3-D Temperature Fields in Laminated Shells Subjected to Thermo-Loads

The temperature fields in the laminated shells were studied, including opencylindrical shells and cylindrical shells, according to the thermal theory. Analyticalsolution of the temperature in the shells with the known temperature on the surfaces waspresent. The thinning layer approach was introduced to simplify the three-dimensionalheat conduction equation. Firstly, the layered shell was divided into N thinner layers. Thegoverning equation was simplified by replacing the variable r by r0 in the center line ofevery thin layer. The general solutions of temperature satisfying the simplified threedimensionalgoverning equation in single-layered shell were deduced in the cylindricalcoordinate system. Then, the temperature and heat flux relationships between the surfacescould be found by transferring matrixes. According to the continuities of temperature andheat flux in the interface of the laminates, the temperature and heat flux relationships ofthe surfaces were derived. With the temperature condition on the surfaces, the unknowncoefficients in the general solution of temperature were obtained. Finally, the effects fromthe thinning layer approach were eliminated by analyzing different numbers of thin *** validity and accuracy of the proposal method were proved from the convergence andcomparison studies. And several numerical examples were studied to investigated thetemperature effects from surface temperatures, geometric size of the shells andcomposition of layers.

The method of fabricating low-cost adsorbents with high activity and durability via a convenient and ecofriendly procedure is of great importance to wastewater treatment. Herein, a high-efficient mechanical exfoliation strategy was proposed to facilely prepare few-layered graphene-analogue boron nitride(BN) via a one-step non-organic solvent assisted wet ball mill procedure. Ball-milling treatment increased the specific surface area of BN 3.5-fold by reducing the thickness to ~3 layers with 45 min. The exfoliated BN exhibited strikingly improved sorption performance to organic contaminants with around 124% and 116% increased removal efficiency respectively for oxytetracycline(OTC) and Rhodamine B(RhB) as compared to the bulk BN. Batches sorption experiments showed that the sorption processes were thermodynamic endothermic, and well fitted to pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Freundlich isotherm equation. The π-π stacking interaction, hydrophobic effect and electrostatic interaction were proposed as the dominated sorption mechanism. In addition, no significant decline in adsorptive removal ability for the sorbent after 5 times recycling. The results indicate that the ball-milling exfoliation is a fast, green,sustainable and promising strategy for synthesis of highly potent BN based two-dimensional layered adsorbents.

Aluminum killed low-carbon steel sheets were cold rolled at different reduction ratios and annealed using different temperatures and holding *** Vickers hardness was *** results show that when cold rolling reduction ratios increase from 40% to 81%,recrystallization temperatures decrease from 602℃ to 572℃ during 4hisochronal annealing,as well recrystallization holding time decreases from 117 min to 5min during isothermal annealing at 610℃.All recrystallization temperatures and holding time can be calculated using the annealing experiment *** was examined through electron backscattered diffraction（EBSD）.The results show that as rolling direction preferentially grows,equiaxed grains grow into cake-type during ***-type grains are more beneficial to obtaining ideal〈111〉//ND（normal direcrtion）orientation texture.{111}orientation grains nucleate and grow up *** grains of{111}〈110〉orientations grow into new recrystallization grains of{111}〈123〉and{111}〈112〉during *** formation can be explained by directional nucleation.

The continuing increase in human activities is causing global changes such as increased deposition of atmospheric nitrogen. There is considerable interest in understanding the effects of increasing atmospheric nitrogen deposition on soil enzyme activities, specifically in terms of global nitrogen cycling and its potential future contribution to global climate change. This paper summarizes the ecological effects of atmospheric nitrogen deposition on soil enzyme activities, including size-effects, stage-effects, site-effects, and the effects of different levels and forms of atmospheric nitrogen deposition. We discuss needs for further research on the relationship between atmospheric nitrogen deposition and soil enzymes.

A new hyperchaotic system and its linear feedback control

This paper reports a new hyperchaotic system by adding an additional state variable into a three-dimensional chaotic dynamical system, studies some of its basic dynamical properties, such as the hyperchaotic attractor, Lyapunov exponents, bifurcation diagram and the hyperchaotic attractor evolving into periodic, quasi-periodic dynamical behaviours by varying parameter k. Furthermore, effective linear feedback control method is used to suppress hyperchaos to unstable equilibrium, periodic orbits and quasi-periodic orbits. Numerical simulations are presented to show these results.

In this paper,we present a method for generating Bézier surfaces from the boundary information based on a general second order functional and a third order functional associated with the triharmonic *** solving simple linear equations,the internal control points of the resulting Bézier surface can be obtained as linear combinations of the given boundary control *** is a generalization of previous works on Plateau-Bezier problem,harmonic,biharmonic and quasi-harmonic Bézier *** representative examples show the effectiveness of the presented method.
