Pyridine-H_5PMo_(10)V_2O_(40) hybrid catalysts for liquid-phase hydroxylation of benzene to phenol with molecular oxygen

Pyridine(Py)-modified Keggin-type vanadium-substituted heteropoly acids(PynPMo10V2O40,n=1 to 5) were prepared by a precipitation method as organic/inorganic hybrid catalysts for direct hydroxylation of benzene to phenol in a pressured batch reactor and their structures were detected by *** various catalysts,Py3PMo10V2O40 exhibits the highest catalytic activity(yield of phenol,11.5%),without observing the formation of catechol,hydroquinone and benzoquinone in the reaction with 80 vol% aqueous acetic acid,molecular oxygen and ascorbic acid used as the solvent,oxidant and reducing reagent,*** of reaction temperature,reaction time,oxygen pressure,amount of ascorbic acid and catalyst on yield of phenol were investigated to obtain the optimal reaction conditions for phenol *** can greatly promote the catalytic activity of the Py-free catalyst(H5PMo10V2O40),mostly because the organic π electrons in the hybrid catalyst may extend their conjugation to the inorganic framework of heteropoly acid and dramatically modify the redox properties,at the same time,pyridine adsorbed on heteropoly acids can promote the effect of "pseudo-liquid phase",thus accounting for the enhancement of phenol yield.

The high-speed advances in electromagnetic(EM)wave and laser detection technology have accelerated the innovation of absorbing materials toward specific multi-band *** is difficult to achieve dual absorption of EM waves and near-infrared lasers by absorbing materials in a single frequency band;the design of high-performance laser-EM wave multi-band compatible absorbing materials is ***,ErBO_(3)@ATO(erbium borate/antimony-doped tin oxide)porous composite microspheres with an average size of 15-20μm are produced solvothermal method and self-assembly,which exhibit excellent laser-EM wave compatible *** porous structure on the surface of ErBO_(3)microspheres provides heterogeneous nucleation sites for ATO particle *** minimum reflectivity of the composite for1.06 and 1.54μm lasers is 9.59%and 4.79%,which is0.57%and 3.78%lower than those of pure ATO particles,*** composites containing 70 wt%porous ErBO_(3)@ATO reveal the minimum reflection loss(RL)value of-31.6 dB,and an effective absorption band width reaches 2.08 GHz at 2.5 mm *** mechanism of near-infrared laser and EM wave compatible absorption is the synergistic effect of the energy level transition of ErBO_(3)and the dielectric loss of ATO,coupled with the large surface area and porous structure of the micro ***,the designed porous ErBO_(3)@ATO composite microspheres can be an attractive choice for lasers and EM wave high-quality compatible absorption.

Stark splitting of intense red emission for Er^(3+)in O_(h) symmetry sites realizing optical temperature sensing in biological applications

Optical temperature sensing based on the fluorescence intensity ratio(FIR)of red emission for lanthanide ions holds significant relevance in non-contact temperature measurement for biological *** this study,the perovskite-structured KZnF_(3)is utilized as a host material for Er^(3+)to achieve a high-purity upconversion(UC)red *** observed Stark splitting of the red emission peak provides evidence of the energy level splitting of Er^(3+).Group theory is employed to decompose the spectral branching of Er^(3+)under the point group symmetry of KZnF_(3),allowing for the derivation of Stark splitting energy levels induced by the crystal field *** optical temperature-sensing behavior of the red UC luminescence was investigated,specifically examining the FIR of the splitting sub-peaks,which exhibited an exponential relationship with *** KZnF_(3):Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)demonstrated a relative sensitivity(S_(r))of 0.00182%·K^(-1)at 298 K,highlighting its excellent response to *** vivo bio-thermometry experiments conducted on chicken breast validated the material's ability to penetrate biological tissues and showed its significant sensitivity of the FIR to *** results establish KZnF_(3):Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)as a promising material for optical thermometry in various biological applications.

Preparation, Characterization and Catalytic Behavior of 12-Molybdophosphoric Acid Encapsulated in the Supercage of Cs^＋-exchanged Y Zeolite

In order to solve the serious leaching problem of supported heteropoly acid catalysts in polar reaction media, 12-molybdophosphoric acid encapsulated in the supercage of Cs^＋-exchanged Y zeolite was prepared by the ＂ship in the bottle＂ synthesis. The influence of ion-exchange conditions and the synthesis parameters on the encaosulation of PMo12 were investigated. The obtained solid sample was characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, 31p magic angle spin nuclear magnetic resonance （MAS NMR） and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy （FT-IR）, and its catalytic activity in the esterification of acetic acid and n-butanol was tested. The ion-exchange time, concentration of aqueous Cs^＋ solution, pH value, and amount of Mo added in the synthesis mixture were revealed to influence the encapsulation very remarkably. Under the optimal conditions, 12-molybdophosphoric acid could be successfully encapsulated in the supercage of CsY zeolite, and the samples showed considerable catalytic activity and excellent reusability in the esterification reaction.

AIM:To evaluate the possible relationship between the Ku80 gene polymorphism and the risk of gastric cancer in ***:In this hospital-based case-control study of gastric cancer in jiangsu province,China,we investigated the association of the Ku80 G-1401T (rs828907) polymorphism with gastric cancer risk.A total of 241 patients with gastric cancer and 273 age-and sexmatched control subjects were genotyped and analyzed by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length ***:The frequencies of genotypes GG,GT and TT were 65.6%,22.8% and 11.6% in gastric cancer cases,respectively,and 75.8%,17.6% and 6.6% in controls,*** were significant differences between gastric cancer and control groups in the distribution of their genotypes (P=0.03) and allelic frequencies (P=0.002) in the Ku80 promoter G-1401T ***:The T allele of Ku80 G-1401T may be associated with the development of gastric cancer.

Correlation between pre-miR-146a C/G polymorphism and gastric cancer risk in Chinese population

AIM:To investigate the association between pre-miR- 146a C/G polymorphism and gastric cancer risk. METHODS:We performed a hospital-based,case-control study using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism method in 608 individuals(304 gastric cancer patients and 304 age and sex matched cancer-free controls).RESULTS:The frequencies of pre-miR-146a C/G genotypes in the case group were significantly different from those in the control groups(P=0.037).Compared with CC genotype carriers,subjects with the variant genotypes(GC+GG)had a 58%increased risk of gastric cancer(adjusted OR=1.58,95%CI:1.11-2.20,P= 0.009).Moreover,a higher gastric cancer risk was especially evident in younger individuals aged≤58 years, nonsmokers,and males(adjusted OR=1.76,95%CI: 1.08-2.87,P=0.024;adjusted OR=1.55,95%CI: 1.06-2.28,P=0.025;adjusted OR=1.53,95%CI: 1.04-2.27,P=0.033;respectively). CONCLUSION:Pre-miR-146a C/G polymorphism might be associated with an elevated risk of gastric cancer in Chinese population.

Dual-property blue and red emission carbon dots for Fe(Ⅲ)ions detection and cellular imaging

The excitation wavelength-dependent and-independent emissions are two crucial fluorescent properties of carbon dots(CDs).However,CDs reported till date exhibit only one of these properties,which limits their practical ***,dual-property carbon dots(DCDs)with both the excitation wavelength-dependent and-independent emissions were synthesized via a facile onestep solvothermal method using 4-(2-pyridylazo)-resorcinol as the carbon *** multi-functional applications of the resulting DCDs were also *** asprepared DCDs exhibited not only excellent monodispersity,high photostability,and storage stability,but also low toxicity,good biocompatibility,and cellular bioimaging *** addition,the DCDs exhibited excitation-dependent emission photoluminescence under low excitation *** DCDs exhibited good Fe3+detection by quenching the blue emission fluorescence and showed a relatively low Fe3+detection limit of 0.067 lmol·L-1 based on three times signal-to-noise criteria(R2=0.99).Furthermore,the DCDs showed excitation-independent emission at low excitation wavelengths and exhibited red emission at about 598 nm to avoid damage to the *** results demonstrate the excellent bioimaging properties of the *** to their dual PL properties,the as-prepared DCDs exhibited multi-functional applications:Fe3+detection and A549 cell *** results will be helpful in developing novel CDs for applications in various fields.

Characterizing the trajectory of the healthy aging brain and exploring age-related structural changes in the brain can help deepen our understanding of the mechanism of brain ***,most structural magnetic resonance imaging literature explores brain aging merely from the perspective of morphological features,which cannot fully utilize the grayscale values containing important intrinsic information about brain *** this study,we propose the construction of two-dimensional horizontal visibility graphs based on the pixel intensity values of the gray matter slices *** network structure entropy(NNSE)is then introduced to quantify the overall heterogeneities of these *** results demonstrate a decrease in the NNSEs of gray matter with *** with the middle-aged and the elderly,the larger values of the NNSE in the younger group may indicate more homogeneous network structures,smaller differences in importance between nodes and thus a more powerful ability to tolerate *** addition,the hub nodes of different adult age groups are primarily located in the precuneus,cingulate gyrus,superior temporal gyrus,inferior temporal gyrus,parahippocampal gyrus,insula,precentral gyrus and postcentral *** study can provide a new perspective for understanding and exploring the structural mechanism of brain aging.

The RNAome landscape of tomato during arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis reveals an evolving RNA layer symbiotic regulatory network

Arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis(AMS)is an ancient plant-fungus relationship that is widely distributed in terrestrial *** formation of symbiotic structures and bidirectional nutrient exchange requires the regulation of numerous ***,the landscape of RNAome during plant AMS involving different types of regulatory RNA is poorly *** this study,a combinatorial strategy utilizing multiple sequencing approaches was used to decipher the landscape of RNAome in tomato,an emerging AMS *** annotation of the tomato genome was improved by a multiple-platform sequencing strategy.A total of 3,174 protein-coding genes were upregulated during AMS,42%of which were alternatively ***-transcriptome analysis revealed that genes from 24 orthogroups were consistently induced by AMS in eight phylogenetically distant *** additional orthogroups were specifically induced by AMS in all surveyed dicot AMS host ***,these orthogroups were absent or not induced in monocots and/or non-AMS hosts,suggesting a continuously evolving AMS-responsive network in addition to a conserved core regulatory ***,we detected 587 lncRNAs,ten miRNAs,and 146 circRNAs that responded to AMS,which were incorporated to establish a tomato AMSresponsive,competing RNA-responsive endogenous RNA(ceRNA)***,a tomato symbiotic transcriptome database(TSTD,https://***/TSTD)was constructed to serve as a resource for deep deciphering of the AMS regulatory *** results help elucidate the reconfiguration of the tomato RNAome during AMS and suggest a sophisticated and evolving RNA layer responsive network during AMS processes.

Facile one-pot synthesis of NiCo2O4 hollow spheres with controllable number of shells for high-performance supercapacitors

In this work, single- and double-shelled NiCo2O4 hollow spheres have been synthesized in situ by a one-pot solvothermal method assisted by xylose, followed by heat treatment. Employed as supercapacitor electrode materials, the double-shelled NiCo2O4 hollow spheres exhibit a remarkable specific capacitance （1,204.4 F g-1 at a current density of 2.0 A.g-1） and excellent cycling stability （103.6% retention after 10,000 cycles at a current density of 10 A.g-1）. Such outstanding electrochemical performance can be attributed to their unique internal morphology, which provides a higher surface area with a larger number of active sites available to interact with the electrolyte. The versatility of this method was demonstrated by applying it to other binary metal oxide materials, such as ZnCo2O4, ZnMn2O4, and CoMn2O4. The present study thus illustrates a simple and general strategy for the preparation of binary transition metal oxide hollow spheres with a controllable number of shells. This approach shows great promise for the development of next-generation high-performance electrochemical materials.
