Lewis acid–base passivation is a significant technique to achieve structural stability of perovskite solar cells(PSCs) by overcoming the issues of wide grain boundaries, crystal defects, and the instability of PSCs. In this work, the combined effects of thiophene with phthalocyanine(Pc) as isomers(S2 and S3)on the photovoltaic performance of PSCs were studied for the first time. Through density functional theory calculations, we confirmed that the position of the S atom in the structure affects Lewis acid–base interactions with under-coordinated Pb^(2+) sites. The morphology of methylammonium lead iodide(MAPbI_(3)) for passivated devices was improved and thin dense layers with compact surface and large grain size were observed, leading to improvement of the charge extraction ability and reduction of non-radiative recombination and the trap density. A highest power conversion efficiency of 18% was achieved for the Pc S3 passivated device, which was 6.69% more than that of the controlled ***, the Pcs passivated devices demonstrated remarkable stability under high-moisture and high-temperature conditions.

In this paper,pristine cobalt(Ⅱ)phthalocyanine(CoPc)and non-peripheral octamethyl substituted CoPc(N-CoMe_(2)Pc)are the focus of electrochemical *** and N-CoMe_(2)Pc nanorods(NR)were synthesized by a facile precipitation process from sublimated bulk phthalocyanine powders and their electrochemical properties were *** to the large specific surface area,the capacitance performance of the nanorods was significantly higher than that of the sublimated powder sample.N-CoMe_(2)Pc powder exhibited better pseudocapacity compared with CoPc powder and CoPc NR,which is attributed to enhanced charge transfer rate and im-proved redox activity after the introduction of octamethyl substituents on phthalocyanine *** maximum specific capacitance value was achieved by N-CoMe_(2)Pc NR based electrode,exhibiting 210.2 F g^(-1) capacitance at 5 mV s^(-1) scan rate and 156.1 F g^(-1) at 0.25 A g^(-1) current density,and also showing high efficiency and satisfactory *** results indicate that according to proper molecular design,N-CoMe_(2)Pc NR could be applied as the potential candidate for electrode material in supercapacitors.

Doping plays an essential role in the properties of conducting *** thickness not only has a direct influence on their photoelectric properties,but also affects the doping ability,which may lead to the decline of capacitance and electrochromic properties caused by incomplete ***,it is essential to study the quantitative relationship between doping level and film thickness in ***,empirical formula between doping level and thickness was obtained by studying the spectroelectrochemistry behaviors of two different electrochromic materials,poly(N,N'-bis(3,5-(2-thienyl)-phenyl)-1,6,7,12-tetrachloroperylene-3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic diimide)(poly(Th-Cl-PBI))and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT).The doping level is verified to be correlated to the reciprocal of the 3^(rd)power of film *** results fit these formulas very well,giving correlation coefficient R^(2)higher than *** optical contrast prediction of these two electrochromic materials is also used to verify this relationship *** the first time,we quantitatively connect these two important parameters of conducting polymers,doping level and thickness.

Incorporation of intra-city human mobility into urban growth simulation:A case study in Beijing

The effective modeling of urban growth is crucial for urban planning and analyzing the causes of land-use *** urbanization has slowed down in most megacities,improved urban growth modeling with minor changes has become a crucial open issue for these *** existing models are based on stationary factors and spatial proximity,which are unlikely to depict spatial connectivity between *** research attempts to leverage the power of real-world human mobility and consider intra-city spatial interaction as an imperative driver in the context of urban growth ***,the gravity model,which considers both the scale and distance effects of geographical locations within cities,is employed to characterize the connection between land areas using individual trajectory data from a macro *** then becomes possible to integrate human mobility factors into a neural-network-based cellular automata(ANN-CA)for urban growth modeling in Beijing from 2013 to *** results indicate that the proposed model outperforms traditional models in terms of the overall accuracy with a 0.60%improvement in Cohen’s Kappa coefficient and a 0.41%improvement in the figure of *** addition,the improvements are even more significant in districts with strong relationships with the central area of *** example,we find that the Kappa coefficients in three districts(Chaoyang,Daxing,and Shunyi)are considerably higher by more than 2.00%,suggesting the possible existence of a positive link between intense human interaction and urban *** paper provides valuable insights into how fine-grained human mobility data can be integrated into urban growth simulation,helping us to better understand the human-land relationship.

Ferroelectric HfO_(2)has attracted much attention owing to its superior ferroelectricity at an ultra-thin thickness and good compatibility with Si-based complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor(CMOS)***,the crystallization of polar orthorhombic phase(o-phase)HfO_(2)is less competitive,which greatly limits the ferroelectricity of the as-obtained ferroelectric HfO_(2)thin ***,the crystallization of o-phase HfO_(2)can be thermodynamically modulated via interfacial stress *** this paper,the growth of improved ferroelectric Al doped HfO_(2)(HfO_(2):Al)thin films on(111)-oriented Si substrate has been *** analysis has suggested that nonpolar monoclinic HfO_(2):Al grown on(111)-oriented Si substrate suffered from a strong compressive strain,which promoted the crystallization of(111)-oriented o-phase HfO_(2)in the as-grown HfO_(2):Al thin *** addition,the in-plane lattice of(111)-oriented Si substrate matches well with that of(111)-oriented o-phase HfO_(2),which further thermally stabilizes the o-phase HfO_(2).Accordingly,an improved ferroelectricity with a remnant polarization(2P_(r))of 26.7C/cm^(2) has been *** results shown in this work provide a simple way toward the preparation of improved ferroelectric HfO_(2)thin films.

As an emerging cancer therapeutic target,non-apoptotic cell death such as ferroptosis,necroptosis and pyroptosis,etc.,has revealed significant potential in cancer treatment for bypassing apoptosis to enhance the undermined therapeutic efficacy triggered by apoptosis resistance.A variety of anticancer drugs,synthesized compounds and natural products have been proven recently to induce non-apoptotic cell death and exhibit excellent anti-tumor ***,the convergence of nanotechnology with functional materials and biomedicine science has provided tremendous opportunities to construct non-apoptotic cell death-based nanomedicine for innovative cancer *** are not only employed in targeted delivery of non-apoptotic inducers,but also used as therapeutic components to induce non-apoptotic cell death to achieve efficient tumor *** review first introduces the main characteristics,the mechanism and various pharmacological modulators of different non-apoptotic cell death forms,including ferroptosis,necroptosis,pyroptosis,autophagy,paraptosis,lysosomal-dependent cell death,and ***,we comprehensively review the latest progresses of nanomedicine that induces various forms of non-apoptotic cell death and focus on the nanomedicine targeting different pathways and ***,the combination therapies of non-apoptotic cell death with photothermal therapy,photodynamic therapy,immunotherapy and other modalities are ***,the challenges and future perspectives in this regard are also discussed.

General Synthetic Iterative Scheme for Unsteady Rarefied Gas Flows

In rarefied gas flows,the spatial grid size could vary by several orders of magnitude in a single flow configuration(e.g.,inside the Knudsen layer it is at the order of mean free path of gas molecules,while in the bulk region it is at a much larger hydrodynamic scale).Therefore,efficient implicit numerical method is urgently needed for time-dependent ***,the integro-differential nature of gas kinetic equations poses a grand challenge,as the gain part of the collision operator is *** an iterative solver is required in each time step,which usually takes a lot of iterations in the(near)continuum flow regime where the Knudsen number is small;worse still,the solution does not asymptotically preserve the fluid dynamic limit when the spatial cell size is not refined *** on the general synthetic iteration scheme for steady-state solution of the Boltzmann equation,we propose two numerical schemes to push the multiscale simulation of unsteady rarefied gas flows to a new boundary,that is,the numerical solution not only converges within dozens of iterations in each time step,but also asymptotically preserves the Navier-Stokes-Fourier limit in the continuum flow regime,when the spatial grid is coarse,and the time step is large(e.g.,in simulating the extreme slow decay of two-dimensional Taylor vortex,the time step is even at the order of vortex decay time).The properties of fast convergence and asymptotic preserving of the proposed schemes are not only rigorously proven by the Fourier stability analysis for simplified gas kinetic models,but also demonstrated by several numerical examples for the gas kinetic models and the Boltzmann equation.
