The recognized energy storage mechanism of neutral aqueous zinc-manganese batteries is the co-insertion/extrusion of H^(+) and Zn^(2+) ***,modulating the kinetics of a single H^(+) or Zn^(2+) ion is scarce,which can provide meaningful insights into the energy storage mechanism of Zn ion ***,a distinctive doubly electric field in-situ induced cationic anchoring of two-dimensional layered MnO_(2) is successfully constructed to modulate the insertion/extrusion of a single H^(+) or Zn^(2+) *** a result,regulating the intercalation of different metal ions can precisely achieve the accelerated induction for the individual H^(+) or Zn^(2+) ions intercalation/***,the introduction of metal ions stabilizes the lattice distortion and alleviates the irreparable structural collapse,leading to an increase in the H^(+)/Zn^(2+) storage sites,efficiently diminishing the stagnation of the ordered structure and creating the more open channels,which is conducive to facilitating the diffusion of *** work delivers some innovative insights into pre-embedding strategies,and also serves as a precious reference for the cathode development of advanced aqueous batteries.

Photocatalytic Degradation of Rhodamine B by Recyclable Ag Br/Polypyrrole(PPy)Nano-Catalysts

We investigated the removal of the organic dye rhodamine B in wastewater with recyclable AgBr/polypyrrole(PPy)*** PPy as an active base for electron transfer,and hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB)as both the soft-templating agent and the bromine source,a series of AgBr/PPy nano-photocatalysts containing various proportions of silver were prepared in a convenient one-step synthesis *** synthesized catalysts were characterized by TG analysis to reveal that,in comparison with pure PPy,the interaction between PPy and AgBr led to increased thermal *** combination of PPy and AgBr was observed through XRD and XPS *** the morphology study,the AgBr particles were found to be well dispersed in the PPy nanowire network from SEM *** the photodegradation experiments,up to 92%rhodamine B was degraded by the AgBr/PPy catalysts in the period of 1 hour under 254 nm UV *** catalysts could maintain 60%catalytic efficiency after 3 cycles in the recyclability test.

Cosmological scenario based on particle creation and holographic equipartition

We propose a cosmological scenario that describes the evolution of the universe based on particle creation and holographic equipartition. The model attempts to solve the inflation of the early universe and the accelerated expansion of the present universe without introducing the dark energy from the thermodynamical *** the evolution of the universe, we assume that the universe consistently creates particles, and that the holographic equipartition is always satisfied. Further, we set the creation rate of particles proportional to H^2 in the early universe and to H in the present and late universe, where H depicts the Hubble parameter. Consequently, we obtain the solutions a(t) ∝ e^αt/3 and a(t) ∝ t^1/2 for the early universe and solutions a(t) ∝ t^δ and a(t) ∝ e^Ht for the present and late universe, respectively, where α and δ are the parameters. Finally, we obtain and analyze two important thermodynamic properties for the present model.

Assignment of unanchored scaffolds in genome of Brassica napus by RNA-seq analysis in a complete set of Brassica rapa-Brassica oleracea monosomic addition lines

Integrating WSN and Laser SLAM for Mobile Robot Indoor Localization

Localization plays a vital role in the mobile robot navigation system and is a fundamental capability for the following path planning *** an indoor environment where the global positioning system signal fails or becomes weak,the wireless sensor network(WSN)or simultaneous localization and mapping(SLAM)scheme gradually becomes a research hot *** method uses received signal strength indicator(RSSI)values to determine the position of the target signal node,however,the orientation of the target node is not ***,the distance error is large when the indoor signal receives *** laser SLAM-based method usually uses a 2D laser Lidar to build an occupancy grid map,then locates the robot according to the known grid ***,this scheme only works effectively in those areas with salient geometrical *** traditional particle filter always fails for areas with similar structures,such as a long *** solve their shortcomings,this paper proposes a novel coarse-to-fine paradigm that uses WSN to assist mobile robot localization in a geometrically similar ***,the fingerprints database is built in the offline stage to get reference distance *** distance data is determined by the statistical mean value of multiple RSSI ***,a hybrid map with grid cells and RSSI values is constructed when the mobile robot moves from a starting point to the ending ***,the RSSI values are thought of as a basic reference to get a coarse ***,an improved particle filteringmethod is presented to achieve fine *** results demonstrate that our approach is effective and robust for global *** localization success rate reaches 97.0%and the average moving distance is only 0.74 meters,while the traditional method always *** addition,the method also works well when the mobile robot is kidnapped to another position in the environment.

Constraints on the kinetic energy of type-Ic supernova explosion from young PSR J1906+0746 in a double neutron star candidate

So far among the nineteen pairs of detected double neutron star(DNS) systems, it is a usual fact that the first-born recycled pulsar is detected, however the youngest DNS system PSR J1906+0746, with the characteristic age of 113 kyr, is one of the three detected DNS as a non-recycled and second-born NS, which is believed to be formed by an electron capture or a low energy ultra-stripped iron core-collapse supernova(SN) explosion. The SN remnant around PSR J1906+0746 is too dim to be observed by optical telescopes, then its x-ray flux limit has been given by Chandra. A reference pulsar PSR J1509-5850 with the young characteristic age of 154 kyr was chosen as an object of comparison, which has an SN remnant observed by Chandra and is believed to be formed by iron core SN explosion. We impose a restriction on the maximum kinetic energy of electron-capture(EC) SN explosion that induces the formation of PSR J1906+0746. The estimated result is(4–8)×10^(50) erg(1 erg= 10-7 J), which is consistent with that of the published simulations of the EC process, i.e., a lower value than that of the conventional iron core SN explosion of(1–2)×10^(51) erg. As suggested, EC process for NS formation is pertained to the subluminous type Ic SN by the helium star with ONeMg core, thus for the first time we derived the kinetic energy of EC SN explosion of DNS, which may be reconciled with the recent observation of type Ic SN 2014 ft with kinetic energy of 2 × 10^(50) erg.

Ceramic synthesis of 0.08BiGaO_3–0.90BaTiO_3–0.02LiNbO_3 under high pressure and high temperature

In this paper, the preparation of 0.08BiGaO3–0.90BaTiO3–0.02LiNbO3 is investigated at pressure 3.8 GPa and temperature 1100–1200？C. Experimental results indicate that not only is the sintered rate more effective, but also the sintered temperature is lower under high pressure and high temperature than those of under normal pressure. It is thought that the adscititious pressure plays the key role in this process, which is discussed in detail. The composition and the structure of the as-prepared samples are recorded by XRD patterns. The result shows that the phases of Ba TiO3, BaBiO（2.77）, and Ba2Bi4Ti5O（18） with piezoelectric ceramic performance generate in the sintered samples. Furthermore, the surface morphology characteristics of the typical samples are also investigated using a scanning electron microscope. It indicates that the grain size and surface structure of the samples are closely related to the sintering temperature and sintering time. It is hoped that this study can provide a new train of thought for the preparation of lead-free piezoelectric ceramics with excellent performance.
