Background:Individual tree extraction from terrestrial laser scanning(TLS)data is a prerequisite for tree-scale estimations of forest biophysical *** task currently is undertaken through laborious and time-consuming manual assistance and quality *** study presents a new fully automatic approach to extract single trees from large-area TLS *** data-driven method operates exclusively on a point cloud graph by path finding,which makes our method computationally efficient and universally applicable to data from various forest ***:We demonstrated the proposed method on two openly available ***,we achieved state-of-the-art performance on locating single trees on a benchmark dataset by significantly improving the mean accuracy by over 10% especially for difficult forest ***,we successfully extracted 270 trees from one hectare temperate *** validation resulted in a mean Intersection over Union(mIoU)of 0.82 for single crown segmentation,which further led to a relative root mean square error(RMSE%)of 21.2% and 23.5% for crown area and tree volume estimations,***:Our method allows automated access to individual tree level information from TLS point *** proposed method is free from restricted assumptions of forest *** is also computationally efficient with an average processing time of several seconds for one million *** is expected and hoped that our method would contribute to TLS-enabled wide-area forest qualifications,ranging from stand volume and carbon stocks modelling to derivation of tree functional traits as part of the global ecosystem understanding.

Intermittent Geocast Routing in Urban Vehicular Delay Tolerant Networks

Nowadays, both vehicular active safety service and user infotainment service have become two core applications for urban Vehicular Delay Tolerant Networks（u VDTNs）. Both core applications require a high data transmission capacity over u VDTNs. In addition, the connection between any two vehicles in u VDTNs is intermittent and opportunistic. Intermittent data dissemination over u VDTNs is a stringent and challenging issue. In this paper,we propose Intermittent Geocast Routing（IGR）. For the first step, IGR has to estimate the active connection time interval via the moving directions and velocities between any two vehicles. Second, the throughput function for u VDTNs is fitted by building a wavelet neural network traffic model. Third, the throughput function within the effective connection time interval is integrated to obtain the forwarding capability estimation of the node. Fourth, a high-efficiency geocast routing algorithm using the node forwarding capability for u VDTNs is designed. Finally, IGR is simulated on the opportunistic Network Environment simulator. Experimental results show that IGR can greatly improve the packet delivery ratio, transmission delay, delay jitter, and packet loss rate compared with the state of the art.

An efficient single atom catalysts Os/P_(3)C sheet for ammonia borane dehydrogenation

Ammonia borane(NH_(3)BH_(3),AB)has been considered to be a promising chemical hydrogen storage *** on density functional theory,a series of transition metal atoms supported P_(3)C(P_(3)C_O)sheet is systematically investigated to screen out the most promising catalyst for dehydrogenation of *** results indicate that the Os/P_(3)C and Os/P_(3)C_O could be an efficient single atom catalyst(SACs)and the stepwise reaction pathway with free energy barrier of 2.07 and 1.54 e V ***,the rate constant further quantitatively confirmed the real situation of the first step of dehydrogenation of AB on the Os/P_(3)C and Os/P_(3)C_O *** found that k_(f1)at 400 K is equivalent to k_(f2)at 800 K,which greatly improves the temperature of the first step of AB dehydrogenation on P_(3)C_*** hope this work can provide a promising method for the design of catalysts for AB dehydrogenation reactions on the surface of two-dimensional materials(2D).

Hydrocarbons are promising products for CO_(2)electroreduction(CRR)while is impeded by the low *** the curvature of the active site is an effective strategy to change the adsorption properties and further regulate the product distribution and ***,we have designed a novel V single atom catalyst(SAC)based on rolled two-dimensional(2D)BC_(3)N_(2)substrate with different *** results have demonstrated that increased curvature can enhance the adsorption strength of CRR intermediates,which follows different mechanisms for systems with low and high *** character eventually leads to the deviation away from the scaling line between Ead[CO]∼Ead[COOH]based on transition metals for V@2D-BC_(3)N_(2)systems.3-3 system is screened as the optimal candidate for hydrocarbons production due to the enhanced binding ability of adsorbates,which can increase the reactivity for hydrocarbons production and hinder the production of H2 and HCOOH simultaneously.

Two Li-rich candidates,TYC 1338-1410-1 and TYC 2825-596-1,were observed by the new high-resolution echelle spectrograph,LAMOST/*** on their high-resolution and high-signal-tonoise ratio(SNR)spectra,we derived stellar parameters and abundances of 14 important elements for the two *** stellar parameters and lithium abundances indicate that they are Li-rich K-type giants,and having A(Li)NLTE and 2.91 dex,*** analysis suggests that TYC 1338-1410-1 is probably a red giant branch(RGB)star at the bump stage,while TYC 2825-596-1 is most likely to be a core helium-burning red clump(RC)*** line profiles of both spectra indicate that the two Li-rich giants are slow rotators and do not show infrared(IR)*** conclude that engulfment is not the lithium enrichment mechanism for either *** enriched lithium of TYC 1338-1410-1 could be created via the Cameron-Fowler mechanism,while the lithium excess in TYC 2825-596-1 could be associated with either non-canonical mixing processes or He-flash.

Fungal diversity notes is one of the important journal series of fungal taxonomy that provide detailed descriptions and illustrations of new fungal taxa,as well as providing new information of fungal taxa *** article is the 11th contribution to the fungal diversity notes series,in which 126 taxa distributed in two phyla,six classes,24 orders and 55 families are described and *** in this study were mainly collected from Italy by Erio Camporesi and also collected from China,India and Thailand,as well as in some other European,North American and South American *** described in the present study include two new families,12 new genera,82 new species,five new combinations and 25 new records on new hosts and new geographical distributions as well as sexual-asexual *** two new families are Eriomycetaceae(Dothideomycetes,family incertae sedis)and Fasciatisporaceae(Xylariales,Sordariomycetes).The twelve new genera comprise Bhagirathimyces(Phaeosphaeriaceae),Camporesiomyces(Tubeufiaceae),Eriocamporesia(Cryphonectriaceae),Eriomyces(Eriomycetaceae),Neomonodictys(Pleurotheciaceae),Paraloratospora(Phaeosphaeriaceae),Paramonodictys(Parabambusicolaceae),Pseudoconlarium(Diaporthomycetidae,genus incertae sedis),Pseudomurilentithecium(Lentitheciaceae),Setoapiospora(Muyocopronaceae),Srinivasanomyces(Vibrisseaceae)and Xenoanthostomella(Xylariales,genera incertae sedis).The 82 new species comprise Acremonium chiangraiense,Adustochaete nivea,Angustimassarina camporesii,Bhagirathimyces himalayensis,Brunneoclavispora camporesii,Camarosporidiella camporesii,Camporesiomyces mali,Camposporium appendiculatum,Camposporium multiseptatum,Camposporium septatum,Canalisporium aquaticium,Clonostachys eriocamporesiana,Clonostachys eriocamporesii,Colletotrichum hederiicola,Coniochaeta vineae,Conioscypha verrucosa,Cortinarius ainsworthii,Cortinarius aurae,Cortinarius britannicus,Cortinarius heatherae,Cortinarius scoticus,Cortinarius subsaniosus,Cytospora fusispor
