Identification and structure-activity modeling of ACE inhibitory peptides demonstrating anti-inflammatory effects:Extracted from Antheraea assama and Philosomia ricnii pupae

Traditionally edible silkworm pupae abundantly available in North eastern region of India have a notable protein content and comprises vast scope of bioactive peptides with unrevealed ***,in this study,peptides derived from Muga and Eri pupae with highest potential to inhibit ACE(Angiotensin converting enzyme)and scavenge free radicals have been characterized,followed by understanding molecular interaction mechanism behind inhibition action and anti-inflammatory potential in endothelial *** study was proposed to generate most potent purified chromatography fractions comprising ACE-inhibitory peptides,identified to contain total 105 peptides in fraction F4 and 53 peptides in fraction F6,majorly acquired from haemolymph protein in pupae.96 peptides with length 5-12 amino acids were selected and exposed to peptide-ACE interaction by molecular docking and *** top 15 peptides,LTSDRDFYVSK,VIELPYGVENR and IYVSDQY acted as effective competitive ACE inhibitor,peptide QTLVPFMK indicated its non-competitive *** F4 and F6 remarkably alleviated COX-2,iNOS expression along with NO release,IL-6(interleukin-6),IL-1β(interleukin-1 beta)and TNF-α(tumor necrosis factor-alpha)***,peptide fractions showed significant potential to curb elevated free radical concentration and induced endoge-nous antioxidant enzymes *** conveyed that Muga and Eri pupae protein derived peptide fractions certainly carried an effective role in modulating the cross talk between ACE activity and inflammation mecha-nisms,supporting their therapeutic potency.

The pursuit of incorporating eco-friendly reinforcing agents in polymer composites has accentuated the exploration of various natural biomass-derived *** burgeoning environmental crisis spurred by the discharge of synthetic dyes into wastewater has catalyzed the search for effective and sustainable treatment *** the various sorbent materials explored,biochar,being renewable,has gained prominence due to its excellent adsorption properties and environmental *** has also emerged as a focal point for its potential to replace other conventional reinforcing agents,viz.,fumed silica,aluminum oxide,treated clays,*** study introduces a novel class of polymer nanocomposites comprising of lignin-based biochar particles and poly(ester amide urethane)matrix via a feasible *** structural evaluation of these nanocomposites was accomplished using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,and powder X-ray *** polymer nanocomposites exhibited superior mechanical properties with an increment in tensile strength factor by 45%in comparison to its pristine matrix,along with an excellent toughness value of 90.22 MJm^(−3)at a low loading amount of only 1 wt%.The composites showed excellent improvement in thermal properties with a sharp rise in the glass transition temperature(Tg)value from−28.15℃to 84℃,while also championing sustainability through inherent biodegradability *** their structural prowess,these polymer nanocomposites demonstrated excellent potential as adsorbents,displaying efficient removal of malachite green and tartrazine dyes from aqueous systems with a removal efficiency of 87.25%and 73.98%,*** kinetics study revealed the pseudo second order model to be the precision tool to assess the dye removal *** this,the Langmuir adsorption isotherm provided a framework to assess the sorption features of the polymer ***,these ren
