Tumor cell clusters are regarded as critical factors in cancer pathophysiology,and increasing evidence of their higher treatment resistance and metastasis compared to single tumor cells has been ***,existing cell separation methods that are designed for single tumor cells cannot be used to simultaneously purify tumor cell *** address this problem,we demonstrated a microfluidic approach for the high-throughput,continuous-flow ternary separation of single tumor cells,tumor cell clusters,and WBCs from clinical pleural or abdominal effusions by coupling slanted spiral channels and periodic contraction-expansion *** first systematically explored the influence of particle size and flow rate on particle *** separation performance indicated that 94.0%of WBCs were removed and more than 97%of MDA-MB-231 tumor cells were recovered at a high flow rate of 3500µL/***,more than 90%of tumor cell clusters were effectively preserved after ***,we successfully applied our device for the ternary separation of single tumor cells,tumor cell clusters,and WBCs from different malignant effusions collected from patients with metastatic ***,our spiral-contraction-expansion device has potential as a sample pretreatment tool for the cytological diagnosis of malignant effusions.

In traditional digital twin communication system testing,we can apply test cases as completely as possible in order to ensure the correctness of the system implementation,and even then,there is no guarantee that the digital twin communication system implementation is completely *** verification is currently recognized as a method to ensure the correctness of software system for communication in digital twins because it uses rigorous mathematical methods to verify the correctness of systems for communication in digital twins and can effectively help system designers determine whether the system is designed and implemented *** this paper,we use the interactive theorem proving tool Isabelle/HOL to construct the formal model of the X86 architecture,and to model the related assembly *** verification result shows that the system states obtained after the operations of relevant assembly instructions is consistent with the expected states,indicating that the system meets the design expectations.

The exact evaluation of the fusion rate of virgin and aged asphalt is essential to optimize the performance of the recycled asphalt *** fusion rate index was developed by tracing the distribution of tracer asphalt,which contains nano-ferrous ferric oxide(nano-Fe_(3)O_(4))*** fusion simulation tests were performed on three types of asphalt to obtain different fusion states,and fatigue tests were performed to evaluate the influence of the fusion rate on the fatigue life of the recycled *** was found that the tracer asphalt containing 4%nano-Fe_(3)O_(4)shows the optimal trace effect,and the developed fusion rate index can quantitatively characterize the influence of different factors on the fusion state of the recycled *** fusion state is closely related to the fatigue performance of recycled asphalt,and the fusion rate index can fairly evaluate its fatigue *** relationship between the fusion rate and the fatigue life of recycled asphalt depends on the factors that cause the fusion rate *** the influence of the amount of rejuvenator,the fatigue life of recycled asphalt grows exponentially with increasing fusion rate due to enhancement of molecular motion as well as a supplement of lightweight *** the influence of heat preservation treatment,fatigue life increases linearly with increasing fusion *** proposed fusion rate index can be utilized to quantitatively characterize the fusion state of virgin and aged asphalt,thus providing a simple way to guide the practical application of recycled asphalt.

BACKGROUND The generalized tonic-clonic seizure(GTCS)is the most usual variety of epileptic *** is mainly characterized by strong body muscle rigidity,loss of consciousness,a disorder of plant neurofunction,and significant damage to cognitive *** effect of antiepileptic drugs on cognition should also be *** present,there is no effective treatment for patients with epilepsy,but traditional Chinese medicine has shown a significant effect on chronic disease with fewer harmful side effects and should,therefore,be considered for the therapy means of epilepsy with cognitive *** To investigate the clinical efficacy of Baijin pills for treating GTCS patients with cognitive *** This prospective study enrolled patients diagnosed with GTCS between January 2020 and December 2023 and separate them into two groups(experimental and control)using random number table *** control group was treated with sodium valproate,and the experimental group was Baijin pills and sodium valproate for three *** frequency and duration of each seizure,the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale(MoCA),and the Quality of Life Rating Scale(QOLIE-31)were recorded before and after *** There were 85 patients included(42 in the control group and 43 in the experimental group).After treatment,the seizure frequency in the experimental group was significantly reduced(P<0.05),and seizure duration was shortened(P<0.01).The total MoCA score in the experimental group significantly increased compared to before treatment(P<0.01),and the sub-item scores,except naming and abstract generalization ability,significantly increased(P<0.05),whereas the total MoCA score in the control group significantly decreased after treatment(P<0.05).The QOLIE-31 score of the experimental group increased significantly after treatment compared to before treatment(P<0.01).CONCLUSION Baijin pills have a good clinical effect on epilepsy with cognitive dysfunction.

Analysis of Summer Cold Vortex Activity Anomalies in Northeastern China and Their Relationship with Regional Precipitation and Temperature

The Northeastern China cold vortex(NCCV)is one type of strong cyclonic vortex that occurs near Northeastern China(NEC),and NCCV activities are typically accompanied by a series of hazardous *** paper employed an automatic algorithm to identify the NCCVs from 1979 to 2018 and analyzed their circulation patterns and climatic impacts by using the defined NCCV intensity index(NCCVI).The analysis revealed that the NCCV activities in summer exhibited a strong inter-annual variability,with an obvious periodicity of 3-4 years and 6-7 years,but without significant *** years when the NCCVI was high,NEC experienced negative geopotential height anomalies,cyclonic circulation,and cooler temperature anomalies,which were conducive to the maintenance and development of NCCV ***,large amounts of water vapor converged in NEC through two transportation routes as the NCCVs intensified,leading to a significant positive(negative)correlation with the summer precipitation(surface temperature)in *** Atlantic sea surface temperature(SST)anomalies were closely related to summer NCCV *** the Atlantic SST rose,large amounts of surface sensible and latent heat flux were transported into the lower troposphere,inducing a positive geopotential height anomaly that occurred on the east side of the heat *** a result,an eastward diverging flow was formed in the upper troposphere and propagated downstream,i.e.,the eastward propagating Rossby wave train,which eventually led to a coupled circulation in the Ural Mountains and NEC,as well as more intensive NCCV activities in summer.

This paper considers the one-and two-dimensional risk models with a non-stationary claim-number *** the assumption that the claim-number process satisfies the large deviations principle,the uniform asymptotics for the finite-time ruin probability of a one-dimensional risk model are obtained for the strongly subexponential claim ***,as an application of the result of onedimensional risk model,we derive the uniform asymptotics for a kind of finite-time ruin probability in a two dimensional risk model sharing a common claim-number process which satisfies the large deviations principle.
