By using triaxial-particle-rotor model with a perturbation term,ΔI=2 staggering effects in the γ-transition energies of superdeformed bands built upon j_(15/2) orbitals are *** general features of ΔI=2 staggering which have been observed are obtained in the *** model provides a possibility to fit the calculated values to the experimental data.

Through particle-rotor model, band structure of superdeformed bands in odd-A Hg nuclei is analysed. An overall and excellent agreement between the calculated and observed kinematic and dynamic moments of inertia is obtained. The electromagnetic transition properties of SD bands can be used to identify the configuration with certainty.

A new series of rare earth compounds,Y2-xErxMo4O15 （x=0.0-2.0）,were synthesized and their structures were determined by powder X-ray diffraction （XRD）. Rietveld analysis of XRD patterns reveals that the compounds of this series crystallize in monoclinic system with space group P21/c. The lattice parameters a,b,c,β and the unit cell volume V de-crease linearly with increasing Er content. The thermal expansion properties of these compounds were studied under high-temperature XRD. Positive thermal expansions of compounds Y2-xErxMo4O15 are found to be anisotropic along the three crystallographic directions where a and c axes expand while b axis contracts in the whole temperature range. By analysis of data,the expansion of weak band Mo2-O14 with rising temperature should be responsible for positive thermal expansion.

High-spin states in the odd-proton nucleus^(135)pm have been investigated using the^(107)Ag(^(32)S,2p2n)^(135)pm *** rotational bands have been observed in^(135)*** yrast band based on a decoupled h_(11/2)proton is found to have a band crossing in ω_(c)~0.43 MeV/*** positive-parity bands based on the two signature components of the πg_(7/2)5/2^(+)[413]Nilsson orbital have been observed in the main *** favoured band with(π,α)=(+,1/2)has been shown to populate below the first pair of proton *** bands have shown upbend at ω_(1)~0.26 MeV/h and ω_(2)~0.43 MeV/*** crossing frequencies can be attributed to the decoupling of the first pair of h_(11/2) quasi-proton and h_(11/2) quasi-neutron,*** weaker bands have been observed in sidebands *** them,two states are possibly built on aπd_(5)/23/2^(+)[411]configuration.

In order to carry out the measurement of heavy nuclei in accelerator mass spectrometry, characteristic X-rays of the incident projectile have been explored and used as a method for isobar discrimination. The projectile X-ray combined with AMS technique has been set up in china institute of Atomic Energy. The measurement of 79Se was performed by resorting to the projectile X-ray AMS technique and the detection sensitivity of 79Se was improved more than 2 orders of magnitude. The detection limit was about 3.6x 10-9 for 79Se/Se.

High spin states of the odd-proton nucleus ^(167)Lu have been studied via ^(152)Sm(^(19)F,4n)^(167)Lu reaction at 87MeV beam energy.A weakly populated new rotationa1 band has been observed and assigned as i13/2 proton 1/2^(+)[660] *** new band and the 1/2^(+)[660] band in ^(171)Ta from the early work are classified as superdeformed bands with triaxiality.

High-spin states in^(84)Rb have been studied by using the^(70)Zn(^(18)O,p3n)^(84)Rb reaction at a beam energy of 75 ***γ-γcoincidence,excitation function and ratios for directional correlation of oriented states were performed.A new level scheme was established in which the positive and negative parity bands have been extended up to 17^(+)and 17^(-)with excitation energy about *** signature splitting and signature inversion of the positive parity yrast bands were observed and are discussed.

An L band RF linac is now under installation at CIAE to provide intense electronbeam for a far-infrared free-electron laser *** linac consists of a DC thermionicgun,a subharmonic prebuncher,a buncher,an accelerating section and a beam transport *** the INEX(Integrated Numerical Experiment)conducted for prediction of the perfor-mance of the complex and the comparison of some of the simulation results with available ex-perimental data,it shows that the beam quality can satisfy our FEL requirements.
