In order to provide data and technical support for the government’s decision to make full use of water resources, the Grey-Markov model is used to forecast the gross amount of water resources of Haihe River Basin in a given year. The grey-markov model is introduced in detail in this paper, which including determination of state, calculation of state transfer probability, establishment prediction table, calculation of forecasting value and so on. The gross amount of water resources of Haihe River Basin in 2011 is forecasted based on grey-markov model by using the historical data from 2008 to 2010, and predicted to be 21.7 billion m3 , and range from 16.1 to 22.7 billion m3 , which belongs to poor water resources year. The gross amount of water resources state of Haihe River Basin has the trend of decreasing year by year. The government should pay much more attention to rational utilization of water resources. Therefore, it is vitally significant to forecast the gross amount of water resources for a long-term and take measures to make full use of water resources.

Spermatozoid life-span of two brown seaweeds, Saccharina japonica and Undaria pinnatifida, as measured by fertilization efficiency

During sexual reproduction of seaweeds, spermatozoid (sperm) discharge is triggered by chemical messengers (pheromones) released by the female gametes. The chemotactic ability of the sperm ensures fertilization success. Using unialgal male and female gametophyte material under designated standard gametogenesis testing (SGT) conditions, the potential life-span of the sperm of two seaweeds, Saccharina japonica and Undaria pinnatifida, was assessed by their ability to fertilize eggs. Results show that within 20-30 min after being discharged, sperm of both species could complete fertilization without an apparent decline in fertilization rate. Although fertilization rate 60-120 min after sperm discharge dropped significantly in both species, some sperm were viable enough to fertilize the eggs. In ***, at 12°C, some sperm were able to fertilize eggs up to 12 h after discharge. In both species, egg discharge rates (EDR) in the male and female mixed positive controls were significantly higher than those of all the sperm-testing groups. Doubling the seeded male gametophytes of S. japonica in the SGT tests significantly increased the EDR, further confirming the effect of the presence of the male on the female in terms of facilitating egg discharge from oogonia.

High-throughput measurements of ciprofloxacin, clomipramine and fexofenadine hydrochlorides with an 8-channel electrical titrator

High-throughput measurements of ciprofloxacin, clomipramine and fexofenadine hydrochlorides were performed by employing an automatic 8-channel electrical titrator. Silver nitrate （AgNO3） and sodium tetraphenylborate （NaTPB） were used as titrants. When AgNO3 was used for measuring the drugs in pure form, recoveries were 97.6%-102.0% with RSD values ≤1.0%; for measuring them in pharmaceutical formulations, recoveries were 96.6%-99.1% with RSD values ≤1.0%. Batch samples of eight could be measured simultaneously and maximally 30 measurements per minute could be completed. When NaTPB was used for measuring the drugs in pure form, the recoveries were 96.8%-102.6% with RSD values 〈0.8%; for measuring them in pharmaceutical formulations, the recoveries were 97.5%-102.7% with RSD values ≤0.9%. For all analyses, no auxiliary devices or chemicals were needed and there was no requirement for changing or cleaning working electrodes between measurements. The efficiency, accuracy and precision of the proposed method make it an alternative for routine quality control analyses.

放牧对土壤物理特性的影响至关重要.为了研究放牧对土壤物理特性的影响,在内蒙古荒漠草原上开展了不同绵羊载畜率放牧试验.试验采取完全随机区组设计,设置4个不同载畜率处理,3次重复.4个处理分别是对照(CK)、轻度放牧(LG)、中度放牧(MG)和重度放牧(HG),相应的载畜率分别是0,0.15,0.30和0.45只羊/(公顷.月).放牧时间为每年6月-11月.从2004年到2006年的放牧期间,每月测定一次土壤含水量和土壤容重,土壤紧实度和机械组成每年秋季测定一次.通过对测定数据的分析表明,土壤表层(0-10cm)的含水量从对照到轻度放牧显著(p0.05),但土壤紧实度随载畜率的增加显著(p<0.05)增大.中度和重度放牧显著降低了土壤黏粒的含量(p<0.05).重度放牧加快了草地土壤水分的损失,进而增加了土壤的紧实度,使草地土壤发生退化.载畜率和土壤水分是影响荒漠草原可持续管理的关键因子,轻度载畜率是实现草地的可持续发展的最适宜载畜率.

Morphological Variation of Coilia Mystus （Clupeiformes： Engraulidae） in Three Chinese Estuaries

Truss network data were collected and investigated in order to clarify the morphological variation in populations of Coilia mystus from three Chinese estuaries. Nineteen morphometric measurements were made for each individual, and Burnaby＇s multivariate method was used to obtain size-adjusted shape data. The cluster analysis and discriminant analysis were used to discriminate morphological differences among populations. The results indicated that 1） the three populations were clustered into two distinct groups： the first group included Changiiang C. mystus and Zhujiang C. mystus, the last one included Minjiang C. mystus, and 2） discriminant analysis with selected 5 morphological parameters showed that the identification accuracy was between 98.7952% and 100%, and global identification accuracy was 99.2933%. Reproductive isolation and adaption to environmental condition are determinant factors for morphological variation between populations of C. mystus.

Feed-animal balance is the key technique on the grassland ecosystem management,and attracts widespread attention in the *** studies have been conducted by former researchers,and most of their efforts were intended to keep the balance of ***,there are still much more issue needed to be studied in details on the face of grassland degeneration and animal husbandry sustainable *** author analyzed the feed-animal balance research progress,including the concept of stocking rate and its practical management techniques,especially on the stocking rate calculation *** addition,the social and economy effects on feed-animal balance were also discussed during the progress of improving the development of pastoral *** order to achieve feed-animal balance more effectively,it was concluded that the focus must be shift from only on animal number to the grassland quality,and it's necessary to strengthen market tax control.
