The large current generated by a direct start of the super-large-capacity high-voltage induction motor would have a huge impact on the power grid as well as the motor *** soft starters have the shortcomings of discontinuous adjustment,voltage sags,sudden torque mutation,secondary current impact and high *** resolve this issue,the authors propose a novel coupled autotransformer and magnetic-control(CATMC)soft-start *** structure of the new CATMC soft starter combines the functions of the autotransformer and magnetic control reactor via an innovative electric and magnetic circuit *** this study,the authors analyse the magnetic circuit structure and working principles of the CATMC soft ***,to validate its principle and performance,the authors conduct a simulation study using ANSYS software and design and test an 18 MW/10 kV CATMC soft starter *** simulation results demonstrate that the CATMC soft starter effectively avoids secondary current impact and constrains the motor starting current to<2.5 times the rated *** public connection point bus voltage also meets the voltage sag requirement of the IEEE standard and reduces the impact on the power grid.

Aiming at the problem that the existing labeled multi-Bernoulli(LMB) method has a single and fixed model set, an LMB maneuvering target tracking algorithm via Takagi-Sugeno-Kang(TSK) iterative regression multiple model is proposed. In the TSK iterative regression modeling, the feature information of the targets is analyzed and represented by multiple semantic fuzzy sets. Then the state is expanded to introduce model information, thereby the adaptive multi-model idea is incorporated into the framework of the LMB method to solve the uncertain maneuverability of moving targets. Finally,the simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively achieve maneuvering target tracking in the nonlinear system.

The design of a high-speed decoder using traditional partly parallel architecture for Non-Quasi-Cyclic（NQC） Low-Density Parity-Check（LDPC） codes is a challenging problem due to its high memory-block cost and low hardware utilization efficiency. In this paper, we present efficient hardware implementation schemes for NQCLDPC codes. First, we propose an implementation-oriented construction scheme for NQC-LDPC codes to avoid memory-access conflict in the partly parallel decoder. Then, we propose a Modified Overlapped Message-Passing（MOMP） algorithm for the hardware implementation of NQC-LDPC codes. This algorithm doubles the hardware utilization efficiency and supports a higher degree of parallelism than that used in the Overlapped Message Passing（OMP） technique proposed in previous works. We also present single-core and multi-core decoder architectures in the proposed MOMP algorithm to reduce memory cost and improve circuit efficiency. Moreover, we introduce a technique called the cycle bus to further reduce the number of block RAMs in multi-core decoders. Using numerical examples, we show that, for a rate-2/3, length-15360 NQC-LDPC code with 8.43-d B coding gain for Binary PhaseShift Keying（BPSK） in an Additive White Gaussian Noise（AWGN） channel, the decoder with the proposed scheme achieves a 23.8%–52.6% reduction in logic utilization per Mbps and a 29.0%–90.0% reduction in message-memory bits per Mbps.

In this paper, the performance analysis of MIMO systems with arbitrary number transmit antenna selection(TAS) and orthogonal space-time block coding(STBC) in Rayleigh fading channels for imperfect channel state information(CSI) is presented. For the performance analysis, the moment generating function of the system effective SNR as well as its upper and lower bounds are derived. Then, accurate and approximate expressions of bit error rate(BER) of MIMO-TAS-STBC with MPSK and MQAM are further derived. Using the approximate BER formula and imperfect CSI, an adaptive antenna selection scheme is developed for minimizing the BER. The diversity gain and coding gain are analyzed at high SNR. The results indicate that the MIMOTAS-STBC for imperfect CSI can only achieve partial diversity order K N and the coding gain is affected by K,N, code rate, modulation pattern, and channel correlation coefficients, when K transmit antennas are selected and N receive antennas are used. Simulation results show that the theoretical analysis matches the simulation result well, and the approximate expressions are close to the accurate ones but have a lower complexity.

The large current generated by starting directly of super large capacity and high voltage induction motor would have a huge impact on the grid as well as the motor *** variation of the power factor and electromagnetic torque during direct start of motors with different capacity and voltage levels are *** at the problem that the secondary impact of auto-transformer starter is too large and the cost of magnetic control starter is too high,the auto-transformer and magnetic control soft start method of super large capacity and high voltage motor is proposed and the basic working principle is *** calculation formula of cost for magnetic control soft starter and auto-transformer and magnetic control soft starter is deduced,and specific examples are analyzed and *** is concluded that the choice of auto-transformer with appropriate tapping ratio can greatly reduce the cost of auto-transformer and magnetic control soft starter compared with the other ***,the simulation and experiment results show that the start method can effectively avoid secondary current impact and constrain the motor starting current to less than 2.5 times the rated current.

Action Recognition with Temporal Scale-Invariant Deep Learning Framework

Recognizing actions according to video features is an important problem in a wide scope of applications. In this paper, we propose a temporal *** deep learning framework for action recognition, which is robust to the change of action speed. Specifically, a video is firstly split into several *** clips and a keyframe is selected from each *** clip. The spatial and motion features of the keyframe are extracted separately by two Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN) and combined in the convolutional fusion layer for learning the relationship between the features. Then, Long Short Term Memory(LSTM) networks are applied to the fused features to formulate *** temporal clues. Finally, the action prediction scores of the LSTM network are combined by linear weighted summation. Extensive experiments are conducted on two popular and challenging benchmarks, namely, the UCF.101 and the HMDB51 Human Actions. On both benchmarks, our framework achieves superior results over the *** methods by 93.7% on UCF.101 and 69.5% on HMDB51, respectively.
