The centrifugal pump is a prevalent power equipment widely used in different engineering patterns,and the impeller blade wrap angle significantly impacts its performance.A numerical investigation was conducted to analyze the influence of the blade wrap angle on flow characteristics and energy distribution of a centrifugal pump evaluated as a low specific speed with a value of *** study investigates six impellermodels that possess varying blade wrap angles(95°,105°,115°,125°,135°,and 145°)that were created while maintaining the same volute and other geometrical *** investigation of energy loss was conducted to evaluate the values of total and entropy generation rates(TEG,EGR).The fluid-structure interaction was considered numerically using the software tools ANSYS Fluent and *** elastic structural dynamic equation was used to estimate the structural response,while the shear stress transport k–ωturbulence model was utilized for the fluid domain *** findings suggest that the blade wrap angle has a significant influence on the efficiency of the *** impeller featuring a blade wrap angle of 145°exhibits higher efficiency,with a notable increase of 3.76%relative to the original *** in the blade wrap angle impact the energy loss,shaft power,and pump *** model with a 145°angle exhibited a maximum equivalent stress of 14.8MPa and a total deformation of 0.084 *** results provide valuable insights into the intricate flow mechanism of the centrifugal pump,particularly when considering various blade wrap angles.

The syntheses of nanosized carbonated hydroxyapatite （CHA） were performed by comparing dropwise and direct pouring of acetone solution of Ca（NO3）2·4H2O into mixture of （NH4）2HPO4 and NH4HCO3 at room temperature controlled at pH 11. Direct pouring method was later applied to study the increment of carbonate content in syntheses. The as-synthesized powders were characterized by various characterization techniques. The crystallographic results of the produced powders were obtained from X-ray diffraction analysis, whilst the carbonate content in the produced powders was determined by the CHNS/O elemental analyzer. Fourier transform infrared analysis confirmed that the CHA powders formed were B-type. Field emission scanning electron microscopy revealed that the powders were highly agglomerated in nanosized range and hence energy filtered transmission electron microscopy was employed to show elongated particles which decreased with increasing carbonate content.

The purpose of this work is to remove Pb（II） from the aqueous solution using a type of hydrogel composite. A hydrogel composite consisting of waste linear low density polyethylene, acrylic acid, starch, and organo-montmorillonite was prepared through emulsion polymerization method. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（FTIR）, Solid carbon nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy（CNMR））, silicon-29 nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy（Si NMR））, and X-ray diffraction spectroscope（（XRD） were applied to characterize the hydrogel composite. The hydrogel composite was then employed as an adsorbent for the removal of Pb（II） from the aqueous solution. The Pb（II）-loaded hydrogel composite was characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（FTIR））,scanning electron microscopy（SEM））, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（（XPS））. From XPS results, it was found that the carboxyl and hydroxyl groups of the hydrogel composite participated in the removal of Pb（II）. Kinetic studies indicated that the adsorption of Pb（II）followed the pseudo-second-order equation. It was also found that the Langmuir model described the adsorption isotherm better than the Freundlich isotherm. The maximum removal capacity of the hydrogel composite for Pb（II） ions was 430 mg/g. Thus, the waste linear low-density polyethylene-g-poly（acrylic acid）-co-starch/organo-montmorillonite hydrogel composite could be a promising Pb（II） adsorbent.

We investigated growth of GaN pn-junction layers grown on silicon（111） by plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy system and its application for photo-devices. Si and Mg were used as n- and p-dopants, respectively. The reflection high energy electron diffraction images indicated a good surface morphology of GaN pn-junction layer. The thickness of GaN pn- junctions layers was about 0.705 nm. The absence of cubic phase GaN showed that thiS layer possessed hexagonal structure. According to XRD symmetric rocking curve ω/2θ scans of （0002） plane at room temperature, the full width at half-maximun of GaN pn-junction sample was calculated as 0.34°, indicating a high quality layer of GaN pn-junction. Surprisingly, there was no quenching of the A1 （LO） peak, with the presence of Si- and Mg-dopants in sample. The pn-junctions sample has a good optical quality which was measured by the photoluminescence system. For photo-devices applications, Ni and A1 were used as front and back contacts, respectively. The current-voltage characteristics of the devices showed the typical rectifying behavior of heterojunction. The photo-current measurement was performed using a visible-lamp under forward and reverse biases. From the temperature-dependent measurements, the current at low bias exhibited much stronger temperature dependence and weaker field dependence. The effect of thermal annealing on front contact Ni was also carried out. The front contact Ni was annealed at 400 and 600 ℃ for 10 min in the nitrogen ambient. The results showed that 600 ℃ treated sample had a higher gain at 1.00 V/e than 400 ℃ treated and untreated samples.

The detection of brain disease is an essential issue in medical and research *** learning techniques have shown promising results in detecting and diagnosing brain diseases using magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)*** techniques involve training neural networks on large datasets of MRI images,allowing the networks to learn patterns and features indicative of different brain ***,several challenges and limitations still need to be addressed further to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of these *** paper implements a Feature Enhanced Stacked Auto Encoder(FESAE)model to detect brain *** standard stack auto encoder’s results are trivial and not robust enough to boost the system’s ***,the standard Stack Auto Encoder(SAE)is replaced with a Stacked Feature Enhanced Auto Encoder with a feature enhancement function to efficiently and effectively get non-trivial features with less activation energy froman *** proposed model consists of four ***,pre-processing is performed to remove noise,and the greyscale image is converted to Red,Green,and Blue(RGB)to enhance feature details for discriminative feature ***,feature Extraction is performed to extract significant features for classification using DiscreteWavelet Transform(DWT)and ***,classification is performed to classify MRI images into four major classes:Normal,Tumor,Brain Stroke,and Alzheimer’***,the FESAE model outperforms the state-of-theart,machine learning,and deep learning methods such as Artificial Neural Network(ANN),SAE,Random Forest(RF),and Logistic Regression(LR)by achieving a high accuracy of 98.61% on a dataset of 2000 MRI *** proposed model has significant potential for assisting radiologists in diagnosing brain diseases more accurately and improving patient outcomes.
