Different responses of two adjacent artificial beaches to Typhoon Hato in Zhuhai,China

Major differences in beach erosion between two neighboring artificial beaches Xiangluwan Beach(XL beach)and Meiliwan Beach(ML beach)in Zhuhai,China,were studied after Super Typhoon *** this study,a fully nonlinear Boussinesq wave model(FUNWAVE)-Total Variation Diminishing(TVD)was used to distinguish the main impact factors,their relative contributions,and the hydrodynamic mechanisms underlying the different beach *** show that compared to the ML beach,the main reason for the relatively weak erosion on Xiangluwan(XL)beach was the smaller beach berm height(accounting for approximately 75.9%of the erosion response).Regarding the beach with a higher berm,the stronger wave-induced undertow flow,along with the higher sediment concentration,led to a higher offshore sediment transport flux,resulting in more severe erosion relative to the beach with a smaller berm *** second most important reason explaining the weak erosion on XL beach was the absence of seawalls(accounting for approximately 17.9%of the erosion response).Wave reflection induced by the seawall could cause higher suspended sediment concentration,resulting in a toe scouring near the *** offshore submerged breakwater protected XL beach slightly(accounting for approximately 6.1%of the erosion response).Due to the higher water level induced by storm surge,most of the wave energy could penetrate through the submerged *** effect of the larger berm width of XL beach was *** to the beach with a larger berm width,the erosion/deposition regions in the beach with a narrower berm width showed shoreward migration,without significant changes in the erosion/deposition *** of this,the larger berm width could reduce the wave energy reaching the *** study of the storm stability of artificial beaches may be applied to beach restoration design.

Photocatalytic aerobic oxidation desulfurization(PAODS)is a promising and sustainable alternative to conventional,energyintensive desulfurization techniques for petroleum ***,its development is greatly plagued by the low capability in generating highly reactive oxygen species and sluggish kinetics of sulfide oxidation of reported *** we report a class of MoO_(x)nanocluster decorated on ultrathin Mo-doped TiO_(2)nanosheet(MoO_(x)/MoTiO)catalyst for efficiently facilitating the photocatalytic aerobic oxidation of *** demonstrate that MoO_(x)/MoTiO can not only promote the generation of highly reactive singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2))but also enhance the aerobic conversion of sulfides,which leads to a record dibenzothiophene oxidation activity of 3.90 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1).The multiple experimental characterizations and density functional theory calculations collectively reveal that the doped-Mo sites can interact with the photogenerated excitons,enabling directly energy transfer generation of^(1)O_(2)through a new exciton modulation mechanism,and the coordination unsaturated MoO_(x)clusters play the role of co-catalyst to enhance the separation of charge carriers,and effectively catalyze the reaction between sulfides and1O_(2)to form sulfones.

The primary aim of this study was to analyze the evolving trends and key focal points in research on cellular metabolism of colorectal cancer(CRC).Relevant publications on cellular metabolism in CRC were sourced from the science Citation Index Expanded within the Web of science Core Collection *** analysis and visualization were conducted using VOSviewer(version 1.6.18)software and CiteSpace 6.1.R6(64-bit)Basic.A comprehensive compilation of 4722 English-language publications,covering the period from January 1,1991 to December 31,2022,was carefully identified and included in the *** the authors,“Ogino,Shuji”contributed the most publications in this field,while“Giovannucci,E”garnered the highest number of *** journal“Cancer Research”ranked first in both publication volume and ***,“Shanghai Jiao Tong University”emerged as the top contributor in terms of published articles,while“Harvard University”led in citation *** country-based analysis,the United States held the top position in both publication output and citations,closely followed by *** increasing recognition of the significance of cellular metabolism in CRC underscores its potential for novel therapeutic approaches aimed at improving CRC management and prognosis.

With the rapid advancement of 5G technology,the Internet of Things(IoT)has entered a new phase of appli-cations and is rapidly becoming a significant force in promoting economic *** to the vast amounts of data created by numerous 5G IoT devices,the Ethereum platform has become a tool for the storage and sharing of IoT device data,thanks to its open and tamper-resistant ***,Ethereum account security is necessary for the Internet of Things to grow quickly and improve people's *** modeling Ethereum trans-action records as a transaction network,the account types are well identified by the Ethereum account classifi-cation system established based on Graph Neural Networks(GNNs).This work first investigates the Ethereum transaction ***,experimental metrics reveal that the Ethereum transaction network is neither optimal nor even satisfactory in terms of accurately representing transactions per *** flaw may significantly impede the classification capability of GNNs,which is mostly governed by their *** work proposes an Adaptive Multi-channel Bayesian Graph Attention Network(AMBGAT)for Ethereum account clas-sification to address this *** uses attention to enhance node features,estimate graph topology that conforms to the ground truth,and efficiently extract node features pertinent to downstream *** extensive experiment with actual Ethereum transaction data demonstrates that AMBGAT obtains competitive performance in the classification of Ethereum accounts while accurately estimating the graph topology.

Heteroconchia,a widespread and abundant aquatic invertebrate,is an important clade of bivalve *** relationship between the three branches of Heteroconchia,Palaeoheterodonta,Archiheterodonta,and Euheterodonta has become a main controversy in molecular studies of the relationships between *** the present study,we assembled the complete mitochondrial genomes of Tapes dorsatus(Veneridae)and Cardita variegata(Carditidae)using high-throughput *** is the first mitochondrial genome belonging to the family Carditidae to be *** used 12 protein coding genes(excluding atp8)from the complete mitochondrial genomes of 146 species to recover the internal relationships of *** results support the traditional view of early branching of Palaeoheterodonta and the recovery of the monophyly of Palaeoheterodonta,Anomalodesmata,*** analysis show that gene arrangement within Venerida was highly ***-calibrated phylogenetic studies based on a relaxed molecular clock model suggested that Veneridae originated approximately 337.62 million years ago(Ma)and split into two major clades,whereas Carditidae originated approximately 510.09 *** results provide evidence of the internal relationships of Heteroconchia.

We demonstrated herein an electrochemical dearomatizative alkylation of Katritzky salts,wherein Katritzky salts were harnessed as both radical acceptors and donors.A wide range of privileged dihydropyridine scaffolds was constructed with good to excellent *** voltammetry(CV)and electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)results confirmed the key intermediates-dihydropyridine radicals and gram-scale reaction highlighted the practical and sustainable feature of the newly developed protocol.

太阳能驱动的半导体光催化技术被认为是缓解能源短缺和环境污染的潜在策略.因此,探索高效的光催化剂是推动光催化技术发展和实际应用的关键.作为一种典型的半导体光催化剂,TiO_(2)因其化学稳定、环境友好、成本低廉等特性而备受关注.然而,TiO_(2)光生载流子的快速复合、光吸收范围窄以及还原能力不足等缺点严重阻碍了其光催化性能.通过将TiO_(2)与其他半导体复合以构建梯型异质结可以有效的解决上述问题.在此光催化体系中,梯型异质结不仅可以整合各组分的优点,实现光生载流子的有效分离和光捕获能力的增强,而且还能保留最强的氧化还原能力.基于此,本文综述了利用构建梯型异质结来提高TiO_(2)光催化性能的最新研究进展,着重介绍了TiO_(2)基梯型异质结光催化剂的分类,主要包括金属氧化物、金属硫属化物、有机半导体和其他类型半导体.在此基础上,本文还总结了TiO_(2)基梯型异质结光催化剂在析氢、CO_(2)还原、H_(2)O_(2)生成和污染物降解等领域中的应用.同时,为了更好地理解光生载流子的转移途径,本文还简要介绍了梯型异质结的一些表征方法.最后,对TiO_(2)基梯型异质结光催化剂所面临的问题和未来的发展方向进行了展望.综上,本文旨在为构建用于能源转换和环境修复的高效TiO_(2)基梯型异质结光催化剂提供参考.
