Magma Evolution Processes in the Southern Okinawa Trough:Insights from Melt Inclusions

The results from both the field measurements and numerical simulation were reported to comprehensively analyze the sediment siltation in the upper reach of the Deepwater navigation Channel Project in the Yangtze Estuary after the project has been implemented. In this research, firstly some basic information about the river evolution in the Yangtze Estuary is analyzed, including the variations of water depths in the Hengsha Passage and the inlet cross-sections of the North Passage and the South Passage, and changes of diversion ratios of ebb flow and sediment flux in the North Passage and the South Passage, Then the Delfl3D-FLOW model is applied to simulate the hydrodynamics and sediment transport in the Yangtze Estuary. This model has been calibrated and the simulated results agree well with the measured data of the tidal levels, flow velocities and suspended sediment concentration （SSC）, indicating that the model can well simulate the hydrodynamics and sediment transport of the Yangtze Estuary caused by the Deepwater navigation Channel Project. The research results show that the development of the Hengsha Passage and decrease of diversion ratio of ebb flow and sediment flux in the North Passage are the main reasons of sediment siltation in the upper reach of the Deepwater navigation Channel in the Yangtze Estuary.

This study focuses on the collapsing gullies in tuffaceous sandstone area and investigates the slope di-rection and morphological characteristics of the main and branch gullies. Furthermore, we assess the structural characteristics of the rock joints within this area, including their strike, dip direction and dip angle. The results show that there are 405 collapsing gullies in the study area. The slope directions associated with collapsing gullies and the directions of the main gullies largely fall within the ranges of NE20°-NE90°, SE90°-SE160°, SW240°-SW270°, and NW270°-NW290°. The collapsing gullies include 1103 branch gullies in total, most of which have directions that fall within the ranges of NE20°-NE40°, NE50°-NE70°, NW280°-NW300°, and NW330°-NW350°. The joints in the bedrock are directional and regional, and they can be divided into two main groups. The number of southward dip directions is greater than the number of northward dip directions, and most of the measured dip angles are greater than 60°. The mean dip angle is greatest for joints with measured strike values of NW280°-NW290°, with a value of 85.2°. The development of collapse gullies is affected by both the slope direction and joints. The slope direction determines the direction of the main gullies, with a correlation coefficient of 0.809 (Pdevelopment of the collapsing gullies, and the average depth of the gullies that parallel the dominant joint orientation is significantly larger than that of gullies with other directions. Moreover, the average depth of the gullies associated with the dip angle of 85.2° measured relative to the joint strike is 6.89 m, which is significantly greater than that associated with lower dip angles. Xylooligosaccharides(XOS)are mainly derived from lignocellulosic materials,such as rice husk,corn cobs,straw,wheat bran,wheat straw and other grain *** have become one of the functional oligosaccharides of great concern at home and abroad due to their beneficial functional properties,such as low calorie,high stability,poor digestibility and high performance in proliferating *** present,the XOS extraction methods from grain byproducts mainly include autohydrolysis,acidolysis and *** them,autohydrolysis has high requirements for equipment for achieving higher extraction rate and higher purity of products;and acidolysis can cause environmental pollution due to the usage of harmful *** is the most common method for the production of XOS because of its high convenience,high efficiency and no pollution;and the widely used enzyme is the xylanase from Aspergillus *** researches have showed that XOS can be utilized by probiotics such as Bifidobacteria and Lactobacillus to exert prebiotic effects,such as optimizing intestinal flora,promoting intestinal health,improving intestinal barrier,enhancing immune function,improving antioxidant capacity and so ***,XOS extracted from the grain byproducts contain a large amount of impurities,which limits their industrial application and makes it dif-ficult to control the product ***,XOS refining,separation and purification has become the key to their subsequent industrial *** paper reviewed the current status of XOS extraction technologies from various grain by-products,and also summarized the prebiotic effect of XOS to provide reference for industrial production of XOS and its wide application in prebiotics market,thereby facilitating utilization and development of grain byproducts.

The chemical binder is one of the critical factors affecting ore agglomeration behavior and leaching *** this study,we in-vestigated the effect of the type of binder and mass fraction of the H_(2)SO_(4)solution used on the curing,soaking,and leaching behavior of *** results revealed that Portland cement(3CaO·SiO_(2),2CaO·SiO_(2),and 3CaO·Al_(2)O_(3))was the optimal binder for obtaining a well-shaped,stable agglomeration structure.A higher extraction rate was achieved when using Portland cement than that obtained using sodi-um silicate,gypsum,or acid-proof *** excessive geometric mean size is not conducive to obtaining well-shaped agglomerations and desirable *** computed tomography(CT)and MATLAB,the porosity of two-dimensional CT images in sample concentrations L1-L3 was observed to increase at least 4.5vol%after acid *** agglomerations began to be heavily destroyed and even to disinteg-rate when the sulfuric acid solution concentration was higher than 30 g/L,which was caused by the excessive accumulation of reaction products and residuals.

In order to study the effect of minerals on biomass pyrolysis, experiments on pyrolysis of corn straw with different pretreatment methods were performed by using a thermogravimetric analyzer（TGA） coupled with a Fourier transform infrared （FTIR） spectrometer. The pretreatment methods included water washing and acid washing. The experimental results show that acid washing can remove almost all K^＋ and 78% of Ca^2＋ , while water washing only removes most of K ^＋. The existence of K^＋ and Ca^2＋ obviously favors the formation of compounds containing carbonyl groups and CO2 , but it will decrease the yields of compounds containing C-O-C groups. However, the formation of H2O, CO and CH4 are slightly affected by the removal of inorganic ions. With regard to the structure of the metal ions-adsorbed cellulose characterized by IR analysis, it can be considered that there is an ＂ion force＂ between metal ions and cellulosic biomass. The results of thermal kinetic analysis show that this force can make the reaction activation energy of the biomass pyrolysis decrease. A new mechanism is proposed for explaining the effect of inorganic ions on cellulose pyrolysis.
