Based on the perspective of sustainability transitions(ST)theory,the paper dissects the opera-tional mechanisms of protected space driving emerging technology industrialization from an external system perspective,which is on the basis of defining essential characteristics and func-tional attributes of protected ***,it structures a three-dimensional evaluation model of protected space from the perspective of internal mechanism by introducing the policy mixes ***,taking the Chinese New Energy Vehicle(NEV)industry as the example and using the system dynamics modeling method,the paper designs different simulation schemes from three dimensions of horizontal evolution trend,three types of policy instrument change and policy mixes of protected space,to predict and analyze the operation effect of protected *** results show that the Chinese NEV industry is in the stage of market niche entry,and corresponding measures should be taken to increase the market scale,form effective demand and scale effect,and promote the diffusion of market niche;the effect of policy mixes is better than that of the single policy instrument;specific policy mixes should be adopted to develop simultaneously from both the supply and demand sides to improve the industrialization level of NEV.

This paper tries to outline the influence of atomic mobility on the initial fabrication of thin films formed by LECBD. Based on our recent studies on low-energy cluster beam deposition (LECBD) by molecular dynamics simulation, two examples, the deposition of small carbon clusters on Si and diamond surfaces and Al clusters on Ni substrate, were mainly discussed. The impact energy of the cluster ranges from 0.1 eV to 100 eV. In the former case, the mobility and the lateral migration of surface atoms, especially the recoil atoms, are enhanced with increasing the impact energy, which promote the film to be smoother and denser. For the latter case, the transverse kinetic energy of cluster atoms, caused mainly by the collision between moving cluster atoms, dominates the lateral spread of cluster atoms on the surface, which is contributive to layer-by-layer growth of thin films. Our result is consistent with the experimental observations that the film structure is strongly dependent on the impact energy. In addition, it elucidates that the atomic mobility takes a leading role in the structure characteristic of films formed by LECBD.

This paper considers the problem of detecting structural changes in a high-dimensional regression setting. The structural parameters are subject to abrupt changes of unknown magnitudes at unknown locations. The authors propose a new procedure that minimizes a penalized least-squares loss function via a dynamic programming algorithm for estimating the locations of change points. To alleviate the computational burden, the authors adopt a prescreening procedure by eliminating a large number of irrelevant points before implementing estimation procedure. The number of change points is determined via Schwarz’s information criterion. under mild assumptions, the authors establish the consistency of the proposed estimators, and further provide error bounds for estimated parameters which achieve almost-optimal rate. Simulation studies show that the proposed method performs reasonably well in terms of estimation accuracy, and a real data example is used for illustration.

Birkhoffian Symplectic Scheme for a Quantum System

In this paper, a classical system of ordinary differential equations is built to describe a kind of n-dimensional quantum systems. The absorption spectrum and the density of the states for the system are defined from the points of quantum view and classical view. From the Birkhoffian form of the equations, a Birkhoffian symplectic scheme is derived for solving n-dimensional equations by using the generating function method. Besides the Birkhoffian structure- preserving, the new scheme is proven to preserve the discrete local energy conservation law of the system with zero vector f . Some numerical experiments for a 3-dimensional example show that the new scheme can simulate the general Birkhoffian system better than the implicit midpoint scheme, which is well known to be symplectic scheme for Hamiltonian system.

This paper considers the scheduling problem with rejection on m identical parallel machines to minimize the maximum flow time. The authors show that this problem is NP-hard even when there is a single machine and all jobs have two distinct release dates. Furthermore, the authors present a dynamic programming algorithm and two approximation algorithms to solve them.

Microgrid is considered an important part of the future zero carbon energy ***,the uncertainty caused by renewable energy source brings huge challenges to the scheduling of MG and restricts its ability of carbon emission *** this paper,a novel improved multi-ellipsoidal uncertainty set modeling method is proposed to better depict the uncertainty of wind power and reduce the conservativeness of traditional robust *** information from historical data is utilized to capture the temporal correlation of forecast error of wind power,as well as the conditional correlation of forecast error with forecast value,making the uncertainty set more data-adaptive to variation of forecast results and more accurate for uncertainty description.A two-stage robust optimization model of a grid-connected microgrid is established based on the proposed uncertainty set and solved by column and constraint generation *** results based on actual data illustrate the average unbalanced power of microgrid between day-ahead trading and real-time power exchange with utility grid is dropped by nearly 11.16%compared with a deterministic optimization method,11.86%with traditional box uncertainty set-based robust optimization method,and 2.89%with stochastic optimization method.

The perturbation method is employed to analyse the guided waves in a borehole surrounded by a cubic crystal medium for the first time. The cubic crystal medium is regarded as a reference unperturbed isotropic state added to the perturbation. The dispersion characteristics of Stoneley wave, pseudo-Rayleigh wave, flexural wave, and screw wave are investigated in detail. It is found that dispersion of the guided waves excited by monopole and dipole sources does not depend on the azimuth of the source, whereas the dispersion of screw wave excited by quadrupole source is significantly related to the azimuth of the source. Screw waves propagated along different azimuth in the borehole can be split. This is different from screw waves in transversely isotropic media （hexagonal crystal）, which have been widely studied.

A model based on the statistics of individual atoms[***.94(2011)40002],which has been successfully applied to predict the rate constant of unimolecular reactions,was further extended to bimolecular reactions induced by *** with the measured rate constants of the reactions S+SO_(2)→SO+SO and NH_(3)+Cl→NH_(2)+HCl,the model is proved to be significantly better than conventional transition state *** order to strictly test the model,we perform molecular dynamics simulation of C_(60)+C_(60)→C_(120),and show that the rate constants are in excellent agreement with our model but far away from the transition state theory.

This paper considers the formatiomshape control of three agents in the plane. By adding an adaptive perturbation to any agent＇s movement direction, a novel control strategy is proposed. It is shown that the proposed novel control law can not only guarantee the global asymptotical stability of the desired formation shape, but also ensure the collision avoidance of agents between each other. Simulation results are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the control algorithm.
