Electronic modulation towards MOFs as template derived CoP via engineered heteroatom defect for a highly effcient overall water splitting

The reasonable design of material morphology and eco-friendly electrocatalysts are essential to highly efficient water *** is proposed that a promising strategy effectively regulates the electronic structure of the d-orbitals of CoP using cerium doping in this paper,thus significantly improving the intrinsic property and conductivity of CoP for water *** a result,the as-synthesize porous Ce-doped CoP micro-polyhedron composite derived from Ce-ZIF-67 as bifunctional electrocatalytic materials exhibits excellent electrocatalytic performance in both the oxygen evolution reaction（OER） and the hydrogen evolution reaction（HER）,overpotentials of about 152 mV for HER at 10 mA cm-2and about 352 mV for OER at 50 mA cm-2,and especially it shows outstanding long-term ***,an alkaline electrolyzer,using Ce0.04Co0.96P electrocatalyst as both the anode and cathode,delivers a cell voltage value of1.55 V at the current density of 10 mA *** calculation results of the density functional theory（DFT）demonstrate that the introduction of an appropriate amount of Ce into CoP can enhance the conductivity,and can induce the electronic modulation to regulate the selective adsorption of reaction intermediates on catalytic surface and the formation of O*intermediates（CoOOH）,which exhibits an excellent electrocatalytic *** study provides novel insights into the design of an extraordinary performance water-splitting of the multicomponent electrocatalysts.

Enhanced rate capability and cycle stability of Ti2C MXene for sodium storage through an aniline molecules welding strategy

MXenes obtained significant attention in the field of energy storage devices due to their characteristic layered structure,modifiable surface functional groups,large electrochemically active surface,and regulable interlayer ***,the self-restacking and sluggish ions diffusion kinetics performance of MXenes during the alkali metal ions insertion/extraction process severely impedes their cycle stability and rate *** paper proposes an aniline molecule welding strategy for welding p-phenylenediamine（PPDA） into the interlayers of Ti2C through a dehydration condensation *** welded PPDA molecules can contribute pillar effect to the layered structure of *** pillar effect effectively maintains the structural stability during the sodium ions insertion/extraction process and effectively expands the interlayer spacing of Ti2C from 1.16 to 1.38 nm,thereby enhancing ions diffusion kinetics performance and improving the long-term cycle *** Ti2C-PPDA demonstrates outstanding Na+storage capability,exhibiting a specific capacity of 100.2 mAh·g-1at a current density of 0.1 A·g-1over 960 cycles and delivering a remarkable rate capability 81.2 mAh·g-1at a current density of 5 A·*** study demonstrates that expanding interlayer spacing is a promising strategy to enhance the Na+storage capacity and improve long-term cycling stability,which provides significant guidance for the design of two-dimensional Na+storage materials with high-rate capability and cycle stability.

The emergence of drug resistance to virus(i.e.,acyclovir(ACV)to herpesviruses)has been termed one of the common clinical issues,emphasizing the discovery of new antiviral *** address it,a genome-wide clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats(CRISPR)screening was performed in mouse haploid embryonic stem cells infected with pseudorabies virus(PRV),anα-herpesvirus causing human and pig *** results demonstrated that type 2 voltage-gated chloride channels(CLC-2)encoded by one of the identified genes,CLCN2,is a potential drug target for anti-herpesvirus ***-2 inhibitors,omeprazole(OME)and 4,4'-diisothiocyanostilbene-2,2'-disulfonic acid(DIDS),can efficiently inhibit infection of multiple herpesviruses in cellulo(i.e.,PRV,HSV and EBV),and effectively treat murine herpes simplex encephalitis(HSE).Additionally,DIDS was found to inhibit HSV-1 replication by blocking the PI3K/Akt *** importantly,both DIDS and OME were able to inhibit ACV-resistant HSV-1 strain *** study's findings suggest that targeting host-cell factors such as CLC-2 may be a promising approach to tackling herpesvirus drug *** discovery of CLC-2 as a potential drug target for anti-herpesvirus therapy provides a new direction for the development of novel antiviral agents.

Modeling and Capacity Configuration Optimization of CRH5 EMU On-Board Energy Storage System

In the context of the“dual carbon”goals,to address issues such as high energy consumption,high costs,and low power quality in the rapid development of electrified railways,this study focused on the China Railways High-Speed 5 Electric Multiple Unit and proposed a mathematical model and capacity optimization method for an onboard energy storage system using lithium batteries and supercapacitors as storage ***,considering the electrical characteristics,weight,and volume of the storage media,a mathematical model of the energy storage system was ***,to tackle problems related to energy consumption and power quality,an energy management strategy was proposed that comprehensively considers peak shaving and valley filling and power quality by controlling the charge/discharge thresholds of the storage *** optimization adopted a bilevel programming model,with the series/parallel number of storage modules as variables,considering constraints imposed by the Direct Current to Direct Current converter,train load,and *** improved Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm and linear programming solver were used to solve specific *** results show that the proposed onboard energy storage system can effectively achieve energy savings,reduce consumption,and improve power qualitywhile meeting the load and space limitations of the train.

A Wind Tunnel Experimental Study on the Wake Characteristics of a Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine

The characteristics of wind turbine wakes are influenced by multiple factors,including the atmospheric boundary layer(ABL)wind and wind turbine operating conditions(e.g.,tip speed ratio and yaw angle).In this study,two types of ABL winds with different velocity gradients and turbulence intensities are generated in a wind tunnel through configurations of spires,baffles,and various numbers of roughness elements.A wind turbine with a rotor diameter of 0.8 m and a hub height of 0.6 m is tested under varying tip speed ratios,yaw angles,and ABL wind *** results indicate that the streamwise velocity deficit in the near-wake region becomes more pronounced with an increase in the tip speed ratio,while the far-wake velocity deficit remains largely unaffected by changes in the tip speed *** the yaw angle increases,the wake deflection becomes more prominent and the wake narrows;the offset of the wake center at various downstream positions grows linearly,reaching a maximum value of approximately half the rotor ***,the turbulence level and influence range in the wake region are reduced when the turbine is *** ABL wind conditions,high turbulence intensity in the incoming flow accelerates wake recovery,and the Reynolds stress at different lateral positions tends to become consistent with increasing longitudinal ***,turbulence has a significant impact on the meandering characteristics of the wind turbine wake,with greater fluctuations in the wake center observed under higher turbulence ***,this study provides insights that could inform the optimal operation of wind farms.

Converting CO_(2)and water into valuable chemicals like plant do is considered a promising approach to address both environmental and energy *** inspiration from the structures of natural leaves,we designed and synthesized a novel copper-coordinated covalent triazine framework(CuCTF)supported by silicon nanowire arrays on wafer *** marks the first-ever application of such a hybrid material in the photoelectrocatalytic reduction of CO_(2)under mild *** Si@CuCTF6 heterojunction has exhibited exceptional selectivity of 95.6%towards multicarbon products(C^(2+))and apparent quantum efficiency(AQE)of 0.89%for carbon-based *** active sites of the catalysts are derived from the nitrogen atoms of unique triazine ring structure in the ordered porous framework and the abundant Cu-N coordination sites with bipyridine ***,through DFT calculations and operando FTIR spectra analysis,we proposed a comprehensive mechanism for the photoelectrocatalytic CO_(2)reduction,confirming the existence of key intermediate species such as*CO_(2)-,*=C=O,*CHO and*CO-CHO *** work not only provides a new way to mimic photosynthesis of plant leaves but also gives a new opportunity to enter this research field in the future.

Comparative Investigation of the Migration Behavior of Two Stearate Acid Scavengers from Ziegler-Natta Polypropylene into Water during Autoclaving Treatment

Although Ziegler-Natta(Z-N)polyolefins have been widely used as raw materials to produce pharmaceutical or food packaging,the migration of acid scavengers,an additive usually introduced in Z-N polyolefins,from the packaging to its contents has not been *** this work,the migration of the two most used acid scavengers,calcium stearate(CaSt2)and zinc stearate(ZnSt2),from a Z-N polypropylene random copolymer(PPR)into water during autoclaving at 121 ℃ were comparatively *** was found that,for PPR plates containing 0.1 wt％CaSt2 or ZnSt2(PPR-0.1CaSt2,PPR-0.1ZnSt2,respectively),the concentration of migrated calcium ion into water increased with autoclaving time,while that of zinc ion was much lower at same treatment durations and did not show a significant increase with treatment ***,af-ter removing all plates and acidification treatment,a considerable amount of stearic acid was detected in sterilized water for PPR-0.1 ZnSt2,but no such significant stearic acid was detected in sterilized water for PPR-0.1 *** on the structural evolution of the two soaps upon heating,possible mechanisms for the different migration behavior of CaSt2 and ZnSt2 from PPR into water during autoclaving treatment were *** results suggest that the migration issue of acid scavengers is worthy of attention in pharmaceutical packaging materials produced from Z-N polyolefins.

Hydrogen is a renewable and clean energy,and photocatalytic water splitting for hydrogen evolution technology is a promising technical means to solve the development *** this study,the ternary composite Co_(8)POM@MXene–CdS hybrid catalyst was constructed and used for photocatalytic hydrogen *** the condition of AM 1.5G simulated sunlight,the photocatalytic H_(2) evolution rate of the ternary composite was 8.13 mmol g^(−1) h^(−1),which was more than 25 times higher than that of the bare *** means of synchronous illumination X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(SI-XPS)and density functional theory(DFT)calculations,it was proved that the loading of MXene and Co_(8)POM improved the photogenerated carrier separation and immigration efficiency on *** photogenerated electrons transfer from CdS to ***_(8)POM containing the{Co_(4)O_(3)}quasi-cubane,as an oxidation co-catalyst,accepts photogenerated holes from CdS to catalyze the oxidation reaction of TEOA,which improves the photocatalytic hydrogen production activity and the stability of CdS.

Remaining Life Prediction Method for Photovoltaic Modules Based on Two-Stage Wiener Process

Photovoltaic (PV) modules, as essential components of solar power generation systems, significantly influence unitpower generation *** service life of these modules directly affects these costs. Over time, the performanceof PV modules gradually declines due to internal degradation and external environmental *** cumulativedegradation impacts the overall reliability of photovoltaic power generation. This study addresses the complexdegradation process of PV modules by developing a two-stage Wiener process model. This approach accountsfor the distinct phases of degradation resulting from module aging and environmental influences. A powerdegradation model based on the two-stage Wiener process is constructed to describe individual differences inmodule degradation processes. To estimate the model parameters, a combination of the Expectation-Maximization(EM) algorithm and the Bayesian method is employed. Furthermore, the Schwarz Information Criterion (SIC) isutilized to identify critical change points in PV module degradation trajectories. To validate the universality andeffectiveness of the proposed method, a comparative analysis is conducted against other established life predictiontechniques for PV modules.
