Study on the Change Character of Double Rice Cold Damage in Hunan and Hubei Province during the Past 50 Years

Based on the meteorological data of representative meteorological stations in Hunan and Hubei from 1961 to 2008 years,the change character of double rice cold damage under the background of climate change were analyzed adopting 30 years glide accumulation *** analysis showed that the 30 years sliding cumulative days of mild low-temperature during spring sowing in Hunan and Hubei were decreased in the recent 50 years,as well as the 30 years sliding cumulative days of moderate low-temperature in central south Hubei,northern and western ***,there was an increase in southern Hunan,so was the 30 years sliding cumulative days of severe *** 30 years sliding cumulative days of mild low-temperature in May reduced in Hunan and ***,that of moderate low-temperature in May in central south Hubei was on the rise,and it was opposite in northern and southern Hunan,but there was no obvious change in western *** 30 years sliding cumulative days of severe low-temperature showed a decreasing tendency in May in central south Hubei,northern and western Hunan,and southern Hunan showed a contrary *** 30 years sliding cumulative days of mild cold dew wind in Hunan and Hubei were decreased,that of moderate cold dew wind in central south Hubei,northern and western Hunan had the same tendency,but there was a contrary tendency in southern *** 30 years sliding cumulative days of severe cold dew wind was decreased in central south Hubei and increased in western Hunan,without cold dew wind in northern and southern Hunan.

At the beginning of 2014,an El Ni?o event was predicted to occur in the following ***,the El Ni?o that started to develop in 2014 was hindered in the boreal summer,and only the ocean reached a weak El Ni?o *** outcome was largely attributed to a suppressed ocean-atmosphere interaction caused by anomalous easterly winds in the eastern equatorial *** winds were related to negative sea surface temperature anomalies（SSTAs） in the southeastern subtropical Pacific（SESP）.The negative phase of the Interdecadal Pacific Oscillation（IPO） laid the foundation for the persistence of cooler SSTAs and enhanced trade winds in the SESP after the year *** the recent IPO downward trend continued,the SSTAs in SESP reached an extremely low value in 2014 and imposed a serious obstacle to the evolution of a warming event.

Fraxinus mandshurica is one of the ancient relict flora species originated from the Tertiary period, which is mainly produced in the eastern mountains in Northeast China. It has an important scientific value for studying the Tertiary flora and the Quaternary glacial climate. In order to make rational use of the natural genetic resources of F. mandshurica , and to increase the scientific and technological added value of improved varieties, this study used the method of positional observation of fixed standard fields to discuss the genetic variations of tree height and DBH of the natural populations and its open-pollinated progenies, systematically analyze the heritability and genetic gains in growth characters based on the analysis of progeny test, growth dynamic and heredity effects. The populations with good growth, stress resistance and adaptability were selected. The results showed that there were extremely significant difference in the growth characters among the natural populations, and the coefficients of variance for tree height （22.99%） were smaller, while the coefficients of variance for DBH （41.37%） were larger. On the other hand, there were extremely significant differences in the growth characters among the open-pollinated progenies, and the interaction between these progenies and the blocks was significant. Meanwhile, the growth characters had strong heritability, high genetic gain, and remarkable heredity effects. The heritability of tree height and DBH were 0.825 and 0.781, and the genetic gains were 15.16% and 25.85%, respectively. Therefore, Shanhetun （SHT） and Xinglong （XIL） were determined to be excellent natural populations both in the growth, resistance and adaptation with growth traits as the main evaluation index, which could be widely applied in the advanced generation improvement breeding.

The Weather Research and Forecasting model is employed to simulate Tropical Cyclone（TC） Megi（2010） using the Grell-Devenyi（GD） and Betts-Miller-Janji?（BMJ） cumulus parameterization schemes respectively. The TC track can be wellreproduced with the GD scheme, whereas it turns earlier than observations with the BMJ scheme. The physical mechanism behind different performances of the two cumulus parameterization schemes in the TC simulation is revealed. The failure in the simulation of the TC track with the BMJ scheme is attributed to the overestimation of anvil clouds, which extend far away from TC center and reach the area of the western Pacific subtropical high（WPSH）. Such extensive anvil clouds, which result from the excessively deep convection in the eyewall, eventually lead to a large bias in microphysics latent heating. The warming of the upper troposphere due to the condensation in anvil clouds coupled with the cooling of the lower troposphere due to precipitation evaporation cause a weakening of the WPSH, which in turn is favorable for the early recurvature of Megi.

Secalonic acid F(SAF) has been previously identified,however,little is known about its cytotoxic activity and related cytotoxic *** aim of this study was to evaluate the cytotoxic activity of SAF isolated from a deep sea originated fungus Penicillium sp.F11 in HL60 cells and to analyze the differences in protein expression of HL60 cells treated with *** CCK-8 assay and Annexin V-FLUOS/PI assay indicated that SAF displayed dose-and time-dependent inhibition of HL60 cell proliferation and induced ***-dimensional gel elec trophoresis(2-DE) analysis of HL60 cells treated with SAF(4 μg/ml) revealed 10 differentially expressed protein spots(P<0.05),5 upregulated and 5 *** spots(1 downregulated and 2 upregulated) were identified as Rho GDP dissociation inhibitor 2(Rho GDI 2) proteins by MALDI-TOF *** blotting further demonstrated the decreased abundance of full-length Rho GDI 2 together with the increased abundance of caspase 3-cleaved product of Rho GDI *** caspase 3 inhibitor Ac-DEVD-CHO could suppress the cytotoxic effect of SAF and significantly block the cleavage of Rho GDI *** GDI 2 is a cytosolic regulator of Rho GTPase and the caspase 3-cleaved product of Rho GDI 2 can advance progression of the apoptotic *** data showed that SAF may modulate Rho GDI 2 levels in HL60 cells,thereby potentially disrupting cell signaling pathways important for HL60 cell function.

This study focuses on the decadal variability of tropical cyclone (TC) activity over the South China Sea (SCS) since the 1970s and its possible *** is found that TC activity over the SCS experienced a significant decadal variation around *** to the period from the 1970s to mid-1990s,the number of TC formed in the SCS obviously increased from mid-1990s through the *** particular,this change of TC genesis is closely related to the decadal variation of summer monsoon intraseasonal oscillation (ISO) over the *** increased TC frequency after mid-1990s is attributed to the enhanced convection during the active phase of SCS monsoon ***,the activities of TCs before mid-1990s are mostly confined within the SCS ***,more TCs generated over the SCS move northeastward since mid-1990s,and finally enter the East China *** southwesterly anomaly over the northern SCS is found since mid-1990s,which is responsible for the northeastward movement of TCs.

A visual loop-mediated isothermal amplification detection of Xanthomonas oryzae ***,the causal agent of bacterial leaf streak disease was developed with SYBR Green I as a fluorescence indicator in this *** special Loop-mediated isothermal amplification primers and two loop primers were designed based on putative glycosyltransferase gene loci which is unique for *** ***-mediated isothermal amplification assay efficiently amplified the target element in less than 60 min at 65 ℃.LAMP assay was evaluated for specificity and sensitivity.A positive colour(Fluorescent Green) was only observed in the presence of Xooc by addition of SYBR Green Ⅰ to amplification,whereas none of other closely related Xanthomonas showed a colour *** lower limit of detection of this LAMP assay was about 100 fg/μL DNA and 3×10CFU/mL Bacterium Suspension,which was 100 times more sensitive than PCR *** of LAMP provides a new alternative method for onsite quarantining and large-scale monitoring of this pathogen.
