Annual growth of Fagus orientalis is limited by spring drought conditions in iran’s Golestan Province

Due to the lack of a uniform and accurate defi-nition of‘drought’,several indicators have been introduced based on different variables and methods,and the efficiency of each of these is determined according to their relationship with *** relationship between two drought indices,SPI(standardized precipitation index)and SPEI(standard-ized precipitation-evapotranspiration index)in different sea-sons was investigated using annual rings of 15 tree samples to determine the effect of drought on the growth of oriental beech(Fagus orientalis Lipsky)in the Hyrcanian forests of northern *** different evapotranspiration calcula-tion methods were evaluated on SPEI efficiency based on Hargreaves-Samani,Thornthwaite,and Penman-Monteith methods using the step-by-step M5 decision tree regression *** results show that SPEI based on the Penman-Monteith in a three-month time scale(spring)had similar temporal changes and a better relationship with annual tree rings(R^(2)=0.81)at a 0.05 significant *** change and a decreasing trend in the time series of annual tree rings are similar to the variation in the SPEI based on the Penman-Monteith *** affecting evapotranspiration,temperature,wind speed,and sunshine hours(used in the Penman-Monteith method),increased but precipitation *** non-linear modeling methods,SPEI based on Penman-Monteith best illustrated climate changes affecting tree growth.

The Hesar pluton in the northern Urumieh-Dokhtar magmatic arc hosts numerous mafic-microgranular enclaves(MMEs).Whole rock geochemistry,mineral chemistry,zircon U-Pb and Sr-Nd isotopes were *** is suggested that the rocks are metaluminous(A/CNK=1.32-1.45),subduction-related I-type calc-alkaline gabbro to diorite with similar mineral assemblages and geochemical *** host rocks yielded an U-Pb crystallization age of 37.3±0.4 Ma for *** have relatively low SiO_(2) contents(52.9-56.6 wt%)and high Mg^(#)(49.8-58.7),probably reflecting a mantle-derived ***-and mantle-normalized trace element patterns are characterized by LREE and LILE enrichment,HREE and HFSE depletion with slight negative Eu anomalies(Eu/Eu^(*)=0.86-1.03).The host rocks yield(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)_(i) ratios of 0.70492-0.70510,positive ε_(Nd)(t)values of+1.55-+2.06 and T_(DM2)of 707-736 Ma,which is consistent with the associated mafic microgranular enclaves((^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)_(i)=0.705014,ε_(Nd)(t)=+1.75,T_(DM2)=729 Ma).All data suggest magma-mixing for enclave and host rock formation,showing a complete equilibration between mixed-mafic and felsic magmas,followed by rapid *** T_(DM1)(Nd)and T_(DM2)(Nd)model ages and U-Pb dating indicate that the host pluton was produced by partial melting of the lower continental crust and subsequent mixing with injected lithospheric mantlederived magmas in a pre-collisional setting of Arabian-Eurasian *** composition indicates a crystallization temperature of~1000℃ and a depth of~9 km.

Design of a Novel Electrochemical Aptasensor Based on Molybdenum Disulfide Nanosheets for Lysozyme Detection

The precise detection of lysozyme plays a crucial role in early diagnosis of kidney failure in leukemia ***,we designed an electrochemical aptasensor to detect lysozyme using a glassy carbon electrode(GCE)modified with molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))nanosheets decorated with chitosan(Ch)and gold nanoparticles(Au).In the next steps of aptasensor preparation,aptamer(Apt)strands were immobilized on MoS_(2)-Au-Ch/GCE surface via electrostatic interactions,and bovine serum albumin(BSA)solution was applied to cover unbonded areas on Apt/MoS_(2)-Au-Ch/*** MoS_(2)-Au-Ch nanocomposite can warrant enhanced immobilization of aptamers and strong signals because of wrinkle-like structure and base planes in MoS nanosheets,presence of abundant amino and carboxyl functional groups in chitosan and Au *** pulse voltammetry(DPV)was used to evaluate the electrochemical behavior of the aptasensor at each preparation step and its detection *** developed electrochemical aptasensor based on MoS nanosheets showed remarkable performance for lysozyme detection in the range from 1 pmol/L to 10 nmol/L with a limit of detection of 2.2 fmol/*** proposed aptasensor provided excellent selectivity against BSA,uric acid,cytochrome C,lysozyme and their *** addition,it displayed great stability of about 99.58%of the initial signal upon 21-day *** on human serum and urine samples yielded promising recoveries ranging from 98 to 105%.Hence,MoS_(2)-Au-Ch nanocomposite-based aptasensor could be an outstanding candidate for medical device applications and protein quantification.

Modulating the immune microenvironment to establish sustained positive feedback within immune pathways represents a promising avenue for the treatment of ***,the precise and efficient delivery of therapeutic systems to the subcutaneous basal layer to modulate immune disorders is a major challenge in the treatment of autoimmune *** this project,we introduce a dual-functional microneedle(DF-MN)designed to combine MNs with multiple release kinetics and immunotherapy,the programmed treatment is achieved through segmented design of the MN structure,realizing the unification of rapid and long-lasting treatment of autoimmune *** vivo imaging results showed that GelMA@M-CSF showed fluorescent signals after 5 days of delivery to subcutaneous tissues,whereas HA@IL-13 showed minimal fluorescent signals after 2 *** multistage release behavior of MNs and the diffusion mechanism of drugs were explained at the molecular level,in combination with coarse-grained molecular ***,DF-MN can successfully induce macrophage reprogramming in vitro and ameliorate overall symptoms in a psoriasis mice model,suggesting that it has the potential to be an effective strategy for the treatment of psoriasis and portends to be a transformative platform for the treatment of other autoimmune diseases.

Ordovician reservoirs in Fuxian area:Gas accumulation patterns and their implications for the exploration of lower Paleozoic carbonates in the southern Ordos Basin

In recent years,the Fuxian area in the southeastern Ordos Basin has undergone significant exploration,with industrial gas flow tested in wells drilled into the Ordovician marine *** this,the gas accumulation patterns of this area are not fully understood,posing challenges for further *** analysis of geological conditions indicates that the Ordovician Majiagou Formation in this area hosts two gas plays:one found in weathering crusts and the other found in interior of the *** investigated various typical gas reservoirs in the area,focusing on differentiating the geological conditions and factors controlling gas accumulation in the weathering-crust and interior gas *** results suggest three primary gas accumulation patterns in the Majiagou Formation in the Fuxian area:(1)upper gas accumulation in weathering crusts,present in the high parts of landforms such as residual paleo-hills or buried paleo-platform(Pattern I);(2)the stereoscopic pattern with gas accumulation in both weathering crusts and strata interior,arising in high parts of landforms such as residual paleo-hills or buried paleo-platforms(Pattern II);(3)lower gas accumulation in strata interior,occurring in the upper reaches and on both sides of paleo-trenches(Pattern III).This study will serve as a geological basis for future exploration deployment in the Fuxian area.

Aminopropyl-containing ionic liquid based organosilica as a novel and efficient adsorbent for removal of crystal violet from wastewaters

Herein a novel aminopropyl-containing ionic liquid based organosilica(ILOS-NH_2) is prepared, characterized and applied as effective adsorbent for removal of crystal violet(CV) dye from wastewater. The ILOS-NH2 material was synthesized by hydrolysis and co-condensation of 1,3-bis-(3-trimethoxysilylpropyl)-imidazolium chloride(BTMSPIC) under acidic conditions followed by treatment with 3-aminopropyl-trimethoxysilane in toluene under reflux conditions. This material was characterized using scanning electron microscopy(SEM), diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(DRIFTS), thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA) and energy dispersive X-ray analysis(EDAX). The material was effectively used in the removal of crystal violet at ambient temperature and showed high capacity and stability under applied conditions. The efficacy of p H, contact time, adsorbent dose, initial dye concentration, temperature, and isotherm studies and the applicability of pseudo-first, second order and Elovich kinetic models have also been investigated.

Performance assessment of a spiral methanol to hydrogen fuel processor for fuel cell applications

A novel design of plate-type microchannel reactor has been developed for fuel cell-grade hydrogen *** Cu/Zn/Al2O3 was used as catalyst for the reforming reaction,and its effectiveness was evaluated on the mole fraction of products,methanol conversion,hydrogen yield and the amount of carbon monoxide under various operating ***,0.5 wt% Ru/Al2O3 as methanation catalyst was prepared by impregnation method and coupled with MSR step to evaluate the capability of methanol processor for CO *** on the experimental results,the optimum conditions were obtained as feed flow rate of 5mL/h and temperature of 250℃,leading to a low CO selectivity and high H2 *** designed reformer with catalyst coated layer was compared with the conventional packed bed reformer at the same operating *** constructed fuel processor had a good performance and excellent capability for on-board hydrogen production.

A comparative study on H_2S removal using Mg–Al spinel(MgAl_2O_4) and MgO/Al_2O_3 nanocomposites

In this work MgO/Al_2O_3 nanocomposites with weight ratios from 5% to 25% were synthesized by precipitationimpregnation method and their structural properties were characterized. In the next step, the capability of the nanocomposites in H_2S removal compared to Mg–Al spinel(MgAl_2O_4), synthesized through ion-pair complex precursor route and alumina samples, prepared via sol–gel precipitation methods, was investigated. The results indicated that among the studied sorbents Mg–Al spinel presents a distinctly higher H_2S removal. In addition, the MgO/Al_2O_3 nanocomposites compared to the alumina sorbents, exhibited much better performance in H_2S removal. Also CO_2-TPD analysis reveals higher amounts of basic sites for Mg–Al spinel compared to 25 wt% MgO/75 wt% Al_2O_3 nanocomposite.

Transesterification of canola oil over Li/Ca-La mixed oxide catalyst:Kinetics and calcination temperature investigations

In this research,a solid 1%Li/Ca-La mixed oxide catalyst was prepared using co-precipitation method followed by wet *** prepared catalyst was used in the transesterification reaction of canola oil and methanol for biodiesel *** effects of calcination and reaction temperatures were investigated on the activity of the *** addition,rate of the reaction was studied through a kinetic model for which parameters were *** properties and structure of the catalyst were characterized through the powder X-ray diffraction(XRD),thermogravimetry/derivative thermogravimetry(TG/DTG),and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy *** these emphasized that the performance of the catalyst corresponded to the generation of the active sites and their thermal activation.

On Time-Constant Robust Tuning of Fractional Order [Proportional Derivative] Controllers

This paper deals with analyzing a newly introduced method for tuning of fractional order [proportional derivative](FO[PD]) controllers to be used in motion control. By using this tuning method, not only the phase margin and gain crossover frequency are adjustable, but also robustness to variations in the plant time-constant is guaranteed. Conditions on the values of control specifications(desired phase margin and gain crossover frequency) for solution existence in this tuning method are found. Also, the number of solutions is analytically determined in this study. Moreover, experimental verifications are presented to indicate the applicability of the obtained results.
