Solid waste management needs,increasing pollution level by burning or dumping of waste,and the use of fossil fuels and depleting energy resources are a few of the problems of the decade that need to find *** of lots of compound polymers-rich biomass waste is done worldwide by dumping on land or into water bodies or else by incineration or long-term storage in an available facility *** kind of disposal instead becomes a reason to add the soil,water,and air pollution.A lot of multidisciplinary collaboration in different streams of science and technology has added to the efficiency of using such waste for use as an alternative energy form,like biogas and *** use of biogas plants for converting biological waste into methane using municipal solid waste(MSW)is known since a long *** with MSW,a lot of other agricultural waste and kitchen waste are also added every day to *** the complex components of such waste material like lignocellulosic wastes still don’t pass the test of qualifying as a resource for biogas and even more energy-efficient and cleaner biofuel,*** may be because of its complicated structure and a lot of parameters that affect its use for converting it into *** review is designed to analyze and compare these parameters for optimum lignocellulosic waste conversion,more specifically agriculture and food waste,into cleaner energy forms that would help to tackle the solid waste management and air pollution control more effectively.

This research presents a review on water resources in Delta state,southern part of Nigeria,with emphasis on hydrogeochemical and microbial *** evaluates factors responsible for water contamination,and their resulting health challenges within the study *** achieve the objective of this study,related articles were downloaded from Google,published article on influence of hydrogeochemical and microbial activities on water *** articles were thoroughly *** from this study,suggested that groundwater was more studied than surface wa*** also observed that groundwater within the riverine communities is much more prone to pollution when compared to groundwater in an upland *** from various authors suggested that,larger percentage of groundwater showed presence of *** findings suggested that geochemical processes such as rock water interaction,seawater intrusion and precipitation influences groundwater quality within the study area especially within Sombreiro-Warri Deltaic Plain Deposit.

A robust deep structured prediction model for petroleum reservoir characterization using pressure transient test data

A robust deep learning model consisting of long short-term memory and fully connected neural net-works has been proposed to automatically interpret homogeneous petroleum reservoirs having infinite,no flow,and constant pressure outer boundary *** pressure change data recorded during the well test operation along with its derivative is input into the model to perform the classification for identifying the reservoir model and,further,regression to estimate output *** noise was added to analytical models while generating the synthetic training *** hyperparameters were regulated to perform model optimization,resulting in a batch size of 64,Adam optimization algorithm,learning rate of 0.01,and 80:10:10 data split ratio as the best choices of *** perfor-mance accuracy also increased with an increase in the number of samples during *** classification and regression metrics have been used to evaluate the performance of the *** paper also demonstrates the prediction performance of the optimized model using simulated and actual oil well pressure drawdown test *** proposed model achieved minimum and maximum relative errors of 0.0019 and 0.0308,respectively,in estimating output for the simulated test cases and relative error of 0.0319 for the real test case.

This study investigates the impact of pore network characteristics on fluid flow through complex and heterogeneous porous media,providing insights into the factors affecting fluid propagation in such ***,high-resolution or micro X-ray computed tomography(CT)imaging techniques were utilized to examine outcrop stromatolite samples of the Lagoa Salgada,considered flow analogous to the Brazilian Pre-salt carbonate *** petrophysical results comprised two distinct stromatolite depositional facies,the columnar and the fine-grained *** generating pore network model(PNM),the study quantified the relationship between key features of the porous system,including pore and throat radius,throat length,coordination number,shape factor,and pore *** study found that the less dense pore network of the columnar sample is typically characterized by larger pores and wider and longer throats but with a weaker connection of throats to *** facies exhibited less variability in the radius of the pores and throats in comparison to throat ***,a series of core flooding experiments coupled with medical CT scanning was designed and conducted in the plug samples to assess flow propagation and saturation *** study revealed that the heterogeneity and presence of disconnected or dead-end pores significantly impacted the flow patterns and ***-phase flow patterns and oil saturation distribution reveal a preferential and heterogeneous displacement that mainly swept displaced fluid in some regions of plugs and bypassed it in *** relation between saturation profiles,porosity profiles,and the number of fluid flow patterns for the samples was *** for the columnar plug sample was the enhancement in recovery factor after shifting to lower salinity water injection(SB)observed.
