This study adopts the grounded theory approach to critically examine the essence and implementation of Ideological and Political education(IPE)within college English curricula at Chinese *** analyzed a corpus of 80 award-winning lesson plans from the“Teaching Star Competition”held by the Foreign Language Teaching and research Press to establish specific constituents that comprise IPE and identify the instructional methodologies incorporated in the teaching *** research shows that IPE strategically merges language proficiency training with civic education,aiming to cultivate a strong national identity,solid cultural pride,and global *** be more detailed,the core categories of IPE encapsulate critical thinking,professional ethics,and cross-cultural communication skills,which are based on the innovative use of technological resources and adaptive pedagogical *** has also elaborated on the comprehensive assessment mechanisms to measure cognitive and affective outcomes,making it a multidimensional *** a three-stage coding process,this study aims to contribute to this discussion regarding ideological and political education integrated into Chinese higher education *** finding and conclusion in this study drawn for future curriculum developments and reformulation of educational policy suggest ways IPE could better serve in fostering well-rounded individuals capable of contributing to national and global contexts.

Comparison of Antibacterial Activities of Six Bacillus amyloliquefaciens Strains

In this study, six bacterial strains were isolated from the sediment, probiotic fermentation products, and lake sediments, they were identified as Bacillus amyloliquefaciens using genetic evolution analysis, which were named B3, B4, B5, XD3, YF6, and YF8. The comparison of the antibacterial activity, hemolytic activity, and antibiotic sensitivity of six Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strains laid a foundation for the development and application of antimicrobial peptide products. A surface activity assay was used to determine the production of biosurfactants in six Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strains. With Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli as indicator bacteria, their antibacterial activity was determined using the agar diffusion method;the same diffusion method was used to determine the antibiotic susceptibility of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens. The results showed that the six Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strains had obvious biosurface activity, and the bacteria inhibited Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, from strong to weak: YF8, XD3, B3, B4, YF6, and B5. Strain YF8 had the best broad-spectrum bacteriostatic effect, followed by strain XD3. All Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strains were susceptible to 16 common drugs, except for Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain YF8, which was intermediate to neomycin. The study shows that Bacillus amyloliquefaciens and secondary metabolites have the ability to produce a variety of active peptides, exert a certain inhibitory effect on common pathogens, and have the potential to develop as animal probiotics.

Climate conditions have long been acknowledged as a pivotal factor shaping regional productivity and influencing available resources,consequently playing an important role in driving social changes throughout human history[1–3].In ancient East Asia,the Chinese agrarian civilization emerged around 4000 years ago in northern China,the region termed the“Central Plains”.This region faced recurrent episodes of large-scale social unrest,profoundly impacting the societal structure and dynastic cycles[4].These episodes were marked by extended civil peasant uprisings and/or incursions from northern nomadic tribes,often spanning decades to centuries[5].Both the agrarian societies in the Central Plains and the husbandry-based nomadic tribes in the vast northern grasslands,characterized by semi-arid and semi-humid climates,were notably sensitive to climate variations[6].
