The high prevalence of diabetes has become a major public health issue worldwide[1], particularly in middle-and low-income countries[2]. The prevalence of diabetes in China, the largest developing country,has more than quadrupled in recent decades, and many cases of diabetes are undiagnosed[3]. The problem with missed diabetes diagnoses is a challenge faced both by China and the rest of the world[4].

CuMn mixed oxides catalysts doped with La were prepared following a co-precipitation method and used for the catalytic oxidation of toluene. Catalysts properties of the catalysts were investigated by X-ray diffraction, N_2 adsorption/desorption,scanning electron microscopy, H_2-temperature-programmed reduction(H_2-TPR), O_2-temperature-programmed desorption(O_2-TPD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy techniques. Characterization data reveal that the phase change and decrease in crystallinity of the La-doped catalysts increase the number of oxygen vacancies. Improvements in reducibility and an increase in the amount of chemisorbed oxygen of the La-doped catalysts were also verified by H_2-TPR and O_2-TPD. The activity of the CuMn mixed oxides catalysts is significantly improved by the addition of a nominal amount of La. The CuMn/La-4 mol% catalyst exhibits the best catalytic activity, with a 90%conversion temperature of 255 ℃,attributed to a high Mn^(3+)ratio, superficial chemisorbed oxygen,and high surface area. This study indicates La to be a promising dopant for Cu-Mn catalysts toward toluene oxidation.

Gasification of organic waste represents one of the most effective valorization pathways for renewable energy and resources recovery,while this process can be affected by multi-factors like temperature,feedstock,and steam content,making the product’s prediction *** the popularization and promotion of artificial intelligence such as machine learning(ML),traditional artificial neural networks have been paid more attention by researchers from the data science field,which provides scientific and engineering communities with flexible and rapid prediction frameworks in the field of organic waste *** this work,critical parameters including temperature,steam ratio,and feedstock during gasification of organic waste were reviewed in three scenarios including steam gasification,air gasification,and oxygen-riched gasification,and the product distribution and involved mechanism were ***,we presented the details of ML methods like regression analysis,artificial neural networks,decision trees,and related methods,which are expected to revolutionize data analysis and modeling of the gasification of organic *** outputs including the syngas yield,composition,and HHVs were discussed with a better understanding of the gasification process and ML *** review focused on the combination of gasification and ML,and it is of immediate significance for the resource and energy utilization of organic waste.

Background： Acute fatty liver of pregnancy （AFLP） is a rare but life-threatening complication occurring in the third trimester. It is often fatal to both mother and fetus. The complicated clinical manifestations as well as an insufficient understanding of the disease make the precise diagnosis and effective treatment of AF LP challenging. A full understanding of the risk factors, clinical features, and test findings of AFLP is critical for its timely diagnosis and treatment. Methods： We performed a retrospective study of 56 patients with AFLP between June 2008 and July 2013. We analyzed the clinical features, laboratory results, perioperative management, and patient outcomes. Results： The initial symptoms varied considerably, with nausea and vomiting （13/56, 23%） being the most common. Liver-function indexes were remarkable, including elevated levels of serum alanine aminotransferase （262.16 ± 281.71 U/L）, aspartate aminotransferase （260.98 ± 237.91 U/L）, lactic dehydrogenase （1011.76 ± 530.34 U/L）, and direct bilirubin （85.59 ± 90.02 μmol/L）. Coagulation disorders were indicated by abnormal levels offibrinogen （245.95 ± 186.11 mg/dL）, D-dimer （2.46 ±4.01 mg/L）, and fibrin degradation products （43.62 ±48.71 mg/L）. The main maternal complications were hypoproteinemia （75%）, coagulopathy （54%）, and acute renal failure （39%）. Multivariate logistic regression analysis identified prothrombin time （PT; odds ratio [OR] = 1.558, 95% confidence interval [CI] =1.248-1.946, P= 0.016） and international normalized ratio （INR; OR = 40.034, 95% CI= 2.517-636.693, P = 0.009） as risk factors. The perinatal infant death rate was related to gestational age at delivery （OR = 1.298, 95% CI- 1.040-1.618, P = 0.021）, direct bilirubin （OR = 1.05, 95% CI = 1.008 1.094, P = 0.020）, and fibrin degradation products （OR - 0.973, 95% CI = 0.950 0.996, P= 0.021）.
