Electrocatalytic oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)is one of the most important reactions in electrochemical energy technologies such as fuel cells and metal–O2/air batteries,***,the essential catalysts to overcome its slow reaction kinetic always undergo a complex dynamic evolution in the actual catalytic process,and the concomitant intermediates and catalytic products also occur continuous conversion and *** makes them difficult to be accurately captured,making the identification of ORR active sites and the elucidation of ORR mechanisms ***,it is necessary to use extensive in-situ characterization techniques to proceed the real-time monitoring of the catalyst structure and the evolution state of intermediates and products during *** work reviews the major advances in the use of various in-situ techniques to characterize the catalytic processes of various ***,the catalyst structure evolutions revealed directly by in-situ techniques are systematically summarized,such as phase,valence,electronic transfer,coordination,and spin states ***-situ revelation of intermediate adsorption/desorption behavior,and the real-time monitoring of the product nucleation,growth,and reconstruction evolution are equally emphasized in the *** interference factors,as well as in-situ signal assignment with the aid of theoretical calculations,are also ***,some major challenges and prospects of in-situ techniques for future catalysts research in the ORR process are proposed.

Sheet samples of Mg-8Li,Mg-8Li-3Al,Mg-8Li-3AlSi and Mg-8Li-5AlSi alloys were obtained by hot *** microscope,microhardness tester,nanoindentor,X-ray diffractometer and electrochemical analyzer were adopted to investigate the microstructures,micro-mechanical properties and corrosion *** was preheated to 150°C before rolling process,and rolling reduction designed was about20% per pass with a total rolling reduction of 84%.The rolled plates were annealed at 200°C for 120 *** tensile tests were performed at room *** results showed that both the strength and corrosion resistance of theα＋βdual-phase of Mg-Li alloy were significantly improved with adding Al-Si *** strength enhancement was attributed to the solid solution of Al into theα-Mg matrix and into theβ-Li matrix as well as to the precipitation strengthening of Mg2 Si ***,the dendrite grains ofα-Mg transformed to equiaxed ones with addition of Al into alloy Mg-Li.

In light of the accelerated aging of the global population and the deterioration of the atmosphere pollution, we sought to clarify the potential mechanisms by which fine particulate matter（PM_（2.5）） can cause cognitive impairment and neurodegeneration through the alteration of mitochondrial structure and function. The results indicate that PM_（2.5） inhalation reduces ATP production by disrupting the aerobic tricarboxylic acid cycle and oxidative phosphorylation, thereby causing the hypophosphorylation of tau in the cortices of middle-aged mice. Furthermore, excessive reactive oxygen species generation was involved in the impairment. Interestingly, these alterations were partially reversed after exposure to PM_（2.5） ended. These findings clarify the mechanism involved in mitochondrial abnormality-related neuropathological dysfunction in response to atmospheric PM_（2.5） inhalation and provide an optimistic sight for alleviating the adverse health outcomes in polluted areas.

Global warming and associated global climate change have led to serious efforts towards reducing CO_(2)emissions through the CO_(2)capture from the major emission ***_(2)capture using the amine functionalized adsorbents is regard as a direct and effective way to reducing CO_(2)emissions due to their large CO_(2)adsorption amount,excellent CO_(2)adsorption selectivity and lower energy requirements for adsorbent ***,large number of achievements on the amine functionalized solid adsorbent have been recorded for the enhanced CO_(2)capture in the past few *** view of this,we review and analyze the recent advances in amine functionalized solid adsorbents prepared with different supporting materials including mesoporous silica,zeolite,porous carbon materials,metal organic frameworks(MOF)and other composite porous *** addition,amine functionalized solid adsorbents derived from waste resources are also reviewed because of the large number demand for cost-effective carbon dioxide adsorbents and the processing needs of waste *** the importance of the stability of the adsorbent in practical applications,advanced research in the capture cycle stability has also been summarized and ***,we summarize the review and offer the recommendations for the development of amine-based solid adsorbents for carbon dioxide capture.

Gutin and Rafiey（Australas J. Combin. 34（2006）, 17-21） provided an example of an n-partite tournament with exactly n-m ＋ 1 cycles of length of m for any given m with 4 ≤ m ≤ n, and posed the following question. Let 3 ≤ m ≤n and n ≥ 4. Are there strong n-partite tournaments, which are not themselves tournaments, with exactly n-m ＋ 1 cycles of length m for two values of m？ In the same paper,they showed that this question has a negative answer for two values n-1 and n. In this paper, we prove that a strong n-partite tournament with exactly two cycles of length n-1 must contain some given multipartite tournament as subdigraph. As a corollary, we also show that the above question has a negative answer for two values n-1 and any l with 3 ≤ l ≤ n and l ≠n-1.

The application of iron–carbon(Fe–C)micro-electrolysis to wastewater treatment is limited by the passivation potential of the Fe–C *** order to address this problem,high-gravity intensified Fe–C micro-electrolysis was proposed in this study for degradation of dinitrotoluene wastewater in a rotating packed bed(RPB)using commercial Fe–C particles as the *** effects of reaction time,high-gravity factor,liquid flow rate and initial solution pH were *** degradation intermediates were determined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry,and the possible degradation pathways of nitro compounds by Fe–C micro-electrolysis in RPB were also *** is found that under optimal conditions,the removal rate of nitro compounds reaches 68.4%at 100 *** removal rate is maintained at approximately 68%after 4 cycles in RPB,but it is decreased substantially from 57.9%to 36.8%in a stirred tank *** is because RPB can increase the specific surface area and the renewal of the liquid–solid interface,and as a result the degradation efficiency of Fe–C micro-electrolysis is improved and the active sites on the Fe–C surface can be regenerated for continuous *** conclusion,high-gravity intensified Fe–C micro-electrolysis can weaken the passivation of Fe–C particles and extend their service life.

In this study,a practical process for ozonization of benzyl alcohols to ketones and aldehydes in a rotating packed bed(RPB-O3)reactor has been *** 1-phenylethanol as a model reactant,the performance of RPB-O3 process in different solvents has been compared with the commonly used stirred tank reactor(STR-O3).Ethyl acetate was the optimum solvent for the conversion of 1-phenylenthanol to acetophenone in RPB-O3 process,with 78%yield after 30 *** a parallel STR-O3 experiment,the yield of acetophenone was50%.Other experimental variables,i.e.O3 concentration,reaction time,high-gravity factor and liquid flow rate were also *** highest yield of acetophenone was obtained using O3 concentration of 80 mg·L-1,reaction time of 30 min,high gravity factor of 40 and liquid flow rate of 120 L·*** the optimized reaction conditions,a series of structurally diverse primary and secondary alcohols was oxidized with(19%–92%)*** ozonization mechanism was studied by Electron Paramagnetic Resonance(EPR)spectroscopy,monitoring the radical species formed upon self-decomposition of *** characteristic quadruple peak with the 1:2:2:1 intensity ratio that corresponds to hydroxyl radicals(·OH)was observed in the electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)spectrum,indicating an indirect oxidation mechanism of alcohols via·OH radical.
