Fructose consumption has risen dramatically in recent decades due to the use of sucrose and high fructose corn syrup in beverages and processed foods,contributing to rising rates of *** purpose of this experiment was to explore the anti-hyperuricemia effects of an active oligopeptide(GPSGRP)derived from sea cucumber in fructose induced hyperuricemia mouse model,and to clarify the underlying mechanism in sight of gut microbiota and serum *** GPSGRP treatment rebalanced uric acid metabolism and alleviated inflammatory response in *** addition,treatment with GPSGRP decreased the abundance of Bacteroides and Proteobacteria at the phylum level,Muribaculum,Prevotella and Bacteroides at the genus level,and inhibited the related pathways of purine metabolism and glycolysis/gluconeogenesis ***,serum metabolites,including linoleic acid,indole and its derivatives,arachidonic acid and uridine,as well as related metabolic pathways,such as tricarboxylic acid cycle,ketone production and sugar production,were altered in response to GPSGRP *** study provides a valuable reference for the application and development of marine biological peptides in uric acid management.

A reduction in adult neurogenesis is associated with behavioral abnormalities in patients with Alzheimer's ***,enhancing adult neurogenesis represents a promising therapeutic approach for mitigating disease symptoms and ***,nonpharmacological interventions aimed at inducing adult neurogenesis are currently *** individual non-pharmacological interventions,such as aerobic exercise,acousto-optic stimulation,and olfactory stimulation,have shown limited capacity to improve neurogenesis and cognitive function in patients with Alzheimer's disease,the therapeutic effect of a strategy that combines these interventions has not been fully *** this study,we observed an age-dependent decrease in adult neurogenesis and a concurrent increase in amyloid-beta accumulation in the hippocampus of amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 mice aged 2-8 *** deposition became evident at 4 months,while neurogenesis declined by 6 months,further deteriorating as the disease ***,following a 4-week multifactor stimulation protocol,which encompassed treadmill running(46 min/d,10 m/min,6 days per week),40 Hz acousto-optic stimulation(1 hour/day,6 days/week),and olfactory stimulation(1 hour/day,6 days/week),we found a significant increase in the number of newborn cells(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive cells),immature neurons(doublecortin-positive cells),newborn immature neurons(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive/doublecortin-positive cells),and newborn astrocytes(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive/glial fibrillary acidic protein-positive cells).Additionally,the amyloid-beta load in the hippocampus *** findings suggest that multifactor stimulation can enhance adult hippocampal neurogenesis and mitigate amyloid-beta neuropathology in amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 ***,cognitive abilities were improved,and depressive symptoms were alleviated in amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 mice

chalcogenide phase-change materials（PcMs） have attracted great attentions due to their potential applications in reconfigurable photonic devices. The Ge2Sb2Te5and GeTe PcMs exhibit significant difference in refractive index（Δn） between amorphous and crystalline states, but they suffer from high optical loss. The binary Sb2S3and Sb2Se3PcMs, however, show low optical loss but small Δn. This encourages us to develop the novel materials,which are desired to combine large Δn and low optical loss. Instead of traditional trial-and-error screening method, we here used an efficient high-throughput method to optimize the PcMs' candidates for reconfigurable photonic devices in Ge-Se-Te chalcogenides. The crystallization temperature and difference in optical bandgap were detected, and then the component of Ge25Se7Te68, which also exhibits ultralow optical loss of 1.2 × 10-6（in amorphous state） and large Δn of 1.32 at 1550 nm, was optimized. This Te-rich Ge-Se-Te film can be a candidate for the applications of programmable reconfigurable photonic circuits.

We report a dilemma produced by the infinity of a random walk moving along a two-dimensional space sidestep. For this random walk, our investigation shows that using a different model can lead to a different diffusion coefficient of the random walk, which is produced by the infinity of the random walk. The result obtained by us in the present work can serve as a warning to us when we build the models to investigate the corresponding scientific problems.

Effect of Network Size on collective Motion of Mean Field for a Globally coupled Map with Disorder

We investigate the effect of the network size （or the elements number） on the collective motion of the mean field for a globally coupled map with disorder. It is shown that, with the increasing network size, the collective motion of the mean field of the globally coupled map can be shrunk periodically. In the absence of disorder of in the presence of disorder while without the coupling, this phenomenon is absent. Our result means that disorder can make the globally coupled map tame itself for certain numbers of network size. In addition, we discuss the possible application of our result to the network for action potential wave block at-a-distance in the heart.

Enhancement of Resonant Activation by constant Bias current for Superconducting Junction

We consider a superconducting （Josephson） junction driven by the thermal noise with an ac drive current and a dc constant bias current in the overdamped case and in the underdamped case, respectively, and investigate the effect of the constant bias current on the evolution of the net voltage versus the driving frequency. It is shown that, with some suitably selected values of the system＇s parameters, suitably increasing the absolute value of the constant bias current can lead to the enhancement of resonant activation of the net voltage versus the driving frequency. This result can benefit the investigation for the Josephson junction subjected to the constant bias current （or voltage）.

In the paper, we investigate two motor proteins moving along the sidesteps： a motor protein moving along a two- dimensional sidestep and another protein moving along a three-dimensional sidestep. The drift coefficients （or stationary average velocities） of these two motor proteins are calculated. We believe that our investigation of the motor proteins moving along the sidesteps in the present paper can benefit the investigation of the transport of the motor proteins to some extent.

The complexes of [cu（bpy）（H2O）（cBA）2]n 1 and [cu（phen）（H2O）（cBA）2]·H2O 2 based on p-cyanobenzoic acid （HcBA） have been synthesized in aqueous ethanolic solution at room temperature. The single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies demonstrated that complex 1 crystallizes in orthorhombic and complex 2 is of triclinic system. The results indicate the complex 1 shows a 1D chain structure bridged bytwo carboxylic oxygen atoms from cBA–, and complex 2 is a mononuclear structure. Through intermolecular hydrogen bonding and π···π stacking interactions, the complexes are assembled into supramolecular *** 1 has been characterized by magnetic measurements. Themagnetic measurement indicates that weak ferromagnetic interaction （zJ＇ = 0.038（5）） between the cu^2＋ ions is dominant in the structure. The IR spectrum and results of thermal and elemental analyses are also presented.

Multi-Synchronization caused by Uniform Disorder for Globally coupled Maps

We investigate the motion of the globally coupled maps （logistic map） driven by uniform disorder. It is shown that this disorder can produce multi-synchronization for the globally coupled chaotic maps studied by us. The disorder determines the synchronized dynamics, leading to the emergence of a wide range of new collective behaviour in which the individual units in isolation are incapable of producing in the absence of the disorder. Our results imply that the disorder can tame the collective motion of the coupled chaotic maps.
