be adjusted by changing the processing parameters. The Aε could be 0.45 and △ε/ε355 （ε355 is the εH at 355K） exceeded 50% for the annealed La-Sr-Mn-O films. Therefore, the annealed La-Sr-Mn-O films showed much potential for thermal control applications as smart thermochromic variable emittance materials.

The group decision making problem with linguistic pref- erence relations is studied. The concept of additive consistent linguistic preference relation is defined, and then some properties of the additive consistent linguistic preference relation are studied. In order to rank the alternatives in the group decision making with the linguistic preference relations, the weighted average is first utilized to combine the group linguistic preference relations to one linguistic preference relation, and then the transformation function is proposed to transform the linguistic preference relation to the multiplicative preference relation, and thus the Saaty＇s eigenvec- tor method （EM） of multiplicative preference relation is utilized to rank the alternatives in group decision making with the linguistic preference relations. Finally, an illustrative numerical example is given to verify the proposed method. A comparative study to the linguistic ordered weighted averaging （LOWA） operator method is also demonstrated.

New Approach to Cluster Synchronization in Complex Dynamical Networks

In this paper, a distributed control strategy is proposed to make a complex dynamical network achieve cluster synchronization, which means that nodes in the same group achieve the same synchronization state, while nodes in different groups achieve different synchronization states. The local and global stability of the cluster synchronization state are analyzed. Moreover, simulation results verify the effectiveness of the new approach.

The history of forecasting wind waves by wave energy conservation equation Is briefly described. Several currently used wave numerical models for shallow water based on different wave theories are discussed. Wave energy conservation models for the simulation of shallow water waves are introduced, with emphasis placed on the SWAN model, which takes use of the most advanced wave research achievements and has been applied to several theoretical and field conditions. The characteristics and applicability of the model, the finite difference numerical scheme of the action balance equation and its source terms computing methods are described in detail. The model has been verified with the propagation refraction numerical experiments for waves propagating in following and opposing currents; finally, the model is applied to the Haian Gulf area to simulate the wave height and wave period field there, and the results are compared with observed data.

Microstructural stability of NiO-containing spin valves annealed at room temperature

Microstructure of NiO-containing Co/Cu/Co spin valves （CCC-SV） annealed at room temperature for nearly four years has been studied by synchrotron radiation X-ray diffraction. With the annealing time expanding, the thickness of each sub-layer remains nearly unchanged while the interface roughness varies obviously compared with that of samples without annealing. The roughness at the interface of NiO/Co decreases with the annealing time increasing for both of the samples with NiO layer on the top （TSV） and under the bottom （BSV） of CCC-SV. On the other hand, the roughness at Co/Cu interface increases with the annealing time expanding for BSV while it decreases for TSV. These results indicate that the structure of TSV is more stable than that of BSV.

The open-cell Al foam core sandwiches（AFCSs） were successfully fabricated by using a specially designed Zn-Al-Cu based filler alloy via vibration aided liquid phase bonding *** effects of the vibration on the bonding seam were investigated and the bonding strength between Al foam core and solid Al alloy face sheet was tested by shearing *** results show that vibration can significantly improve the quality of the bonding and the shearing strength of the bonding seam,which implies that this joining method has a good potential in practical applications.
