Background Influenza vaccination has been clinically shown to reduce adverse cardiovascular outcomes in acute coronary syndrome （ACS） patients, but the economic perspectives can provide important data to make informed decisions. This study aimed to perform the economic evaluation of lifelong annual influenza vaccination for cardiovascular events and well-established pneumonia prevention. Methods Lifetime costs, life-expectancy, and quality-adjusted live years （QALYs） were estimated beyond one-year cycle length of a six-health states Markov model condition on whether a hospitalization for ACS, stroke, heart failure, pneumonia, no hospitalizations occurred, or death. The comparison of three age-groups of 40-49, 50-65, and 〉 65 years scenario was performed. Incremental cost-effectiveness ratio （ICER） and net monetary benefit （NMB） were presented as a societal perspective in 2016. The model robustness was determined by one-way and prob- abilistic sensitivity analyses. Results The influenza vaccination was cost-effective in all age-groups, by dominant ICERs （lower cost with higher effectiveness） which was completely lower than acceptable willingness-to-pay threshold of thailand [160,000 THB （4,466.8 USD） per QALYs], with a great incremental value of NMB. Especially, the 50-year-old-and- above scenario was shown as the most benefit at 129,092 THB （3,603.9 USD） for each patient. Conclusions The annually additional influenza vaccination to standard treatment in ACS was cost-effective in all age-groups, which should be considered in clinical practice and health-policy making process.

The oldest dinosaur assemblages of thailand deposit in continental sedimentary rocks of the Nam Phong Formation. Not only Isanosaurus attavipatchi was discovered but at least two more species of basal sauropods were found. A partial skeleton from Phu Hin Tan locality refers to sauropod taxon A. It is different from Isanosaurus and shares some characteristics with basal sauropods in the Early Jurassic. The sauropod taxon B was found in Non Sra Ard locality. Base on postcranial skeleton, sauropod taxon B shares some characteristics of the family Vnlcanodontidae. Moreover, several fragments of the sauropods specimen are also found in Pha Khok Wang Yang and Phu Noi localities. All of the evidences above indicate that there are a highly diversity of sauropods in the Nam Phong Formation. At least three sauropod species （including Isanosaurus） were found in the Nam Phong formation. The issue about the age of the Nam Phong has been debated for a long time between the Triassic and Jurassic age. All of sauropodomorphs, in this study, are more likely the Early Jurassic period dinosaurs than the Triassic period dinosaurs. And they have deposited in the upper part of Nam Phong Formation.

Urban ambient aerosols in the size range below 10 μm were measured and sampled for further evalua- tion （by Raman and Thermal-Optical analysis） of the collected material. The presented data shows that monitoring number and/or surface area concentrations besides the mass concentration provides valu- able information for a meaningful assessment of the actual ambient air quality. The aim of the study was to characterize the urban aerosols using various instruments, methods, and sampling conditions, and to determine whether a split of the PMzs size fraction at PM1 may deliver a more sensible indication of the actual air quality than the current standard of monitoring PMzs. We found substantial differences relating to this split. PM2.5 data frequently include particles from both mechanical and combustion processes, PM1 measurements can be used to better distinguish particles derived from these two sources. We measured number concentrations of PM1 with PM2.5-1 concurrently with particle mass concentration and found that the typical average particle diameter by mass in the urban aerosols investigated was in the range of 120 nm; this corresponded well with the particle number size distributions measured in real time. Raman spectral analysis and thermal-optical evaluation of the sampled material also suggested that it would be sensible to split the measurement of the PM2.5 fraction into PM1 and PM2.s-1 size fractions, especially for analysis of carbonaceous aerosol components using the DRI thermal/optical reflectance carbon analysis system

Measurements and monitoring of volatile organic compounds （VOCs） have been conducted in the metropolitan Bangkok. However, in-vehicle levels of VOCs are still lacking. This study investigated VOCs concentrations in four public transportation modes in Bangkok, thailand during two rush hour periods （7：00–9：00 a.m. and 4：00–7：00 p.m.）. The four modes included an air-conditioned bus （A/C bus）, non-air-conditioned bus （non-A/C bus）, electric sky train, and a passenger boat traveling along the canal. Comparison among three important bus routes was also studied. In-vehicle air samples were collected using charcoal sorbent tubes and then analyzed by a gas chromatography-mass spectrometer. Results showed that the transportation modes significantly influenced the abundance of in-vehicle benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and m,p-xylene （BTEX）. Median concentrations of BTEX were 11.7, 103, 11.7, and 42.8 μg/m3 in A/C bus; 37.1, 174, 14.7, and 55.4 μg/m3 in non-A/C bus; 2.0, 36.9, 0.5, and 0.5 μg/m3 in sky train; and 3.1, 58.5, 0.5, and 6.2 μg/m3 in boat, respectively. Wilcoxon rank sum test indicated that toluene and m,p-xylene in the sky trains were statistically lower than that in the other three modes at a p-value of 0.05. There were statistical differences in TEX concentrations among the bus routes in the non-A/C buses. In addition, the benzene to toluene ratios implied that tail-pipe emissions were important contributor to the abundance of in-vehicle VOCs.

There have been a very limited number of systematic studies on PM_(2.5)compositions and their source contribution in Southeast *** study aims to explore the characteristics of PM_(2.5)composition collected in Chiang Mai(thailand)during La Nina and El Nino years and to apportion their sources during smoke haze and non-haze *** average PM_(2.5)concentration of smoke haze episode in 2019(El Nino)was much higher than in 2017(La Nina).The ratios of organic carbon(OC)to elemental carbon(EC),as well as K(biomass burning(BB)tracer)to PM_(2.5),were higher during smoke haze episodes in 2019 than in 2017 indicating a significant influence from *** ratios of secondary organic carbon(SOC)levels to primary organic carbon(POC)levels during smoke haze episodes were higher than those in non-haze period,which indicated greater SOC contributions or more photo-oxidation of precursors in haze episodes with high ambient ***,the ratios of soil markers(Ca and Mg)during non-haze period were high implying that soil source contributed more to PM_(2.5)concentrations when there less BB *** positive Matrix Factorization(PMF)model revealed that the source of BB,characterized by high K fractions,was the largest contributor during smoke haze episodes accounting for 50%(2017)and 79%(2019).Climate conditions influence meteorological patterns,particularly during incidences of extreme weather such as droughts,which affect the scale and frequency of open burning and thus air pollution levels.

Background Hypercholesterolemia is a major risk factor for cardiovascular events in patients with established atherosclerotic disease (EAD) and in those with multiple risk factors (MRFs). This study aimed to investigate the rate of optimal low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol level in a multicenter registry of patients at high risk for cardiovascular events. Methods A multicenter registry of EAD and MRF patients was conducted. Demographic data,medical history,cardiovascular risk factors,anthropometric data,laboratory data,and medications were recorded and analyzed. We classified patients according to target LDL levels based on recommendation by the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) 2011 into Group 1 which is EAD and diabetes or chronic kidney disease (CKD)–target LDL below 70 mg/dL,and Group 2 which is MRF without diabetes or CKD–target LDL below 100 mg/dL. The rate of optimal LDL level in patients with Group 1 and Group 2 was analyzed and stratified according to the treatment pattern of lipid-lowering medications. Results A total of 3100 patients were included. Of those,51.7% were male. Average age was 65.8 ± 9.7 years. Average LDL level was 96.3 ± 32.6 mg/dL. A vast majority (92.7%) received statin and 9.3% received ezetimibe. Optimal LDL level was achieved in 20.3% of patients in Group 1 (LDL < 70 mg/dL),and in 46.6% in Group 2 (LDL < 100 mg/dL). The overall rate of optimal LDL control was 23% since 89.6% of study population belongs to Group 1. The rate of optimal LDL was not different between high and low potency statin. Factors that were associated with optimal LDL control were older age,the presence of coronary artery disease or peripheral artery disease. Conclusions The rates of optimal LDL level were unacceptably low in this study population. As such,a strategy to improve LDL control in high-risk population should be implemented.

Objective:To determine the influence of geographic,knowledge and behavioral factors on Opisthorchis(O.)viverrini infection in the Northeast of ***:This cross-sectional study was conducted by using four datasets of years 2016 and *** linear mixed model was employed to analyze association between geographic,knowledge and behavioral factors and *** ***:Totally there were 1885 *** prevalence of *** infection was 10.03%.Geographic factors that showed statistically significant association with *** infection in the Northeast region were featured by at least a dam and reservoir(***=4.21,95%CI:2.49-7.13,P50 dogs and cats per village(***=3.40,95%CI:2.17-5.31,P50%of its areas(***=1.91,95%CI:1.04-4.01,P=0.036),as well as low to moderate levels of knowledge(***=1.60,95%CI:1.32 to 1.94,P<0.001),consumed raw fish(***=1.90,95%CI:1.02 to 3.52,P=0.040)and consumed processed raw fish(***=3.03,95%CI:2.20 to 4.18,P<0.001).Other significant covariates were gender and age of the ***:*** infection still remains a public health problem of the Northeast of *** and demographic factors,knowledge,and consumption behaviors of raw fish products are significantly associated with *** infection.

Winged bean[Psophocarpus tetragonolobus(L.)DC.]is a vegetable legume *** center of origin,diversity and domestication of this crop are not *** this study,we assessed the genetic diversity and population structure of 457 accessions of winged bean collected from six geographical regions(North,Northeast,East,West,and central,and South)in thailand using 14 simple sequence repeat(SSR)*** total,the SSR markers detected only 55 alleles with an average of 3.9 alleles per *** heterozygosity was relatively high(0.15)and overall gene diversity was moderate(0.487).Gene diversity,allelic richness and observed heterozygosity in the six regions were comparable,while the estimated out-crossing rate was relatively high(16.4%).STRUCTURE analysis grouped the 457 winged bean accessions into three ***-joining(NJ)analysis grouped all the accessions into two major *** groups identified by both STRUCTURE analysis and NJ analysis were unrelated to geographical *** coordinate analysis revealed no clear clustering of the winged bean *** genetic groups were not unrelated to geographical origins,most of the winged bean accessions with long pods(30 cm or higher in length)or having purple seed coats or purple young pods were grouped *** suggested that the winged beans with long pods or with purple seed or purple young pods may have a single ***,these results demonstrated that the genetic diversity of winged bean in thailand was moderate with high genetic *** argue that the high genetic admixture of the winged bean in thailand is due to seed migration and relatively high outcrossing rate.

Diseases and compromised health states of massive Porites spp. in the Gulf of thailand and the Andaman Sea

In this study, we assess coral health by detecting the severity of coral diseases and compromised health states on massive Porites. Field surveys are conducted at twenty-two sites covering the eastern, inner and western Gulf of thailand as well as the Andaman Sea during 2010–2015. A total of nine coral diseases and signs of compromised health are observed in the waters of thailand, consisting of pigmentation responses(pink lines, pink patches,pink spots and pink borers), white syndromes(white patches, white bands and ulcerative white spots), growth anomalies, and unusual bleaching patterns. The highest severity of all observed coral diseases and signs of compromised health are found at Ko Khang Khao in the inner Gulf of thailand, while that observed in the Andaman Sea is relatively low. Composition of the diseases vary across the study sites. Four groups of study sites,in which there is an 80% similarity of diseases or signs of compromised health composition, are clustered and detected based on the Bray-Curtis similarity. The canonical analysis of principal coordinates reveal that most study sites in the Gulf of thailand, especially the inner Gulf of thailand, tend to show a high severity of the diseases. The association of disease severity and composition and the level of human impact are also *** study sites located near the shores and/or the areas with intensive tourism tend to have higher human impact, especially on poor water quality, which may be linked to the higher severity and composition of coral diseases and signs of compromised health in the Gulf of thailand. Fish bites are also observed in many study *** severity of fish bites in the Gulf of thailand is much lower compared to the Andaman Sea. Ko Rawi exhibits the highest severity, following by Ko Surin Nua and Ko Butang. The study sites within marine national park boundaries have a significantly higher severity of fish bites than those outside of the marine national park boundaries. This
