The correlation of Northwest （NW） Pacific climate anomalies during summer with El Nino/southern Oscillation （ENsO） in the preceding winter strengthens in the mid-1970s and remains high since. This study investigates the hypothesis that the tropical Indian Ocean （TIO） response to ENsO is key to this interdecadal change,using a 21-member ensemble simulation with the Community Atmospheric Model version 3 （CAM3） forced by the observed history of sea surface temperature （ssT） for 1950-2000. In the model hindcast, the TIO influence on the summer NW Pacific strengthens in the mid-1970s, and the strengthened TIO teleconnection coincides with an intensification of summer ssT variability over the TIO. This result is corroborated by the fact the model’s skills in simulating NW Pacific climate anomalies during summer increase after the 1970s shift. During late spring to early summer, El Nino-induced TIO warming decays rapidly for the epoch prior to the 1970s shift but grows and persists through summer for the epoch after. This difference in the evolution of the TIO warming determines the strength of the TIO teleconnection to the NW Pacific in the su.s.quent summer. An anti-symmetric wind pattern develops in spring across the equator over the TIO, and the associated northeasterly anomalies aid the summer warming over the North Indian Ocean by opposing the prevailing southwest monsoon. In the model, this anti-symmetric, spring wind pattern is well-developed after but absent before the 1970s shift.

The Review summarizes much of particle physics and cosmology. using data from previous editions, plus 3,062 new measurements from 721 papers, we list, evaluate, and average measured properties of gauge bosons and the recently discovered Higgs boson, leptons, quarks, mesons, and baryons. We summarize searches for hypothetical particles such as supersymmetric particles, heavy bosons, axions, dark photons, etc. All the particle properties and search limits are listed in summary Tables. We also give numerous tables, figures, formulae, and reviews of topics such as Higgs Boson Physics, supersymmetry, Grand unified Theories, Neutrino Mixing, Dark Energy, Dark Matter, Cosmology, Particle Detectors, Colliders, Probability and statistics. Among the 117 reviews are many that are new or heavily revised, including new reviews on Pentaquarks and Inflation. The complete Review is published online in a journal and on the website of the Particle Data Group （http：//pdg. lbl. gov）. The printed PDG Book contains the summary Tables and all review articles but no longer includes the detailed tables from the Particle Listings. A Booklet with the summary Tables and abbreviated versions of some of the review articles is also available.

This article reviews the Higgs searches at the Tevatron, as presented over the summer of 2012; both standard model （sM） and beyond the standard model （BsM） results are discu.s.d as detailed （arXiv： 1207.0449; Phys. Rev. Lett., 2012, 109： 071804; Phys. Rev. D, 2012, 85： 032005）. We discu.s.the combination of searches by the CDF and DO Collaborations for the standard model Higgs boson in the mass range 100-200 GeV/c2 produced in the the gg →H, WH, ZH, tfH, and vector boson fusion production modes, and decaying in the H → bb, H → W＋W-, H → ZZ, H →π＋π-, and H →γγ modes. The data, collected at the Fermilab Tevatron collider in p/5 collisions at √s = 1.96 TeV, correspond to integrated luminosities of up to 10 fb^-1. In the absence of signal, we expect to exclude the regions 100 〈 mH 〈 120 GeV/c2 and 139 〈 mH 〈 184 GeV/c2. We exclude, at the 95% C.L., two regions： 100 〈 mH 〈 103 GeV/c2, and 147 〈 mH 〈 180 GeV/c2. We observe a significant excess of events in the mass range between 115 and 140 GeV/c2. The local significance corresponds to 3.0 standard deviations at mH = 120 GeV/ce; the global significance （incorporating the lookelsewhere effect） for such an excess anywhere in the full mass range investigated is approximately 2.5 standard deviations. Furthermore, we separately combine searches for H→ bb-, H → W＋W- and H →γγ. We find that the excess is concentrated in the H →bb channel, appearing in the searches over a broad range of raN; the maximum local significance of 3.3 standard deviations corresponds to a global significance of approximately 3.1 standard deviations. The observed signal strengths in all channels are consistent with the expectation for a standard model Higgs boson at mH = 125 GeV/c2. The production of neutral Higgs bosons in association with b-quarks can be significantly enhanced in various beyond the standard model scenarios, including supersymmetry. The recent combination of such searches from the two collaborations is discu.s.d.

目的:观察凋亡抑制蛋白Livin对于膀胱癌细胞系增殖和凋亡的影响。方法:采用脂质体转染法将Livin基因转入膀胱癌T24细胞系,经G418筛选后获得稳定表达Livin的亚克隆细胞系T24/Livin+及仅转染载体的T24/pcDNA 3.1(+)。应用Western blot RT-PCR法来检测Livin在转染细胞中的表达;应用克隆形成试验检测细胞增殖活性;用丝裂霉素C(mitomycin C,MMC)分别作用转染前后的膀胱癌细胞系24h,应用四甲基偶氮唑蓝(MTT)比色法检测转染前后细胞生长抑制率,应用流式细胞仪(FCM)及吖啶橙(AO)染色检测细胞凋亡。结果:成功建立了稳定表达Livin的亚克隆细胞系T24/Livin+及T24/pcDNA 3.1(+)。Western blot及RT-PCR法检测结果表明Livin在T24/Livin+中表达阳性,而在T24与T24/pcDNA 3.1(+)中表达阴性。Livin的表达导致了膀胱癌细胞系更强的细胞增殖能力(P<0.01);经MMC作用24h后,T24/pcD-NA3.1(+)与T24的细胞凋亡率分别为(21.38±2.27)%和(19.60±2.31)%,而T24/Livin+的细胞凋亡率则为(8.65±1.47)%,Livin表达阳性的细胞较阴性组的细胞凋亡率明显减少,差异有统计学意义,P<0.01。结论:Livin基因在膀胱癌细胞系T24中可以诱导细胞增殖,并赋予其在化疗中具有更强的抗凋亡能力。

uch37 is a de-ubiquitinating enzyme that is activated by Rpn13 and involved in the proteasomal degradation of proteins. The full-length uch37 was shown to exhibit low iso-peptidase activity and is thought to be auto-inhibited. structural comparisons revealed that within a homo- dimer of uch37, each of the catalytic domains was blocking the other＇s ubiquitin （ub）-binding site. This blockage likely prevented ub from entering the active site of uch37 and might form the basis of auto-inhibition. To understand the mode of auto-inhibition clearly and shed light on the activation mechanism of uch37 by Rpn13, we investigated the uch37-Rpn13 complex using a combi- nation of mutagenesis, biochemical, NMR, and small- angle X-ray scattering （sAXs） techniqu.s. Our results also proved that uch37 oligomerized in solution and had very low activity against the fluorogenic su.s.rate ubi- quitin-7-amino-4-methylcoumarin （ub-AMC） of de-ubiq- uitinating enzymes. uch37AHb＇Hc＇KEKE, a truncation removal of the C-terminal extension region （residu.s.256- 329） converted oligomeric uch37 into a monomeric form that exhibited iso-peptidase activity comparable to that of a truncation-containing the uch37 catalytic domain only. We also demonstrated that Rpn13C （Rpn13 residu.s.270- 407） could disrupt the oligomerization of uch37 by sequ.s.ering uch37 and forming a uch37-Rpn13 com- plex. uch37 was activated in such a complex, exhibiting 12-fold-higher activity than uch37 alone. Time-resolved sAXs （TR-sAXs） and FRET experiments supported the proposed mode of auto-inhibition and the activation mechanism of uch37 by Rpn13. Rpn13 activated uch37 by forming a 1：1 stoichiometric complex in which the active site of uch37 was accessible to ub.
