The use of either lossless snubbers or resonant zero voltage switching (ZVS) and zero current switching (ZCS) techniques can increase efficiency and reduce electromagnetic inter ference (EMI) and noise of industrial power equipment at high switching frequencies. This paper presents an adaptive composite soft switching configuration which combines snubber functions and resonant ZCS circuits for switches in inverters using power bridge leg modules. Simulation and experimental results are included.

The phosphoinositide 3-kinase-AkT-mammalian target of rapamycin (PI3k-AkT-mTOR) pathway is a frequently hyperactivated pathway in cancer and is important for tumor cell growth and survival. The development of targeted therapies against mTOR, a vital substrate along this pathway, led to the approval of allosteric inhibitors, including everolimus and temsirolimus, for the treatment of breast, renal, and pancreatic cancers. However, the suboptimal duration of response in unselected patients remains an unresolved issue. Numerous novel therapies against critical nodes of this pathway are therefore being actively investigated in the clinic in multiple tumour types. In this review, we focus on the progress of these agents in clinical development along with their biological rationale, the need of predictive biomarkers and various combination strategies, which will be useful in counteracting the mechanisms of resistance to this class of drugs.

In the case of the very large dimensions of the linear control system,the method to find its solutionis still of much concern today even for the time-invariant *** on the simulation of the structuralmechanics with the optimal control theory,the (?)djoint subspace iteration method is proposed in thepresent *** is quite different from the usual approximate method for large systems,which used toreduce the state space of the original system and then to find the solutions of the reduced *** method,however,keeps the original system unchanged,and rotates the adjoint symplectic subspacesin the whole state space with the iterations,which is the combination of the state space and the *** the whole state space is *** the iteration converges,the dominant eigen-solutions of the original system are *** symplectic transformation reflects the characteristicsof the Hamiltonian *** is a kind of contact transformation,and thus its reduced subspace from thetransformed whole state space will be able to keep the dominant characteristics of the original *** other hand,the usual reduced state space method corresponds to the point transformation in themathematical theory of the Harailtonian *** dominant characteristics of the original system willunavoidably be disturbed in the reduced state *** the adjoint symplectic subspace iteration meth-od has a great superiority.

The paper considers three common snubber circuits used on gate turn-off thyristor and/or insulated gate bipolar transistor inverters. The three snubbers are passive lossless circuits for power bridge legs, and the improvements and modifications to these snubber circuits are presented. The comparative features and operation of the three improved energy recovery snubbers are discussed and supported by PSPICE simulations and experimental results.

Gene regulation is inherently a stochastic process due to intrinsic and extrinsic noises which cause the fluctuations and uncertainties of kinetic *** the other hand,time delays are usually inevitable due to different biochemical reactions in the genetic regulatory networks（GRNs）which are also affected by ***,in this paper,we propose a GRN model that is subject to additive and multiplicative noises as well as time-varying *** time-varying delay is assumed to belong to an interval and no restriction on the derivative of the time-varying delay is needed,which allows the delay to be a fast time-varying *** stochastic stability of such GRNs with disturbance attenuation is analyzed by applying the control theory and mathematical *** on the Lyapunov method,new stability conditions are derived in the form of linear matrix inequalities（LMIs）that are dependent on the upper and lower bounds of time *** example is employed to illustrate the applicability and usefulness of the developed theoretical results.

The paper proposes a novel adaptive parameter estimation（APE） framework for nonlinearly parameterized nonlinear systems based on the parameter estimation *** basic idea is to reformulate nonlinearly parameterized systems by using Taylor series expansion,and then tailor a recently proposed APE *** expression of the parameter estimation error is derived by introducing auxiliary filtered variables,which are then used to design the adaptive laws to achieve exponential and even finite-time convergence under the standard persistent excitation（PE） ***,the robustness of the proposed APE against bounded disturbances is also *** simulation examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed estimation algorithms.

This paper is concerned with the finite-horizon H state estimation problem for time-varying complex networks with redundant *** redundant channels are employed in the data transmission to against the fragility of communication networks commonly configured by the single channel subject to data missing and uniform quantization *** aim of the addressed problem is to design an estimator such that the H disturbance attenuation level is guaranteed for the estimation error dynamics over a given finite *** employing the stochastic analysis approach and completing squares method,the desired estimator gains are characterized by solving two coupled backward recursive Riccati Difference Equations(RDEs).Finally,a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the results.
