Crosstalk between xenobiotic metabolism and energy metabolism in the liver has provided a potential opportunity to target xenobiotic receptors to treat metabolic *** of constitutive andro stane receptor(CAR),a xenobiotic-sensing nuclear receptor,has been shown to inhibit obesity,suppress hepatic gluconeogenesis,and ameliorate hyperglycemia in rodent models of obesity and type 2 ***,the underlying molecular mechanism remains to be *** growth arrest and DNA damage-inducible gene 45 b(Gadd45 b),a well-known anti-apoptotic factor,has been shown to be an inducible coactivator of CAR in promoting rapid liver *** is unknown whether the effect of CAR on energy metabolism depends on GADD45 *** the present study and by using a high fat diet(HFD)-induced obesity model,we show that reduced body weight gain and improved insulin sensitivity by the CAR agonist 1,4-bis[2-(3,5-dichloropyridyloxy)]benzene(TCPOBOP)were markedly blunted in Gadd45 b knockout ***,the TCPOBOP-responsive inhibition of hepatic lipogenesis,gluconeogenesis,and adipose inflammation observed in wild type mice were largely abolished in Gadd45 b knockout *** conclude that Gadd45 b is required in part for the metabolic benefits of CAR activation.

In this paper we extend the source transfer domain decomposition method(STDDM)introduced by the authors to solve the Helmholtz problems in two-layered media,the Helmholtz scattering problems with bounded scatterer,and Helmholtz problems in 3D unbounded *** STDDM is based on the decomposition of the domain into non-overlapping layers and the idea of source transfer which transfers the sources equivalently layer by layer so that the solution in the final layer can be solved using a PML method defined locally outside the last two *** details of STDDM is given for each *** results are presented to demonstrate the efficiency of STDDM as a preconditioner for solving the discretization problem of the Helmholtz problems considered in the paper.

Objective: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a severe chronic disease that results in high morbidity and mortality. DM causes endothelial injury， such as endothelial inflammation， oxidative stress and dysfunction， as a basis for cardiovascular complications of DM. Therefore， blockage of DM-induced endothelial injury (DEI) is a viable strategy for the prevention of DM-caused adverse outcomes. However， few effective approaches have been developed for the intervention of DEI. Krill oil (KO) has been reported to have anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative activities， but its effect on DEI is unknown. Hence， the aims of this study were to investigate the effect and molecular mechanism of KO on ***: To investigated the preventive effect of krill oil (KO) on DEI， streptozotocin and high-fat diet-induced mice model of type 2 DM were fed with KO for 6months. RNA sequencing for endothelial cells (ECs) was used to explore the mechanism of KO’s protective function. To clarify the role of NRF2 signaling in KO’s protective function on DEI， KO was given to Nfe2l2 gene-silenced ECs or knockout mice. Molecular docking assay and surface plasmon resonance assay were carried out to reveal the ability of the main components of KO to bind KEAP1. Results: KO significantly alleviated DEI and aortic pathological injury in the wild-type diabetic mice. RNA sequencing revealed that KO dramatically activated nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nfe2l2/NRF2) antioxidant signaling in high glucose-challenged ECs， the effect of which was further confirmed in the diabetic aortas. Nfe2l2 gene deletion or silencing completely abolished KO’s protection against DEI in vivo and in vitro， demonstrating that NRF2 was required for KO’s action. Further， molecular docking assay and surface plasmon resonance assay identified that KO’s functional component astaxanthin (AST)， but not docosahexaenoic acid and eicosapentaenoic acid， was able to bind the Kelch domain of Kelch like ECH associated protein 1 (KE

A machine learning approach for accelerated design of magnesium alloys. part A:Alloy data and property space

Typically, magnesium alloys have been designed using a so-called hill-climbing approach, with rather incremental advances over the past century. Iterative and incremental alloy design is slow and expensive, but more importantly it does not harness all the data that exists in the field. In this work, a new approach is proposed that utilises data science and provides a detailed understanding of the data that exists in the field of Mg-alloy design to date. In this approach, first a consolidated alloy database that incorporates 916 datapoints was developed from the literature and experimental work. To analyse the characteristics of the database, alloying and thermomechanical processing effects on mechanical properties were explored via composition-process-property matrices. An unsupervised machine learning(ML) method of clustering was also implemented, using unlabelled data, with the aim of revealing potentially useful information for an alloy representation space of low dimensionality. In addition, the alloy database was correlated to thermodynamically stable secondary phases to further understand the relationships between microstructure and mechanical properties. This work not only introduces an invaluable open-source database, but it also provides, for the first-time data, insights that enable future accelerated digital Mg-alloy design.

part Supply Method for Mixed-Model Assembly Lines with Decentralized Supermarkets

In-house part supply affects the efficiency of mixed-model assembly lines considerably. Hence, we propose a reliable Just-In-Time part supply strategy with the use of decentralized supermarkets. For a given production sequence and line layout, the proposed strategy schedules tow train routing and delivery problems jointly to minimize the number of employed town trains and the traveling time, while ensuring that stations never run out of parts. To solve this problem, a mathematical formulation is proposed for each sub-problem aiming at minimizing supply cost. Then, a dynamic programming algorithm for routing and a greedy algorithm for delivery are developed, both of which are of polynomial runtime. Finally, a computational study is implemented to validate the effectiveness of the strategy, and to investigate the effects of the delivery capacity of tow trains and storage capacity of stations on supply cost.

An Observational Study of the 30-50 Day Atmospheric Oscillations part II: Temporal Evolution and Hemispheric Interaction across the Equator

The annual variation of 30-50 day oscillation is quite obvious in the mid-high latitudes. In the tropical atmosphere the obvious interannual variation is an important property for temporal evolution of 30-50 day oscillation. The low-frequency wavetrain across the equator over the central Pacific and central Atlantic area the movement of the long-lived low-frequency system across the equator and the meridional wind component across the equator will obviously show the interaction of 30-50 day oscillation in the atmosphere across the equator.

In this part, the temporal evolution and interaction across the equator of 30-50 day oscillation in the atmosphere are investigated further. The annual variation of 30-50 day oscillation is quite obvious in the mid-high latitudes. In the tropical atmosphere, the obvious interannual variation is an important property for temporal evolution of 30-50 day oscillation.
