Construction of eco-friendly dual carbon dots ratiometric fluorescence probe for highly selective and efficient sensing mercury ion

In present work,blue carbon dots(b-CDs)were derived from ammonium citrate and guanidine hydrochloride,and red carbon dots(r-CDs)were stemmed from malonate,ethylenediamine and meso-tetra(4-carboxyphenyl)porphin based on facile hydrothermal ***-friendly ratiometric fluorescence probe was innovatively constructed to effectively measure Hg2+utilizing b-CDs and *** developed probe displayed two typical emission peaks at 450 nm from b-CDs and 650 nm from r-CDs under the excitation at 360 *** ion has strong quenching effect on the fluorescence intensity at 450 nm due to the electron transfer process and the fluorescence change at 450 nm was used as the response signal,whereas the fluorescence intensity at 650 nm kept unchangeable which resulted from the chemical inertness between Hg^(2+)and r-CDs,serving as the reference signal in the sensing *** optimal circumstances,this probe exhibited an excellent linearity between the fluorescence response values of F450/F650 and Hg^(2+)concentrations over range of 0.01-10μmol/L,and the limit of detectionwas down to 5.3 nmol/***,this probe was successfully employed for sensing Hg^(2+)in practical environmental water samples with satisfied recoveries of 98.5%-105.0%.The constructed ratiometric fluorescent probe provided a rapid,environmental-friendly,reliable,and efficient platform for measuring trace Hg^(2+)in environmental field.

Carbon dots (CDs),due to their low cost,high stability,and high luminous efficiency,have emerged as an excellent material for the emissive layer in next-generation electroluminescent light-emitting diodes(ELEDs).However,improving the efficiency of fluorescent CDs-based ELEDs remains challenging,primarily because it is difficult to utilize triplet excitons in the electroluminescence ***,enhancing the exciton utilization efficiency of CDs during electroluminescence is *** on this,we exploited the characteristic large exciton binding energy commonly found in CDs to develop exciton-emitting *** CDs facilitate the radiative recombination of excitons during electroluminescence,thereby improving the electroluminescent *** rationally selecting precursors,we developed high quantum efficiency CDs and subsequently constructed CDs-based *** blue-light device exhibited an external quantum efficiency of over 4%.This study introduces a novel design concept for CDs,providing a new strategy for developing high-performance blue ELEDs based on CDs.

To more accurately describe the coal damage and fracture evolution law during liquid nitrogen(LN_(2))fracturing under true triaxial stress,a thermal-hydraulic-mechanical-damage(THMD)coupling model for LN_(2) fracturing coal was developed,considering the coal heterogeneity and thermophysical parameters of *** accuracy and applicability of model were verified by comparing with LN_(2) injection pre-cooling and fracturing experimental *** effects of different pre-cooling times and horizontal stress ratios on coal damage evolution,permeability,temperature distribution,and fracture characteristics were *** results show that the permeability and damage of the coal increase exponentially,while the temperature decreases exponentially during the fracturing *** the pre-cooling time increases,the damage range of the coal expands,and the fracture propagation becomes more *** initiation pressure and rupture pressure decrease and tend to stabilize with longer precooling *** the horizontal stress ratio increases,fractures preferentially extend along the direction of maximum horizontal principal stress,leading to a significant decrease in both initiation and rupture *** a horizontal stress ratio of 3,the initiation pressure drops by 48.07%,and the rupture pressure decreases by 41.36%.The results provide a theoretical basis for optimizing LN_(2) fracturing techniques and improving coal seam modification.

The selective construction of sophisticated supramolecular topologies has always attracted the remarkable attention of ***,various molecular knots and catenanes have recently been reported and were obtained either accidentally or by following a previously planned synthetic ***,we introduce a series of supramolecular topologies including double trefoil knot (1),trefoil knot (2) and[2]catenanes (4,5),which were prepared via an elaborated self-assembly strategy by using half-sandwich units based on a flexible pyridyl linker *** formation of all the structures has been confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and NMR spectroscopy,and ***,the central potassium ion of 1 coordinates six oxygen atoms belonging to six amide groups from two trefoil *** double trefoil knot 1 and[2]catenanes 4,5 are stabilized by parallel-displacedπ···πstacking interactions (of interlayer distance 3.34–3.82?) between the pyridyl fraction and phenyl moieties of three ligands L1,and by edge-to-face-type CH···πinteractions (2.64–2.83?) between BiBzIm conjugated planes and phenyl hydrocarbon ***,the addition/removal of potassium ions resulted in topological transformation between the double trefoil knot 1 and the trefoil knot *** addition,the addition of DMF-d7to a methanolic solution of the double trefoil knot 1 induced its structural conversion into the metallamacrocycle *** photothermal studies of 1,4,and 5 showed different photothermal responses in solid and solution ***,the photothermal conversion efficiencies of 4,and 5 were within the limit of 16.8%–45.1%based on different power areas,the number and the fashion ofπ···πstacking interactions can directly affect the photothermal conversion efficiency,and EPR experiments confirmed the recorded results.

Fine control of growth and thermotolerance in the plant response to heat stress

Global warming impacts plant growth and development, which in turn threatens food security. Plants can clearly respond to warm-temperature(such as by thermomorphogenesis) and high-temperature stresses. At the molecular level, many small molecules play crucial roles in balancing growth and defense, and stable high yields can be achieved by fine-tuning the responses to external stimuli. Therefore, it is essential to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying plant growth in response to heat stress and how plants can adjust their biological processes to survive heat stress conditions. In this review, we summarize the heat-responsive genetic networks in plants and crop plants based on recent studies. We focus on how plants sense the elevated temperatures and initiate the cellular and metabolic responses that allow them to adapt to the adverse growing conditions. We also describe the trade-off between plant growth and responses to heat stress. Specifically, we address the regulatory network of plant responses to heat stress, which will facilitate the discovery of novel thermotolerance genes and provide new opportunities for agricultural applications.

The surface of a high-speed vehicle reentering the atmosphere is surrounded by plasma *** to the influence of the inhomogeneous flow field around the vehicle,understanding the electromagnetic properties of the plasma sheath can be *** the electron density of the plasma sheath is crucial for understanding and achieving plasma stealth of *** this work,the relationship between electromagnetic wave attenuation and electron density is deduced *** attenuation distribution along the propagation path is found to be proportional to the integral of the plasma electron *** result is used to predict the electron density ***,the average electron density is obtained using a back-propagation neural network ***,the spatial distribution of the electron density can be determined from the average electron density and the normalized derivative of attenuation with respect to the propagation *** to traditional probe measurement methods,the proposed approach not only improves efficiency but also preserves the integrity of the plasma environment.

Hydrogen-bonded organic framework-ionic liquid composite quasisolid electrolyte for high-performance lithium battery

Ionic liquids(ILs)hold great promise as highperformance electrolyte material due to their unique advantages including nonvolatility,high thermal stability and high ionic ***,the IL-based electrolytes always suffer from serious ion aggregation and high viscosity at low temperatures,leading to significantly decline in ionic ***,hydrogen-bonded organic framework-ionic liquid composite quasi-solid electrolyte(high temperature treatment(HT)-HOF-IL CQSE)was prepared through confining the IL electrolytes(ILEs)into the pore of HOF lamellar *** weak hydrogen bonding interactions within HOF nanosheets,together with the generated interactions between ILE and HOF,enable uniform and continuous distribution of ILE in HOF lamellar *** effectively inhibits the ion migration of ILE,which meanwhile serves as Li+transfer sites,affording high ionic conductivity of 5.7×10^(-5)S·cm-1 at-60 ℃,with high lithium-ion transference number of 0.69,whereas ILEs usually lose ionic conduction ability at such low *** assembled Li symmetrical cell can stably cycle at 0.2 mA·cm^(-2)and^(-2)0 ℃ for more than 1500 *** LiFePO_(4)|HT-HOF-IL CQSE|Li cell shows excellent cycling performance at 0.5 C at a wide temperature range of^(-2)0 to 60 ℃.This work may pave a new avenue for the development of high-performance IL-based composite electrolytes.

Alteration mechanism and classification and mechanical properties of altered granite

Altered rock， often encountered in major engineering projects， can seriously affect the stability of rocks and slopes surrounding deeply buried tunnels. This study addressed the alteration mechanism， alteration degree classification， and mechanical parameters of altered rock in engineering project areas using field testing， thin slice identification， X-ray diffraction， and major element testing. Results showed that the altered rock types in the areas of the Pingjiang Pumped Storage Power Station (Hunan Province) and a diversion tunnel in northern Xinjiang include biotite granodiorite， biotite monzogranite， and cataclastic granite， and that the main alteration mechanisms are chloritization of biotite and clayization of feldspar minerals. The altered rocks were classified as slightly， moderately， or strongly altered according to their apparent characteristics， rebound value， longitudinal wave velocity， metamorphic mineral content， and porosity. The bulk density， elastic modulus， cohesion， and internal friction angle (Poisson’s ratio) of the altered rocks decreased (increased) with increase in the degree of alteration. Numerical simulations showed that in altered rock slope areas， the zone of strong rock alteration and the moderate–strong alteration contact zone exhibit locally large deformations that represent certain hazard to engineering projects. These results provide valuable guidance and support for major projects in altered rock areas.
