Formation of the Neoproterozoic Rifting Depression Groups of the Tarim Basin and its Hydrocarbon Potential: Responded to the Initial Opening of the Proto-Tethy Ocean

The largest and superimposed Tarim basin developed on the one of the three bigger craton, Tarim Craton, in *** early Paleozoic is the heyday of its development and cratonization, and then changes to the different property basin. The reserved sedimentary strata of Neoproterozoicare recognized mainly in the local of outcrops periphery orogenic belts, but drilling core in the basin reveals them seldom. The proto-type of the initial Tarim Basinis always a mystery. The vast desert, hugethickness of sedimentary strata, multiple tectonic movements, and a low quality of deep data are the keys to getting to know him. We comprehensive field outcrops, wells, seismic reflection profiles with higher SNRs and aeromagnetic data, recognized about 20 normal fault-controlled rifting depressions of the Cryogenian and Ediacaran, which scattered throughout the basin, and developed on the Precambrian metamorphic and crystalline basement. The structural framework is clearly different from that of the overlying Phanerozoic. The rifting depressions consist of mainly half grabens, symmetrical troughs and horst-grabens. from the northeast to southwest of the basin, they are divided into three rifting depression groups(RDG)with the WNW, ENE, and NW-trends that are mainly controlled by normal faults. from the Cryogenian to Ediacaran, most of the main inherited faults to active and eventually ceased at the end of the Ediacaran or Early Cambrian, while subsidence centers appeared and migrated eastward along the faults. They formed under the NNESSW oriented and NNW-SSE-oriented extensional paleo-stress fields(relative to the present) during the Neoproterozoic, and were accompanied by clockwise shearing. According to the analysis of the activities of syn-sedimentary faults, filling sediments, magmatic events, and coordination with aeromagnetic anomalies, the tectonic properties of the fault depressions are different and are primarily continental rifts or intra-continental fault-controlled bas

Remnants of a Middle Triassic Oceanic Lithosphere in the Western Yarlung Zangbo Suture Zone, Southern Tibet

Discontinuous ophiolite suites along the Yarlung Zangbo suture zone(YZSZ)in southern Tibet representing remnants of the Neo-Tethyan oceanic lithosphere are considered to be formed between Late Jurassic and Early *** ophiolite or ophiolitic mélange(***)to reveal the initial evolution the Neo-Tethyan ocean within the YZSZ have rarely been documented so *** western YZSZ extending from the Saga to Ladakh area are composed of the northern ophiolitic subbelt,the Zhongba terrane and the southern ophiolitic *** this study,we document structural,petrological and geochronological data of mafic intrusions from the Mayoumu massif in the southern ophiolitic sub-belt of the western *** lithos-tectonic sub-units,the southern ophiolitic complex and the northern ophiolitic mélange,are recognized in the Mayoumu massif in terms of structural pattern and ***-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating of gabbro from the ophiolitic mélange yields an age of 243±1 Ma with zirconεHf(t)values of+7.9 to+*** samples of diabase samples from the ophiolite yield ages of 131±1 Ma and 124±1 Ma with zirconεHf(t)values ranging from+10.8 to+15.0 and+12.3 to+15.4,***,rare earth elements(REEs)patterns show that these mafic intrusions are similar to those of the normal mid-ocean-ridge basalt(N-MORB).Enrichment of fluidmobile elements(*** and Ba)and depletion of Nb,and Ta suggest that these intrusions were possibly originated from melting of a depleted mantle source influenced by subducted *** data strongly confirms that the Neo-Tethyan ocean between the Lhasa terrane and Gondwana had been existed since the Middle Triassic at *** ages of the two diabases from the ophiolitic complex reveal that mafic magma activities within the Neo-Tethyan ocean could be as a continuing process during 120–130 *** and preservation of older ophiolitic recorder during evolution of the Neo-Tethyan Ocean may be closely related to the occurrence

Background:Several studies have reported that polygenic risk scores(PRSs)can enhance risk prediction of coronary artery disease(CAD)in European ***,research on this topic is far from sufficient in non-European countries,including *** aimed to evaluate the potential of PRS for predicting CAD for primary prevention in the chinese ***:Participants with genome-wide genotypic data from the China Kadoorie Biobank were divided into training(n=28,490)and testing sets(n=72,150).Ten previously developed PRSs were evaluated,and new ones were developed using clumping and thresholding or LDpred *** PRS showing the strongest association with CAD in the training set was selected to further evaluate its effects on improving the traditional CAD risk-prediction model in the testing *** risk was computed by summing the product of the weights and allele dosages across genome-wide single-nucleotide *** of the 10-year first CAD events was assessed using hazard ratios(HRs)and measures of model discrimination,calibration,and net reclassification improvement(NRI).Hard CAD(nonfatal I21-I23 and fatal I20-I25)and soft CAD(all fatal or nonfatal I20-I25)were analyzed ***:In the testing set,1214 hard and 7201 soft CAD cases were documented during a mean follow-up of 11.2 *** HR per standard deviation of the optimal PRS was 1.26(95%CI:1.19-1.33)for hard *** on a traditional CAD risk prediction model containing only non-laboratory-based information,the addition of PRS for hard CAD increased Harrell’s C index by 0.001(-0.001 to 0.003)in women and 0.003(0.001 to 0.005)in *** the different high-risk thresholds ranging from 1%to 10%,the highest categorical NRI was 3.2%(95%CI:0.4-6.0%)at a high-risk threshold of 10.0%in *** association of the PRS with soft CAD was much weaker than with hard CAD,leading to minimal or no improvement in the soft CAD ***:In this chinese population sam

The Yarlung Zangbo suture zone extends more than2000 km along southern Tibet and marks the boundary between the Indian subcontinent and *** Zedong terrane has been not suggested to represent the vestige of such an intra-oceanic arc developed within the Neo-Tethys Ocean,as a result of the northward subduction of the Neo-Tethys Ocean during the Late *** this study,we present detailed geochemical and geochronological data of various types of magmatic rocks widely exposed in the Zedong terrane to constrain the formation age and tectonic setting of the Zedong *** found that the Zedong volcanic rocks belong to high K2O calc-alkaline series,whereas the diabase and gabbro plotted in the low-K *** basalt rocks are highly enriched in LREE and LILE,but strongly depleted in HFSE,indicating they were derived from a metasomatized *** gabbros and diabase have similar N-MORB geochemistry indicates that the cumulates were produced from MOR *** from four samples,including the basalt rocks(158-161Ma)are older than the gabbro(131 Ma),certificate the gabbro are as the vein intrude into the basalt *** suggests that the volcanic eruption and plutonic emplacement were coevally developed in the Zedonghave similar positiveεHf(t)values(+2.0 to+15.6)and(+8.6 to+18.4),indicating they were stemmed from similarly depleted mantle sources,same with the gabbro and granitic rocks from the Gangdese ***,we proposed that the basalt rocks in the Zedong terrane were formed through partial melting of the mantle wedge metasomatized by slab-released fluids/melts.A part of hydrous basalts were underplated in the thickened lower crust beneath the Zedong terrane,which gave rise to the cumulate and granitic *** suggests that the Zedong terrane represents a slice of the active continental margin developed on the southern margin of the Lhasa terrane as a result of the northward subduction of the Neo-Tethys Ocean during the Late Jurassic

Background:Severe liver disease(SLD),including cirrhosis and liver cancer,constitutes a major disease burden in *** aimed to examine the association of genetic and healthy lifestyle factors with the incidence and prognosis of ***:The study population included 504,009 participants from the prospective China Kadoorie Biobank aged 30-79 *** individuals were from 10 diverse areas in China without a history of cancer or liver disease at *** regression was used to estimate adjusted hazard ratios(HRs)for incident SLD and death after SLD diagnosis associated with healthy lifestyle factors(smoking,alcohol,physical activity,and central adiposity).Additionally,the contribution of genetic risk for hepatitis B virus(HBV,assessed by genetic variants in major histocompatibility complex,class II,DP/DQ[HLA-DP/DQ]genes)was also ***:Compared with those with 0-1 healthy lifestyle factor,participants with 2,3,and 4 factors had 12%(HR 0.88[95%confidence interval[CI]0.85,0.92]),26%(HR 0.74[95%CI:0.69,0.79]),and 44%(HR 0.56[95%CI:0.48,0.65])lower risks of SLD,*** associations were observed among participants with both low and high genetic risks(HR per 1-point increase 0.83[95%CI:0.74,0.94]and 0.91[95%CI:0.82,1.02],respectively;P_(interaction)=0.51),although with a non-significant trend among those with a high genetic *** associations were also observed between healthy lifestyle factors and liver biomarkers regardless of the genetic *** the limited power,healthy lifestyle factors were associated with a lower risk of death after incident SLD among participants with a low genetic risk(HR 0.59[95%CI:0.37,0.96]).Conclusions:Lifestyle modification may be beneficial in terms of lowering the risk of SLD regardless of the genetic ***,it is also important for improving the prognosis of SLD in individuals with a low genetic *** studies are warranted to examine the impact of healthy lifestyles on SLD prognos
