The reaction mechanism of 1-chloroethane with hydroxyl radical has been investigated by using density functional theory （DFT） B3LYP/6-31G （d, p） method. All bond dissociation enthalpies were computed at the same theoretical level. It was found that hydrogen abstraction pathway is the most favorable. There are two hydrogen abstraction pathways with activation barriers of 0.630 and 4.988 kJ/mol, respectively, while chlorine abstraction pathway was not found. It was observed that activation energies have a more reasonable correlation with the reaction enthalpy changes （ΔHr） than with bond dissociation enthalpies （BDE）.

Triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)due to lack of clear target and notorious“cold”tumor microenvironment(TME)is one of the most intractable and lethal ***“cold”TME into“hot”becomes an emerging therapeutic strategy to ***,we report that integrin-targeting micellar gemcitabine and paclitaxel(ATN-mG/P,ATN sequence:Ac-PhScNK-NH2)cooperating with polymersomal CpG(NanoCpG)effectively“heated up”and treated ***-mG/P exhibited greatly boosted apoptotic activity in 4T1 cells,induced potent immunogenic cell death(ICD),and efficiently stimulated maturation of bone marrow-derived dendritic cells(BMDCs).Remarkably,in a postoperative TNBC model,ATN-mG/P combining with NanoCpG promoted strong anti-cancer immune responses,showing a greatly augmented proportion of mature DCs and CD8^(+)T cells while reduced immune-suppressive myeloid-derived suppressor cells(MDSCs)and regulatory T cells(T_(reg)),which led to complete inhibition of lung metastasis and 60%mice *** co-delivery of gemcitabine and paclitaxel at desired ratio in combination with NanoCpG provides a unique platform for potent chemoimmunotherapy of“cold”tumors like TNBC.

Low-head dam impoundments modify local habitat and alter fish assemblages; however, to our knowledge, the pattern of how fish assemblages in the impoundments relate to local habitat, tributary position, and dam characteristics is still unclear. We used data collected in 62 impoundments created by low-head dams Jn headwater streams of the Qingyi River, China, to examine relationships between fish assemblages and local habitat, tributary position, and dam characteristics. We also assessed the relative importance of the three groups of factors in determining fish species richness and composition. Linear regression models showed that fish species richness was related to substrate heterogeneity, confluence link, and dam number upstream. Redundancy analysis showed that fish species compositions were influenced by substrate heterogeneity, confluence link, dam height, dam numbers upstream and downstream. Overall, dam characteristics were more important in affecting fish species richness but less important in determining fish species composition than local habitat （i.e., substrate heterogeneity） and tributary position. Our results suggest that low-head dam may affect fish species richness in impoundments by modifying local habitat and constraining fish movement, and the relative abundances of those fish species may depend more on species habitat presences and stream size than on impoundment size and number.

The cyclic GMP-AMP(cGAMP)synthase(cGAS)has been identified as a cytosolic double stranded DNA sensor that plays a pivotal role in the type I interferon and inflammation responses via the STING-dependent signaling *** the past several years,a growing body of evidence has revealed that cGAS is also localized in the nucleus where it is associated with distinct nuclear substructures such as nucleosomes,DNA replication forks,the double-stranded breaks,and centromeres,suggesting that cGAS may have other functions in addition to its role in DNA ***,while the innate immune function of cGAS is well established,the non-canonical nuclear function of cGAS remains poorly ***,we review our current understanding of the complex nature of nuclear cGAS and point to open questions on the novel roles and the mechanisms of action of this protein as a key regulator of cell nuclear function,beyond its well-established role in dsDNA sensing and innate immune response.

Purpose:In recent decades,with the availability of large-scale scientific corpus datasets,difference-in-difference(DID)is increasingly used in the science of science and bibliometrics *** method outputs the unbiased estimation on condition that several hypotheses hold,especially the common trend *** this paper,we gave a systematic demonstration of DID in the science of science,and the potential ways to improve the accuracy of DID ***/methodology/approach:At first,we reviewed the statistical assumptions,the model specification,and the application procedures of DID ***,to improve the necessary assumptions before conducting DID regression and the accuracy of estimation,we introduced some matching techniques serving as the pre-selecting step for DID design by matching control individuals who are equivalent to those treated ones on observational variables before the ***,we performed a case study to estimate the effects of prizewinning on the scientific performance of Nobel laureates,by comparing the yearly citation impact after the prizewinning year between Nobel laureates and their prizewinning-work ***:We introduced the procedures to conduct a DID estimation and demonstrated the effectiveness to use matching method to improve the *** a case study,we found that there are no significant increases in citations for Nobel laureates compared to their prizewinning *** limitations:This study ignored the rigorous mathematical deduction parts of DID,while focused on the practical *** implications:This work gives experimental practice and potential guidelines to use DID method in science of science and bibliometrics ***/value:This study gains insights into the usage of econometric tools in science of science.

Analysis of Synonymous Codon Usage Bias in Chlamydia
