Evolution of HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Policies in China:A Grounded Theory Approach

Objective:This study aims to provide a theoretical foundation for the development and practical application of human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(AIDS)prevention and control policy systems in China by scrutinizing,analyzing,and synthesizing the evolution of Chinese policies in this ***:Utilizing grounded theory,we employed NVivo12 software to perform text content analysis,mining,and coding classification,along with visualization techniques,on policy texts sourced from Chinese government platforms,including the official website of China’s State *** considered four analytical dimensions—time,subject,type,and ***:The National Health Commission and the State Council emerged as the primary entities engaged in policymaking for HIV/AIDS in *** identified four distinct stages in the evolution of these policies,culminating in a novel‘sun-shaped’HIV/AIDS prevention and control policy network model with an emphasis on‘knowledge,attitude,and practice’at its nucleus,which aligns with national conditions and societal ***,the focal groups of these policies have been dynamically refined and updated over ***:Our findings introduce a‘sunshaped’HIV/AIDS prevention and control policy network model specific to *** observed a conceptual policy shift towards prioritizing overall human health rather than confining the focus to disease ***,in light of China’s growing elderly population,the imperative to address HIV/AIDS prevention and control among older adults is an issue that warrants increased attention.

The increasing availability of building operational data has greatly encouraged the development of advanced data-driven technologies for smart building *** operational data typically suffer from data quality problems,such as insufficient labeled and imbalanced data,making them incompatible with conventional machine learning *** advances in data science have provided novel machine learning paradigms to tackle such data challenges for practical applications,such as transfer learning,semi-supervised learning,and generative *** review aims to present the progress and perspectives on the effective utilization of novel machine learning paradigms for three major building energy management tasks,i.e.,building energy predictions,fault detection and diagnosis,and control ***-depth discussions have been provided to demonstrate the pros and cons of different learning approaches in terms of data compatibility,modeling difficulties,and possible application scenarios,which could be helpful for enhancing the feasibility of data-driven technologies for smart building operations.

Particle size distribution and characteristics of heavy metals in road-deposited sediments from Beijing Olympic Park

Due to rapid urbanization and industrialization, heavy metals in road-deposited sediments（RDSs） of parks are emitted into the terrestrial, atmospheric, and water environment, and have a severe impact on residents＇ and tourists＇ health. To identify the distribution and characteristic of heavy metals in RDS and to assess the road environmental quality in Chinese parks, samples were collected from Beijing Olympic Park in the present study. The results indicated that particles with small grain size（〈150 μm） were the dominant fraction. The length of dry period was one of the main factors affecting the particle size distribution, as indicated by the variation of size fraction with the increase of dry days. The amount of heavy metal（i.e., Cu, Zn, Pb and Cd） content was the largest in particles with small size（〈150 μm） among all samples. Specifically, the percentage of Cu, Zn, Pb and Cd in these particles was 74.7%, 55.5%, 56.6% and 71.3%, *** metals adsorbed in sediments may mainly be contributed by road traffic emissions. The contamination levels of Pb and Cd were higher than Cu and Zn on the basis of the mean heavy metal contents. Specifically, the geoaccumulation index（I geo） decreased in the order：Cd〉Pb〉Cu〉Zn. This study analyzed the mobility of heavy metals in sediments using partial sequential extraction with the Tessier procedure. The results revealed that the apparent mobility and potential metal bioavailability of heavy metals in the sediments, based on the exchangeable and carbonate fractions, decreased in the order： Cd〉Zn≈Pb〉Cu.

Inhibitive Effect of Proanthocyanidins on Cyclooxygenase-2 Expression in A549 Cells Induced by Cytokine Interleukin-1 Beta

Cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2),an important enzyme,plays a pathological role in diseases,which can be inhibited by proanthocyanidins(PCs) *** this paper,we investigated the inhibitive mechanism of COX-2 performed by *** transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) was performed to identify the mRNA expression level of COX-2 in A549 cell,which was induced by interleukin-1 beta(IL-1β).The pGL3 luciferase reporter vector containing the COX-2 gene promoter fragment(pGL3/COX-2p) was transfected into A549 cell induced by IL-1β,the interference on the COX-2 promoter activity from PCs was analyzed using a dualluciferase reporter assay,and the expressions of the nuclear factor κB composed of subunit p65(NF-κB/p65) and the inhibitor-κB(I-κB) were measured by the Western blotting and *** results exhibited that PCs not only inhibited the transcript of COX-2 mRNA and the COX-2 promoter activity,but also suppressed the nuclear translocation of NF-κB/p65 protein and the degradation of I-κB protein.

Construction of Chaoshan Folk Botanic Garden and Its Tourism planning

Functions of botanic garden such as cultural transmission, science popularization, public leisure, environment beautification, protection of species were analyzed, and those species characterized by unique regional features and widely applied in folk activities in Chaoshan area were introduced. From the perspective of cultural tourism, we discussed the possibility of constructing a folk botanic garden in Chaoshan area, and explored the planning concepts, functional division, species selection and tourism development of the garden.

Structural Upgrade of China's Commodity Trade during 1987-2014

This paper investigates the structural upgrade of China's commodity trade over the past two decades from the perspectives of commodity categories, technical value-added and quality level. Based on the analysis of commodity categories, technical value-added and quality, this paper arrives at the following findings: High technology manufactures accounted for a growing share of China's commodity export, the overall technical level of Chinese exports significantly upgraded, and most of Chinese commodities upgraded from low quality to medium-and high-quality levels. As can be seen from the structure of China's bilateral trade with its five major trading partners, China's exporting goods remained inferior to importing goods in terms of technology and quality despite their quality upgrades.

JFinder:A novel architecture for java vulnerability identification based quad self-attention and pre-training mechanism

Software vulnerabilities pose significant risks to computer systems,impacting our daily lives,productivity,and even our *** and addressing security vulnerabilities in a timely manner is crucial to prevent hacking and data ***,current vulnerability identification methods,including classical and deep learning-based approaches,exhibit critical drawbacks that prevent them from meeting the demands of the contemporary software *** tackle these issues,we present JFinder,a novel architecture for Java vulnerability identification that leverages quad self-attention and pre-training mechanisms to combine structural information and semantic *** results demonstrate that JFinder outperforms all baseline methods,achieving an accuracy of 0.97 on the CWE dataset and an F1 score of 0.84 on the PROMISE ***,a case study reveals that JFinder can accurately identify four cases of vulnerabilities after patching.

Using the setting of corporate site visits,this study examines the information interpretation role of board secretaries on market information *** find that the presence of the board secretary during corporate site visits can significantly improve the information content of such *** the perspective of information interpretation ability,when the board secretary has a dual role,receives high relative compensation,and has a high level of education,his or her participation in site visits has a greater effect on improving the informativeness of such *** the perspective of information asymmetry,the information interpretation role of the board secretary is more pronounced when the level of information asymmetry between the firm and its investors is *** analysis shows that when the board secretary attends more site visits,the level of analyst forecast error is *** summary,we confirm the information interpretation role of board secretaries,which is useful for opening the‘‘black box"of their participation in the information assimilation process and for better understanding of how to improve market information efficiency.

To the Editor:Hyperuricemia,the second most common metabolic disease after diabetes mellitus in China,is characterized by the elevated serum uric concentration which is due to the overactive uric acid production or underexcretion.[1]Recent study supported the notion that hyperuricemia is implicated in renal tubular injury,subsequent tubulointerstitial fibrosis,and finally gouty nephropathy.[2]However,the lack of a suitable and stable mouse model to study hyperuricemia and gout nephropathy delays and limits the development of mechanism research and new *** understanding of the pathogenesis of hyperuricemia and gouty nephropathy has been largely hampered by a lack of preclinical animal models that reliably capture the characteristic phenotypes of hyperuricemia and gouty *** this study,we aimed to develop a novel mouse model for hyperuricemia and gouty nephropathy.
