Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)h ave attracted widespread attention due to their large surface area and porous *** designing the nanostructures of MOFs to promote their application in ethanol electrooxidation is still a ***,a novel Cu-NCNs(Cu-nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes)support was synthesized by pyrolysis of melamine(MEL)and Cu-ZIF-8 together,and then,Pd-Au nanoalloys were loaded by sodium borohydride reduction method to prepare PdAu@Cu-NCNs *** generating mesoporous carbon with high specific surface area and favorable electron and mass transport can be used as a potential excellent carrier for PdAu *** addition,the balance of catalyst composition and surface structure was tuned by controlling the content of Pd and ***,the best-performed Pd_(2)Au_(2)@Cu-NCN-1000-2(where 1000 means the carrier calcination temperature,and 2 means the calcination constant temperature time)catalyst exhibits better long-term stability and electrochemical activity for ethanol oxidation in alkaline media(4.80 A·mg^(-1)),which is 5.05 times higher than that of commercial Pd/C(0.95 A·mg^(-1)).Therefore,this work is beneficial to further promoting the application of MOFs in direct ethanol fuel cells(DEFCs)and can be used as inspiration for the design of more efficient catalyst support structures.

A parallel data generator for efficiently generating “realistic” social streams

A social stream refers to the data stream that records a series of social entities and the dynamic interac-tions between two entities. It can be employed to model the changes of entity states in numerous applications. The social streams, the combination of graph and streaming data, pose great challenge to efficient analytical query processing, and are key to better understanding users' behavior. Considering of privacy and other related issues, a social stream genera-tor is of great significance. A framework of synthetic social stream generator (SSG) is proposed in this paper. The gener-ated social streams using SSG can be tuned to capture sev-eral kinds of fundamental social stream properties, includ-ing patterns about users' behavior and graph patterns. Ex-tensive empirical studies with several real-life social stream data sets show that SSG can produce data that better fit to real data. It is also confirmed that SSG can generate social stream data continuously with stable throughput and memory consumption. Furthermore, we propose a parallel implemen-tation of SSG with the help of asynchronized parallel pro-cessing model and delayed update strategy. Our experiments verify that the throughput of the parallel implementation can increase linearly by increasing nodes.

The use of dead reckoning and fngerprint matching for navigation is a widespread technical ***,fngerprint mismatching and low fusion accuracy are prevalent issues in indoor navigation *** work presents an improved dynamic time warping and a chicken particle flter to handle these two *** generate the Horizontal and Vertical(HV)fngerprint,the pitch and roll are employed instead of the original fngerprint intensity to extract the horizontal and vertical components of the magnetic feld *** dynamic time warping employs the HV fngerprint in its derivative form,which receives higher-level features because of the consideration of fngerprint shape *** Swarm Optimization(CSO)is used to enhance particle weights,which minimizes position error to tackle the particle impoverishment problem for a fusion navigation *** results of the experiments suggest that the enhanced algorithm can improve indoor navigation accuracy signifcantly.

PID Pan-Boolean algebra control

Single input single output system was studied. With proportion, differential, integral results of deviation between given input and output as controller input, the logic rules in control process was analyzed, these logic rule with Pan-Boolean algebra was described, therefore a PID Pan-Boolean algebra control algorithm was obtained. The simulation results indicates that the new control algorithm is more effective compared to the traditional PID algorithm, having advantages such as more than 3 adjustable parameters of controllers, better result, and so on.

Mass transfer between bubbles and the dense phasein gas fluidized beds

Mass transfer between a bubble and the dense phase in gas fluidized beds of Group A and Group B particles was proposed based on previous experimental results and literature data. The mass transfer coefficient between bubbles and the dense phase was determined by kbe = 0.21 db. A theoretical analysis of the mass transfer coefficient between a bubble and the dense phase using diffusion equations showed that the mass transfer coefficient between a bubble and the dense phase is kbe α εmf√ub/db in both three- and two-dimensional fiuidized beds. An effective diffusion coefficient in gas fluidized beds was introduced and correlated with bubble size as De = 13.3db2.7 for Group A and Group B particles. The mass transfer coefficient kbe can then be expressed as kbe = 0.492εmf√ubdb1.7 for bubbles in a three-dimensional bed and kbe = 0.576εm√ubdb1.7 for bubbles in a two-dimensional bed.

Organic sensitizers with different thiophene units as conjugated bridges:molecular engineering and photovoltaics

Three structural modifications with incorporation of alkyl,alkoxy and vinyl bond into the skeleton of thiophene bridge in D-π-A featured organic sensitizers are specifically developed for insight into their influences on photophysical,electrochemical as well as photovoltaic properties in nanocrystalline TiO_2-based dye sensitized solar cells(DSSCs).The insertion of vinyl bond into the conjugation bridge leads to the molecular planar configuration,and the conjugation bridge of 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene(EDOT)is prone to positively shift its highest occupied molecular orbital(HOMO).The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)results indicate that the grafted long alkyl chain onto thiophene is favorable to suppress dye aggregation when adsorbed onto TiO_2film and modification on interface of TiO_2/dye/electrolyte,resulting in a relatively high open-circuit voltage(V_(oc)).Under optimized conditions,dye LS-4 bearing hexylthiophene as the conjugation bridge shows a relatively high overall conversion efficiency of5.45%,with a photocurrent of 11.61 mA cm^(-2),V_(oc)of 744 mV.

By means of the classical symmetry method, a hyperbolic Monge-Ampere equa- tion is investigated. The symmetry group is studied and its corresponding group invariant solutions are constructed. Based on the associated vector of the obtained symmetry, the authors construct the group-invariant optimal system of the hyperbolic Monge-Ampere equation, from which two interesting classes of solutions to the hyperbolic Monge-Ampere equation are obtained successfully.

STAGED PROGRESSION MODEL FOR EPIDEMIC SPREAD ON HOMOGENEOUS AND HETEROGENEOUS NETWORKS

In this paper, epidemic spread with the staged progression model on homogeneous and heterogeneous networks is studied. First, the epidemic threshold of the simple staged progression model is given. Then the staged progression model with birth and death is also considered. The case where infectivity is a nonlinear function of the nodes＇ degree is discussed, too. Finally, the analytical results are verified by numerical simulations.

A quantitative evaluation of the factors influencing the air-sea carbon dioxide transfer velocity

The numerous factors influencing the air-sea carbon dioxide（CO_2） transfer velocity have been discussed for many years, yet the contributions of various factors have undergone little quantitative estimation. To better understand the mechanism of air-sea transfer, the effects of different factors are discussed on the air-sea transfer velocity and the various parametric models describing the phenomenon are classified and ***, based on GAS EX-98 and ASGAMAGE data, wind models are evaluated and the effects of some factors are discussed quantitatively, including bubbles, waves, wind and so on by considering their interaction through a piecewise average approach. It is found that the air-sea CO_2 transfer velocity is not only the function of the wind speed, but is also affected by bubbles, wave parameters and other factors. Stepwise and linear regressions are used. When considering the wind speed, bubbles mediated and the significant wave height, the root mean square error is reduced from 34.53 cm/h to 16.96 cm/h. Discussing the various factors quantitatively can be useful in future assessments of a large spatial scale and long-term air-sea CO_2 flux and global change.
