BACKGrOUND primary pancreatic lymphoma(ppL)is an exceedingly rare tumor with limited mention in scientific literature.The clinical manifestations of ppL are often nonspecific,making it challenging to distinguish this disease from other panc-reatic-related diseases.Chemotherapy remains the primary treatment for these individuals.CASE SUMMArY In this case study,we present the clinical details of a 62-year-old woman who initially presented with vomiting,abdominal pain,and dorsal pain.On further evaluation through positron emission tomography-computed tomography,the patient was considered to have a pancreatic head mass.However,subsequent endoscopic ultrasonography-guided fine needle aspiration(EUS-FNA)revealed that the patient had pancreatic peripheral T-cell lymphoma,not otherwise specified(pTCL-NOS).There was a substantial decrease in the size of the pancreatic mass after the patient underwent a cycle of chemotherapy comprised of brentuximab vedotin,decitabine,and oxaliplatin(brentuximab vedotin and Gemox).The patient had significant improvement in radiological findings at the end of the first cycle.CONCLUSION primary pancreatic pTCL-NOS is a malignant and heterogeneous lymphoma,in which the clinical manifestations are often nonspecific.It is difficult to diagnose,and the prognosis is poor.Imaging can only be used for auxiliary diagnosis of other diseases.With the help of immunostaining,EUS-FNA could be used to aid in the diagnosis of ppL.After a clear diagnosis,chemotherapy is still the first-line treatment for such patients,and surgical resection is not recommended.A large number of recent studies have shown that the CD30 antibody drug has potential as a therapy for several types of lymphoma.However,identifying new CD30-targeted therapies for different types of lymphoma is urgently needed.In the future,further research on antitumor therapy should be carried out to improve the survival prognosis of such patients.

In this paper,we consider the following perturbed fractional Hamiltonian systems{tD_(∞)^(α)(_(-∞)D_(t)^(α)u(t))+L(t)u(t)=■_(u)W(t,u(t))+■(u)G(t,u(t)),t∈r,u∈H^(α)(r,r^(N)),whereα∈(1/2,1],L∈C(r,r^(N×N))is symmetric and not necessarily required to be positive definite,W∈C1(r×r^(N,r))is locally subquadratic and locally even near the origin,and perturbed term G∈C1(r×r^(N,r))maybe has no parity in u.Utilizing the perturbed method improved by the authors,a sequence of nontrivial homo clinic solutions is obtained,which generalizes previous results.

Quantum gate-assisted teleportation in noisy environments:robustness and fidelity improvement

Quantum teleportation as the key strategy for quantum communication requires pure maximally shared entangled states among quantum nodes.In practice,quantum decoherence drastically degrades the shared entanglement during entanglement distribution,which is a serious challenge for the development of quantum networks.However,most of the decoherence control strategies proposed thus far are either resource-intensive or time-consuming.To overcome this obstacle,we enable noise-resistant teleportation through a noisy channel with a limited number of qubits and without applying time-consuming weak measurements.We apply a quantum gate control unit consisting of a controlled NOT gate and a rotation gate after the original teleportation protocol is accomplished.Furthermore,we demonstrate that a teleportation fidelity of unity is attainable when environment-assisted measurement is added to the proposed teleportation protocol via quantum gates.Moreover,we present an entanglement distribution process by employing the designed quantum gate control unit followed by the deterministic standard teleportation protocol to improve teleportation fidelity by establishing improved shared entanglement.Our performance analysis indicates that the proposed teleportation schemes offer a competitive fidelity and success probability compared with the conventional schemes and a recent weak measurement-based teleportation protocol.

Improving error-correcting capability in DNA digital storage via soft-decision decoding

Error-correcting codes(ECCs) employed in the state-of-the-art DNA digital storage(DDS) systems suffer from a trade-off between error-correcting capability and the proportion of redundancy. To address this issue, in this study, we introduce soft-decision decoding approach into DDS by proposing a DNA-specific error prediction model and a series of novel strategies. We demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach through a proof-of-concept DDS system based on reed-Solomon(rS) code, named as Derrick. Derrick shows significant improvement in error-correcting capability without involving additional redundancy in both in vitro and in silico experiments, using various sequencing technologies such as Illumina, pac Bio and Oxford Nanopore Technology(ONT). Notably, in vitro experiments using ONT sequencing at a depth of 7× reveal that Derrick, compared with the traditional hard-decision decoding strategy, doubles the error-correcting capability of rS code, decreases the proportion of matrices with decoding-failure by 229-fold, and amplifies the potential maximum storage volume by impressive 32 388-fold. Also, Derrick surpasses ‘state-of-the-art' DDS systems by comprehensively considering the information density and the minimum sequencing depth required for complete information recovery. Crucially, the soft-decision decoding strategy and key steps of Derrick are generalizable to other ECCs' decoding algorithms.

The study delves into the expanding role of network platforms in our daily lives, encompassing various mediums like blogs, forums, online chats, and prominent social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. While these platforms offer avenues for self-expression and community support, they concurrently harbor negative impacts, fostering antisocial behaviors like phishing, impersonation, hate speech, cyberbullying, cyberstalking, cyberterrorism, fake news propagation, spamming, and fraud. Notably, individuals also leverage these platforms to connect with authorities and seek aid during disasters. The overarching objective of this research is to address the dual nature of network platforms by proposing innovative methodologies aimed at enhancing their positive aspects and mitigating their negative repercussions. To achieve this, the study introduces a weight learning method grounded in multi-linear attribute ranking. This approach serves to evaluate the significance of attribute combinations across all feature spaces. Additionally, a novel clustering method based on tensors is proposed to elevate the quality of clustering while effectively distinguishing selected features. The methodology incorporates a weighted average similarity matrix and optionally integrates weighted Euclidean distance, contributing to a more nuanced understanding of attribute importance. The analysis of the proposed methods yields significant findings. The weight learning method proves instrumental in discerning the importance of attribute combinations, shedding light on key aspects within feature spaces. Simultaneously, the clustering method based on tensors exhibits improved efficacy in enhancing clustering quality and feature distinction. This not only advances our understanding of attribute importance but also paves the way for more nuanced data analysis methodologies. Inferring network structures from available data has attracted much interest in network science;however,in many realistic networks,only some of the nodes are perceptible while others are hidden,making it a challenging task.In this work,we develop a method for reconstructing the network with hidden nodes and links,taking account of fast-varying noise and time-delay interactions.By calculating the correlations of available data with different derivative orders for multiple pairs of accessible nodes,analyzing and integrating the relationships between different correlations,and defining diverse hidden-node-related reconstruction motifs,we can effectively identify the hidden nodes and hidden links in the network.

The accurate estimation of parameters is the premise for establishing a high-fidelity simulation model of a valve-controlled cylinder system.Bench test data are easily obtained,but it is challenging to emulate actual loads in the research on parameter estimation of valve-controlled cylinder system.Despite the actual load information contained in the operating data of the control valve,its acquisition remains challenging.This paper proposes a method that fuses bench test and operating data for parameter estimation to address the aforementioned problems.The proposed method is based on Bayesian theory,and its core is a pool fusion of prior information from bench test and operating data.Firstly,a system model is established,and the parameters in the model are analysed.Secondly,the bench and operating data of the system are collected.Then,the model parameters and weight coefficients are estimated using the data fusion method.Finally,the estimated effects of the data fusion method,Bayesian method,and particle swarm optimisation(pSO)algorithm on system model parameters are compared.The research shows that the weight coefficient represents the contribution of different prior information to the parameter estimation result.The effect of parameter estimation based on the data fusion method is better than that of the Bayesian method and the pSO algorithm.Increasing load complexity leads to a decrease in model accuracy,highlighting the crucial role of the data fusion method in parameter estimation studies.

Bruton's tyrosine kinase inhibitors(BTKis) have revolutionized the treatment of B-cell lymphomas. However,safety issues related to the use of BTKis may hinder treatment continuity and further affect clinical efficacy. A comprehensive and systematic expert consensus from a pharmacological perspective is lacking for safety issues associated with BTKi treatment. A multidisciplinary consensus working group was established, comprising 35 members from the fields of hematology, cardiovascular disease, cardio-oncology, clinical pharmacy, and evidence-based medicine. This evidence-based expert consensus was formulated using an evidence-based approach and the Delphi method. The Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal(JBI) tool and Grading of recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation(GrADE) approach were used to rate the quality of evidence and grade the strength of recommendations, respectively. This consensus provides practical recommendations for BTKis medication based on nine aspects within three domains, including the management of common adverse drug events such as bleeding, cardiovascular events, and hematological toxicity, as well as the management of drug-drug interactions and guidance for special populations. This multidisciplinary expert consensus could contribute to promoting a multi-dimensional, comprehensive and standardized management of BTKis.
