Poverty-stricken areas in China have the dual task of alleviating poverty and safeguarding national ecological *** on statistical surveys and satellite remote sensing data,we construct a staggered difference-in-difference model to empirically analyze the dual impact of poverty alleviation on the economic development and eco-environment of povertystricken *** study also examines viable pathways for economic development in poor areas in the context of ecological *** results show that the poverty eradication campaign under the leadership of the Communist Party of China has significantly improved the rate of economic growth in poverty-stricken areas while also significantly improving the quality of the local *** analysis shows that ecological projects and ecological compensation make the greatest contribution to promoting the conversion of ecological resources into economic output in poverty-stricken ***'s successful experience in green poverty alleviation can not only provide important policy enlightenment for the nation's continuation of its comprehensive revitalization drive in rural areas,but also provide new options for other developing countries to achieve their green take-off.

Fungi provide ecological and environmental services to humans, as well as health and nutritional benefits, and are vital to numerousindustries. Fermented food and beverage products from fungi are circulating in the market, generating billions of ***, the highest potential monetary value of fungi is their role in blue carbon trading because of their ability to sequesterlarge amounts of carbon in the soil. There are no conclusive estimates available on the global monetary value of fungi, primarilybecause there are limited data for extrapolation. This study outlines the contribution of fungi to the global economy and providesa first attempt at quantifying the global monetary value of fungi. Our estimate of USD 54.57 trillion provides a starting point thatcan be analysed and improved, highlighting the significance of fungi and providing an appreciation of their value. This paperidentifies the different economically valuable products and services provided by fungi. By giving a monetary value to all importantfungal products, services, and industrial applications underscores their significance in biodiversity and conservation. Furthermore,if the value of fungi is well established, they will be considered in future policies for effective ecosystem management.

Bayesian optimization(BO)has been leveraged for guiding autonomous and high-throughput experiments in materials ***,few have evaluated the efficiency of BO across a broad range of experimental materials *** this work,we quantify the performance of BO with a collection of surrogate model and acquisition function pairs across five diverse experimental materials *** defining acceleration and enhancement metrics for materials optimization objectives,we find that surrogate models such as Gaussian Process(GP)with anisotropic kernels and Random Forest(RF)have comparable performance in BO,and both outperform the commonly used GP with isotropic *** with anisotropic kernels has demonstrated the most robustness,yet RF is a close alternative and warrants more consideration because it is free from distribution assumptions,has smaller time complexity,and requires less effort in initial hyperparameter *** also raise awareness about the benefits of using GP with anisotropic kernels in future materials optimization campaigns.

●6102 high-quality sequencing results of soil bacterial samples were re-analyzed.●The type of land use was the principal driver of bacterial richness and diversity.●SOC content is positively correlated with key bacteria and total nitrogen *** organic carbon(SOC)is the largest pool of carbon in terrestrial ecosystems and plays a crucial role in regulating atmospheric CO_(2) *** the essential relationship between soil bacterial communities and SOC concentration is complicated because of many factors,one of which is *** systematically re-analyzed 6102 high-quality bacterial samples in China to delineate the bacterial biogeographic distribution of bacterial communities and identify key species associated with SOC concentration at the continental *** type of land use was the principal driver of bacterial richness and diversity,and we used machine learning to calculate its influence on microbial composition and their co-occurrence relationship with SOC *** land was much more complex than forest,grassland,wetland and wasteland,with high SOC concentrations tending to enrich bacteria such as Rubrobacter,Terrimonas and *** concentration was positively correlated with the amounts of soil total nitrogen and key bacteria Xanthobacteraceae,Streptomyces and Acidobacteria but was negatively correlated with soil pH,total phosphorus and *** study combined the SOC pool with bacteria and indicated that specific bacteria may be key factors affecting SOC concentration,forcing us to think about microbial communities associated with climate change in a new way.

空调用能行为是影响空调使用能耗的重要因素之一。如何定义及描述建筑中空调使用行为是准确进行建筑空调能耗模拟、空调系统运行能效分析等工作的重要基础,而不同研究目的通常又需要采用不同的行为参数来进行分析。鉴于此,本文以办公建筑中空调使用行为为对象,针对大样本统计分析、小样本案例研究、以及能耗模拟/节能诊断3种不同的研究目的,分别进行了空调使用行为的定义研究。在大样本统计分析中,鉴于大规模调研过程中数据采集的难度,仅定义了有限的几个参数以描述空调系统的使用时间和空间使用特征。在小样本案例分析中,综合考虑数据收集难度和分析详细程度两者的平衡,对空调使用时间、使用空间、以及设定温度进行了参数定义。对于建筑能耗模拟,针对建筑模拟输入参数的要求,定义了多种子模式,分别描述空调主机、风系统、水系统等各子系统的使用时间、使用空间、设定温度、控制逻辑等方面的运行特性和内在规律。最后,通过一栋办公建筑案例分析,将上述定义用于该案例空调使用模式的量化描述,并对比分析了不同使用模式对空调能耗的影响。针对不同研究目的进行空调使用行为定义,将有助于准确进行建筑空调能效的量化分析。

This paper reveals the effect of Chinese-style fiscal decentralization on regional total factor productivity(TFP),i.e.,whether it leads to a race to the bottom or a race to the *** analysis shows that Chinese-style fiscal decentralizations affects technological progress by changing the conditions of resource *** empirical results show that Chinese-style fiscal decentralization has significantly improved the level of TFP in China,but it also generates the problems of factor mismatch and distortion of fiscal expenditure structure,and cause the distortion of factor market to a certain extent,which is not conducive to technological *** on further observation of the internal composition of TFP,it is concluded that fiscal decentralization has caused technological progress(TP)and technical efficiency(TE)to show a more obvious race to the top,but the race to the top of TFP is weakening.

Full waveform inversion(FWI)is a data-fitting inverse problem aiming to delineate high-resolution quantitative images of the *** its basic principle has been proposed in the eighties,the approach has been significantly developed and applied to2Dand 3Dproblems at various scales for the last fifteen *** these successes,FWI is still facing some issues for applications in complex geological setups because of some lack of robustness and automatic workflow,while being computationally *** this paper,after a short review of the basic FWI formulation and analysis of the FWI gradient,three recent methodological developments performed in the frame of the SEISCOPE project are ***,an algorithmic development is presented as a low-memory and computationally efficient approach for building the time-domain FWI gradient in 3Dviscous ***,a reformulation of FWI is performed to handle reflections in their tomography regime while still using the diving waves,leading to the joint full waveform inversion(JFWI)***,an optimal transport approach is proposed as an alternative to the classical difference-based misfit for mitigating the cycle-skipping issue.
