Utilizing a range of techniques including multi-band light curves,softness ratio analysis,structure functions,rms spectra,cross-correlation functions,and ratios of spectra from different intervals,we present a comprehensive study of the complex X-ray spectral variability in Seyfert 1 galaxy Ark 120,through re-analyzing its six XMM-Newton observations taken between 2003 and *** find a clear“softer-when-brighter”trend in the 2–10 ke V power-law component over long timescales,with this trend being timescale dependent,as it is much weaker on shorter timescales,similar to that previously detected in NGC ***,a rare“harder-when-brighter”trend is observed during one exposure,indicating dynamic changes in the spectral variability behavior of the power-law *** exceptional exposure,with the spectral variability indeed marked by a power-law pivoting at an unusually low energy of～2 ke V,suggests intricate variations in the thermal Comptonization processes within the ***,when the data below 2 ke V are included,we identify that the soft excess component adds significant complexity to the spectral variability,such as evidenced by a transition from“harder-when-brighter”to“softer-when-brighter”during another single *** extra complexity arises because the variability of the soft excess sometimes follows and sometimes does not follow the changes in the power-law *** findings underscore the necessity of applying multiple analytic techniques to fully capture the multifaceted spectral variability of AGNs.

Neuronal soma segmentation plays a crucial role in neuroscience applications. However, the fine structure, such as boundaries, small-volume neuronal somata and fibers, are commonly present in cell images, which pose a challenge for accurate segmentation. In this paper, we propose a 3D semantic segmentation network for neuronal soma segmentation to address this issue. Using an encoding-decoding structure, we introduce a Multi-Scale feature extraction and Adaptive Weighting fusion module (MSAW) after each encoding block. The MSAW module can not only emphasize the fine structures via an upsampling strategy, but also provide pixel-wise weights to measure the importance of the multi-scale features. Additionally, a dynamic convolution instead of normal convolution is employed to better adapt the network to input data with different distributions. The proposed MSAW-based semantic segmentation network (MSAW-Net) was evaluated on three neuronal soma images from mouse brain and one neuronal soma image from macaque brain, demonstrating the efficiency of the proposed method. It achieved an F1 score of 91.8% on Fezf2-2A-CreER dataset, 97.1% on LSL-H2B-GFP dataset, 82.8% on Thy1-EGFP-Mline dataset, and 86.9% on macaque dataset, achieving improvements over the 3D U-Net model by 3.1%, 3.3%, 3.9%, and 2.3%, respectively.

Rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)exhibit appreciable potential in the domain of electrochemical energy ***,there are serious challenges for AZIBs,for instance zinc dendrite growth,hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),and corrosion side ***,we propose a surface engineering modification strategy for coating the montmorillonite(MMT)layer onto the surface of the Zn anode to tackle these issues,thereby achieving high cycling stability for rechargeable *** results reveal that the MMT layer on the surface of the Zn anode is able to provide ordered zincophilic channels for zinc ions migration,facilitating the reaction kinetics of zinc *** functional theory(DFT)calculations and water contact angle(CA)tests prove that MMT@Zn anode exhibits superior adsorption capacity for Zn^(2+)and better hydrophobicity than the bare Zn anode,thereby achieving excellent cycling ***,the MMT@Zn||MMT@Zn symmetric cell holds the stable cycling over 5600 h at 0.5 mA cm^(-2)and 0.125 m A h cm^(-2),even exceeding 1800 h long cycling under harsh conditions of 5 m A cm^(-2)and 1.25 m A h cm^(-2).The MMT@Zn||V_(2)O_(5)full cell reaches over 3000 cycles at 2 A g^(-1)with excellent rate ***,this surface engineering modification strategy for enhancing the electrochemical performance of AZIBs represents a promising application.

Strain rate and cold rolling dependence of tensile strength and ductility in high nitrogen nickel-free austenitic stainless steel

The tensile strength and ductility of a high nitrogen nickel-free austenitic stainless steel with solution and cold rolling treatment were investigated by performing tensile tests at different strain rates and at room temperature. The tensile tests demonstrated that this steel exhibits a significant strain rate and cold rolling dependence of the tensile strength and *** the increase of the strain rate from 10^-4s^-1to 1 s^-1, the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength increase and the uniform elongation and total elongation decrease. The analysis of the double logarithmic stress–strain curves showed that this steel exhibits a two-stage strain hardening behavior, which can be well examined and analyzed by using the Ludwigson equation. The strain hardening exponents at low and high strain regions（n2and n1） and the transition strain（εL） decrease with increasing strain rate and the increase of cold rolling RA. Based on the analysis results of the stress–strain curves, the transmission electron microscopy characterization of the microstructure and the scanning electron microscopy observation of the deformation surfaces, the significant strain rate and cold rolling dependence of the strength and ductility of this steel were discussed and connected with the variation in the work hardening and dislocation activity with strain rate and cold rolling.

The EHL-2 spherical torus is designed to demonstrate proton-boron(p-11B) fusion within a compact spherical *** planned heating system includes a negative ion-based neutral beam injection（N-NBI）,two positive ion-based NBI systems（P-NBI）,electron cyclotron resonance heating（ECRH）,ion cyclotron resonance heating（ICRH）,and high harmonic fast wave（HHFW）,with a total power output of 31 *** to scaling law estimates,the device is capable of achieving H-mode *** plasma density,ne,min,at the minimum LH power threshold,PLH,is estimated to be 4.4× *** pedestal parameters were calculated using the REPED *** B as the primary impurity ion,the predicted pedestal width and height are lower compared to the typical case with carbon *** pedestal collisionality for EHL-2 is estimated to range between 0.06 and 0.17,indicating the potential for significant energy loss due to edge localized modes（ELMs）.The heat flux on the divertor plate has been calculated using the JOREK *** peak heat fluxes during ELM bursts are approximately 31.0 MW/m2at the lower inboard target and 39.5 MW/m2at the lower outboard target.A preliminary design of the resonant magnetic perturbation（RMP） coils has been completed to both control type-Ⅰ ELMs and correct error *** system comprises 16coils arranged into 2×4 *** ELM control mode,a 14/2 component is generated at 1.7 G/kAt,with a current of 4.9 kA required to achieve σChirikov=1 at the resonant surface,where the normalized poloidal magnetic flux is *** error field（EF） modulation mode,2/1 and 3/1components are generated at 3.5 G/kAt and 2.8 G/kAt,respectively.

Quantum interferometric power(IP), a discordlike measure, plays an important role in quantum metrology. We study the dynamics of IP for two-qubit X-shape states under different noisy environments. Our study shows that IP exhibits sudden change, and one side quantum channel is enough for the occurrence of a sudden change of IP. In particular, we show that the initial state having no sudden change of quantum discord exhibits a sudden change of IP under the dynamics of amplitude noise, but the converse is not true. Besides, we also investigate the dynamics of IP under two different kinds of composite noises. Our results also confirm that sudden change of IP occurs under such composite noises.

运用磁电导效应（MC）方法研究了高温环境下基于TBRb/C60结构的OLED的激基复合物演化过程.首次在室温下直接观测到源于器件内部激基复合物EX1←EX3过程的反向系间窜跃（RISC）.该器件具备半带隙开启特性.原位加热器件至400 K,发现MC特征线型由RISC变为三重态激子-电荷湮灭（TQA）这一奇特现象.通过综合分析器件的MC曲线、电流-电压特性曲线、瞬态电致发光光谱和光学显微镜图像以及TBRb薄膜的原子力显微镜图像,我们发现温度的升高破坏了有机材料的分子结构,导致组成OLED的有机薄膜内产生许多陷阱.这些陷阱将捕获极化子对、EX和激子态,然后影响它们的相互作用,最终导致MC迹线的变化.这项工作加深了我们对高温环境下TBRb/C60平面异质结器件内部复杂的演化过程的物理机制的理解,还为研究高温环境下OLED的微观机制提供了一种新方法.
