Prevalence and clinical impact of sarcopenia in liver transplant recipients:A meta-analysis

BACKGROUND The prevalence of sarcopenia in patients undergoing liver transplantation(LT)remains to be determined partly because of different diagnostic *** has recently been recognized as a new prognostic factor for predicting outcomes in LT *** To estimate the prevalence of sarcopenia and evaluate its clinical effect on LT *** This systematic search was conducted in PubMed,Web of Science,Embase,and Cochrane Library for original English-language articles that investigated the prevalence and influence of sarcopenia in patients undergoing LT from database inception to November 30,*** studies of the definition of sarcopenia that estimate sarcopenia prevalence and evaluate its effect on clinical outcomes and the risk of mortality were *** Twenty-five studies involving 7760 patients undergoing LT were *** pooled prevalence of sarcopenia in patients undergoing LT was 40.7%[95%confidence intervals(95%CI):32.1-49.6].The 1-,3-,and 5-year cumulative probab-ilities of post-LT survival in patients with preoperative sarcopenia were all lower than those without sarcopenia(P<0.05).Sarcopenia was associated with an increased risk of post-LT mortality in patients undergoing LT(adjusted hazard ratio:1.58;95%CI:1.21-2.07).Patients with preoperative sarcopenia had a longer intensive care unit stay,a high risk ratio of sepsis,and serious post-LT complications than those without *** Sarcopenia is prevalent in a substantial proportion of patients undergoing LT and is strongly and independently associated with higher a risk of mortality risk.

analysis of the Spatio-Temporal Characteristics of Winter Surface Urban Heat Island: A Case Study in Beijing, China

This study reveals the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of the winter nighttime urban heat island(UHI) effect in the case of Beijing, China. The land surface temperature(LST) is retrieved by radiative transfer equation by using the remote sensing data from Landsat ETM+/OLI＿TIRS from 2007 to 2017 for the winter nighttime period, and LST is then divided by the mean-standard deviation method into different levels of thermal landscapes. A combination of the migration calculation of gravity center and multi-directional profile analysis is used to study the directional differentiation characteristics of LST and the migratory characteristics of the gravity center of UHI. Finally, the overall temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of winter nighttime surface urban heat island(SUHI) in Beijing are studied, and the possible reasons for the changes are discussed. Results show that Beijing ' s UHI effect first increased and subsequently decreased from 2007 to 2017. The winter heat island in the urban area developed from low-density agglomeration to high-density agglomeration to lowdensity diffusion. Additionally, the high-level thermal landscapes migrated to the southwest along with the city center of gravity, and the expansion rate is fastest in the southwest, which is directly linked to the changes in the urban construction land. Moreover, the overall spatial distribution of winter nighttime LST is high in the east and south and low in the west and north, and is influenced by topography, land cover, urbanization, anthropogenic heat, and other factors as well.

Cutting the roots of sugarcane using cutters is a critical part of sugarcane harvesting,and the degree of breakage of the roots after cutting affects the germination and growth of sugarcane to a certain extent in the following ***,the intricate interactions between the cutter and the stalk remain *** order to fill this gap,this study first analyzed the conditions for no missed cuts during the operation of a double-disk ***,the research established a model of sugarcane stalk with anisotropy using the User-defined Material Mechanical Behavior(UMAT)subroutine based on the secondary development module of ABAQUS/*** cutting force curves obtained from simulation and test show a high correlation coefficient(R^(2)=0.9621),indicating the reliability of the model of sugarcane stalk in mechanical ***,the simulation test of the blade rotating cutting characteristics in this study indicates that at a blade tilt angle of 11.3°,a blade rotating speed of 659.3 r/min,and a forward speed of 1.5 km/h,the maximum shear force on the blade is the largest,while the maximum cutting force is the ***,based on the simulation results,this paper discussed the internal factors affecting the breakage rate of sugarcane stalks and predicted the damage location and damage force of the stalks by studying the stress wave transmission ***,it analyzed the effects of single-knife cutting and multi-cutting on stalk *** results indicated that multi-cutting causes more damage to the stalks and increases the breakage rate of *** results of this study can provide a theoretical basis and technical reference for exploring the reduction of sugarcane residual cutting rate.

Literature Review of Driving Fatigue Research based on Bibliometric analysis

Driving for a long time can lead to fatigue， which can affect information processing and decision-making， potentially threatening driving safety. By exploring the generation and variation patterns of driving fatigue and clarifying the application status of its detection and warning technology， traffic safety can be improved. In order to understand the research progress of driving fatigue， based on the Web of Science core database， this paper obtained 2127 English literature published from 1998 to 2023 (as of May 12， 2023)， covering a total of 5963 authors and 6019 keywords， and the bibliometric tool VOSviewer and R-Bibliometrix are used to analyze the literatures. Firstly， the literature statistical analysis is carried out from annual distribution， country distribution， source journals， and core authors. Secondly， the research hotspots and trends are analyzed from keywords co-occurrence， high-impact literature， theme evolution， and development trends. Finally， the development trend of driving fatigue research is discussed. The result shows that the hotspots in the field of driving fatigue include driving fatigue detection， fatigue driving risk and fatigue research of professional drivers， driver alertness and coping strategies for driver fatigue， and driver fatigue under automatic driving. And the improvement of the accuracy and reliability of driving fatigue detection will be the difficult point to break through in the future. It is necessary to build a multi-disciplinary and meticulously quantified driving fatigue and its risk assessment system， and strengthen the control of fatigue risks. Research on intervention measures and education training for professional drivers needs to be deepened， while exploring the acceptance and compliance of intervention measures. Moreover， the evolution law and prevention strategies of driver fatigue under automatic conditions should be the focus of future research.
